Sailors Landing is a fabulous venue at a private home on Barters Island, ME. One hour from Portland airport, this venue boasts eight acres of rolling lawns, manicured gardens, and woodland paths along 1200 feet of stunning Maine waterfront. Receptions are to be outdoors and tented, and the ceremony can take place on any of the lawns with gorgeous views overlooking the water, perfect for showstopping photos. Add a cocktail tent- a second one is available! Want to arrive or depart by boat? Waterfront access is through a 100-year-old cedar grove pathway from the venue's private dock. Part of the interior is included with event rentals and includes a kitchen, dining area, bedroom, and full bathroom for getting ready.

If staying on the property during your event is desired, the rambling farmhouse has five cozy water-view bedrooms and four full baths, and is available for partial rentals. Extra lodging in the guest bunkhouse is available upon request. With full rentals, a downstairs queen bedroom is located across from a bath equipped for mobility-challenged guests. Three sitting areas encourage intimate conversation. If not staying with us during your event, the aforementioned great room will be accessible to you and your guests. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area overlooking the spectacular cove and islands. The accessible upstairs bedroom also has a shower and bath with a large mirror and ample counter space.
