The Portland Masonic is a coastal, historic venue based in the heart of Portland, Maine. Its architecturally elegant spaces can accommodate both small and large weddings alike. The magnificent and unique building was created for the purpose of community, making it perfect for celebrating with loved ones.
Facilities & Capacity | Guests will adore the 17th century plaster details, original stained glass windows, antique chandeliers and period millwork. The Armory, a unique ballroom, that features hundreds of lockers used by York Rite Masons. It also has stained glass decor, a parquet dance floor and a vintage American flag. The Reading Room, draped in rich jewel-tone colors, has a beautiful fireplace and antique tables, offering a one-of-a-kind backdrop for photographs.
The Portland Masonic can comfortably21 accommodate up to 250 guests, and includes 60" round tables, five cocktail tables, Fruitwood Chiavari chairs, white china & flatware. We offer a range of wedding-related services that include in-house bar through Spirits Beverage, and catering and planning by Blue Elepant Events & Catering. We include complete design, setup and breakdown of your event.
Cuisine | Making up the second half of The Portland Masonic Event Team, Blue Elephant Events & Catering is a boutique catering company offering innovative menus, décor & top of the line staffing. Blue Elephant will work with you on every detail of your wedding to create a memorable experience for you and your guests. With a dedicated Event Manager, you will be guided through the entire planning process, making sure no detail is left unturned. From menu planning & seating arrangements to design & favors, your wedding will be executed flawlessly.
