Amazing Winter Wedding Experience!
The property was also the most perfect location to take our wedding party, family, and bridal portraits! We were so happy to have an unseasonably warm, sunny January day for our wedding and were able to take photos down by the water, but again Laina was very helpful in letting us know where we could set up to take portraits inside if it had been very cold or raining or snowing!
Additionally it was so helpful for us to be able to stay at the Inn after our wedding! We ended up booking all the rooms and it was so nice for us and for our close friends and family to just head upstairs after the wedding rather than having to travel to a different hotel. Overall we loved working with The Inn at Longshore and would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue in Connecticut!

One of our favorite venues to work at is hands down the Inn at Longshore. We always have a warm welcome working with the staff and they certainly make us feel at home. The venue has a wonderful view, gorgeous grounds and a beautiful ballroom. On the Marc always provides an incredible meal to the staff and the guests. All around Vivid Events is always excited when we are heading to Longshore whether it be to provide Lighting, DJ Services, Photo Booths or Videography. Can't recommend them enough!
It is always a pleasure to perform at The Inn at Long Shore. The staff runs an excellent wedding and they really know how to take care of their clients... from the beautiful atmosphere to the great service...they ensure a successful event every time. The room has a great dance floor and and excellent place for a live band to perform in.
I have done many events and weddings at the Inn at Longshore and the catering done by On the Marc is excellent. The presentation and variety is always top notch and the chef is one of the best!
