Leslie Scotto is the absolute best! We have worked with Leslie on our past events, and we engaged her to help with our daughter's wedding last week. From running the rehearsal, to floral, decor, timing the day out, who needed to be where when, coordinating band timing, bus schedules, hair and makeup, and speeches, everything was absolutely perfect. I was on site a few hours before the ceremony and I watched Leslie and her team talking with the various vendors, it was like watching a conductor lead the orchestra and it was beautiful.
Day of, her team was the first on site and the last to leave.
We all mentioned the next day how we never once felt like we needed to worry about a thing, and there are a lot of moving parts. We were all able to be present and enjoy the celebration.

Where do I even begin. Okay, I know where - when I was feeling incredibly defeated by wedding planning and at the brink of giving up. Dramatic, but true - it's not for everyone.

Leslie hopped on a call with us and immediately we felt that we had everything under control. From that first call to the last dance - her number, email, face was the first I turned to every time I had a question. She was unbelievably prepared, organized, and helpful.

While our venue Wright's Mill Farm was also incredibly helpful throughout this entire process, we could not have planned a wedding from such a long distance (Colorado to CT) without the help and organization of Leslie and Marissa.

Leslie was a massive help as we looked to plan our wedding from afar in California. We got married in CT so it was really helpful to have someone more local to chat with our vendors during their normal business hours and get stuff to the venue for us week of. Leslie had experience working with our event designer, Ruth Ridgeway, as well which made things even better. They collaborated really well together and the whole day was able to operate way smoother knowing things were covered by Leslie. My husband & I were able to enter the day stress-free and just show up which at the end of the day was the whole reason I really wanted to hire an event planner. Leslie also helped call out a lot of the little details that we would've likely missed planning for if we were doing so ourselves. You can tell her from her experience she's nearly seen it all. Having Leslie's help made such a positive difference! Highly recommend!

We live in California but decided to get married in Connecticut. After wasting time (and money) trying to do everything ourselves, we partnered with Leslie to help us get our act together. She was incredibly patient and provided us with outstanding guidance. She was also so helpful in managing our budget and put a lot of work into researching the best options for us that would keep us honest but make our event look amazing. In the final stretch and on the day, Leslie is supported by some amazingly creative and thoughtful team members who are willing to go above and beyond. One of her staff even picked up our dessert order for us and saved us a bunch of money!

Leslie and her team helped make my wedding day / wedding month perfect. I wouldnt change a thing about the day, largely because Leslie was there to make it seamless.

I got married at a venue that was just the venue - one that didnt provide food, linens, etc. so Leslie and her team helped manage and coordinate with the numerous vendors and ensure each piece fit into the puzzle perfectly, all while doing it with a confident, reassuring smile.

She and her team managed day of issues behind the scenes and without many peoples knowledge. She takes action immediately!

Leslie and her team helped me plan our COVID-rescheduled wedding last summer and she made everything so easy. I was a ball of nerves after we had to move our date but she made everything so seamless in terms of moving all of our vendors and getting everything in place despite the challenges we encountered due to the pandemic. We were very happy with the level of attention we received and it was so helpful to have Leslie and team meet with us regularly and ultimately have them there for the big day to deal with any problems that came up. 20 out of 10 stars - would definitely recommend!

All I can say is: hire Leslie and her wonderful team! My husband and I were so pleased with Leslie's service throughout the course of our wedding. From the very beginning, she was organized, thoughtful, and provided us with expert recommendations on local vendors that fit our personalities. She kept us on track and was always willing to chat with us as worries and stresses came up throughout the course of planning (as they always will!). She was particularly great at liaising with my parents (who were hosting the wedding in their backyard), but also checking in with me and my husband who were out-of-state.

But truly, it was the month prior to the wedding that Leslie and her team really shined! She was so innovative and creative with solutions, and I always felt like I was in good hands. For instance, because of the slope of our backyard, the dance floor was slightly angled, and with rainy weather forecast, we were all very worried about people falling. Leslie to the rescue! The night before the wedding, she texts my mother about her idea to get a carpet from Home Depot, and then rented a Uhaul with her husband to get it to our house! And it worked miraculously! Despite rain, no one fell on the dance floor (and it really helped with the slope!). Truly above and beyond! She also has wonderful taste, so you're in very good hands if things need to change at the last minute with supply chain issues. The candles we thought we wanted weren't available at the last minute, but the ones Leslie chose (and indeed were the ones she initially recommended) were PERFECTION. Looking back on photos, I can't believe we were going to go with a different color!

All in all, Leslie and her team (and particularly Alison, who was the team member who helped us) were just wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Leslie & Team for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

Leslie at Leslie Scotto Events did an absolutely incredible job planning our wedding and if you are looking for a planner you should hire her right now.

Leslie (and Alison) helped us pull off an absolutely stunning wedding. We got married the backyard - so we had to build an event space from scratch. Covid threw our guest list into a blender. Planning an October wedding outside meant that any weather was possible. Yet, though-out the planning process Leslie guided us and our families with a calm but realistic outlook. No challenge was too great, but a common sense pragmatism helped us avoid pitfalls and focus on the things that were truly important for us.

And Leslie shines brightest in the final stretch. In the weeks leading up to the wedding weekend she was everywhere - on site supervising the tent install, helping pick candles, coordinating all the vendors to build the perfect space. The night before the wedding she saw that our dancefloor was just a little steeper and slicker than expected and went out and bought carpet to make it easier for our guests to dance. This attention to detail can go overlooked until you look back and realize that it feels like nothing went wrong. The day before the wedding we were ready to help finish setting up only to find out there really wasn't anything left to do - everything had been done on time and the last few remaining tasks were already assigned out. All we had to do was enjoy the weekend.

There are so many more things we could say, but the short answer is that if you are looking for a wedding planner you should absolutely hire Leslie and her team. They will work with you every step of the way and ensure that when it is time for the event everything has been taken care of and all that is left to do is enjoy it.

PS - to couples planning your wedding, the only thing that Leslie will absolutely insist on is that you eat at your wedding. Another small thing that makes the day (and rest of the night) go so much smoother.

As the mother-of-the-bride I cannot possibly recommend Leslie and her team enough. From my first panicked phone call four months ago when our daughter and fiance decided to push forward with a fall wedding (in our backyard no less!) Leslie was confident, reassuring and optimistic that she could help us pull everything together in time. And did she ever!
