This estate features a historically furnished house built in 1847 for a ship captain along with a 2-acre cultivated garden. Overlooking Stockton Harbor, this venue offers couples a stunning backdrop for their big day.
Facilities and Capacity
Inside Belvedere House and Gardens is a formal parlor, library, and dining room that double as get-ready rooms for you and the wedding party. Lush, formal gardens invite you and your guests onto the property. Here, you can enjoy a large fountain and walking paths among various blooming flowers. The garden temple is perfect for a whimsical yet elegant ceremony surrounded by nature and your loved ones. The picturesque grounds offer multiple backdrops for your wedding pictures, ensuring your day will be looked back on for years. The venue's barn space features a vintage bar and lounge space, ideal for a stylish cocktail hour. Then, move the party to a large tent on the reception lawn where you can host a dinner from a caterer of your choice. Continue the celebration with a dance under a blanket of stars. Inside the property's Victorian house is a formal parlor that doubles as a get-ready room for you and the wedding party.

Incredible Venue & Incredible Owners
When it started to rain unexpectedly during our ceremony, Casey & Ryan moved everything we had outside under our tent and in the BARn—one of my favorite features—seamlessly.
Every part of the property is just gorgeous. Details have thoughtfully been added everywhere: the lights, firepit, fountains, statues, cornhole, and expansive gardens mesmerized our guests (and us!). Our guests said they felt like they were at a European estate—some said it was like they were in Bridgerton!
The history of Belvedere is another favorite for us. The work these owners put into restoring this historic captain’s mansion and its property makes Belvedere a true Maine gem. Every couple deserves a wedding day filled with Belvedere memories.
