  Simply the Best!

  Leslie Scotto is the absolute best! We have worked with Leslie on our past events, and we engaged her to help with our daughter's wedding last week. From running the rehearsal, to floral, decor, timing the day out, who needed to be where when, coordinating band timing, bus schedules, hair and makeup, and speeches, everything was absolutely perfect. I was on site a few hours before the ceremony and I watched Leslie and her team talking with the various vendors, it was like watching a conductor lead the orchestra and it was beautiful.
  Day of, her team was the first on site and the last to leave.
  We all mentioned the next day how we never once felt like we needed to worry about a thing, and there are a lot of moving parts. We were all able to be present and enjoy the celebration.
  We highly recommend Leslie and her team of seasoned professionals.

  Cross Country Couple Needed Help

  We live in California but decided to get married in Connecticut. After wasting time (and money) trying to do everything ourselves, we partnered with Leslie to help us get our act together. She was incredibly patient and provided us with outstanding guidance. She was also so helpful in managing our budget and put a lot of work into researching the best options for us that would keep us honest but make our event look amazing. In the final stretch and on the day, Leslie is supported by some amazingly creative and thoughtful team members who are willing to go above and beyond. One of her staff even picked up our dessert order for us and saved us a bunch of money!

  Incredible Events Company - Leslie Scotto Events

  Leslie and her team helped make my wedding day / wedding month perfect. I wouldnt change a thing about the day, largely because Leslie was there to make it seamless.
  
  I got married at a venue that was just the venue - one that didnt provide food, linens, etc. so Leslie and her team helped manage and coordinate with the numerous vendors and ensure each piece fit into the puzzle perfectly, all while doing it with a confident, reassuring smile.
  
  She and her team managed day of issues behind the scenes and without many peoples knowledge. She takes action immediately!
  
  Her industry expertise really was apparent from the first meeting I had with Leslie through to the day of the wedding.

  Wedding Review

  Leslie was a massive help as we looked to plan our wedding from afar in California. We got married in CT so it was really helpful to have someone more local to chat with our vendors during their normal business hours and get stuff to the venue for us week of. Leslie had experience working with our event designer, Ruth Ridgeway, as well which made things even better. They collaborated really well together and the whole day was able to operate way smoother knowing things were covered by Leslie. My husband & I were able to enter the day stress-free and just show up which at the end of the day was the whole reason I really wanted to hire an event planner. Leslie also helped call out a lot of the little details that we would've likely missed planning for if we were doing so ourselves. You can tell her from her experience she's nearly seen it all. Having Leslie's help made such a positive difference! Highly recommend!

  The absolute best

  Where do I even begin. Okay, I know where - when I was feeling incredibly defeated by wedding planning and at the brink of giving up. Dramatic, but true - it's not for everyone.
  
  Leslie hopped on a call with us and immediately we felt that we had everything under control. From that first call to the last dance - her number, email, face was the first I turned to every time I had a question. She was unbelievably prepared, organized, and helpful.
  
  While our venue Wright's Mill Farm was also incredibly helpful throughout this entire process, we could not have planned a wedding from such a long distance (Colorado to CT) without the help and organization of Leslie and Marissa.

  All I can say is: hire Leslie and her wonderful team! My husband and I were so pleased with Leslie's service throughout the course of our wedding. From the very beginning, she was organized, thoughtful, and provided us with expert recommendations on local vendors that fit our personalities. She kept us on track and was always willing to chat with us as worries and stresses came up throughout the course of planning (as they always will!). She was particularly great at liaising with my parents (who were hosting the wedding in their backyard), but also checking in with me and my husband who were out-of-state.
  
  But truly, it was the month prior to the wedding that Leslie and her team really shined! She was so innovative and creative with solutions, and I always felt like I was in good hands. For instance, because of the slope of our backyard, the dance floor was slightly angled, and with rainy weather forecast, we were all very worried about people falling. Leslie to the rescue! The night before the wedding, she texts my mother about her idea to get a carpet from Home Depot, and then rented a Uhaul with her husband to get it to our house! And it worked miraculously! Despite rain, no one fell on the dance floor (and it really helped with the slope!). Truly above and beyond! She also has wonderful taste, so you're in very good hands if things need to change at the last minute with supply chain issues. The candles we thought we wanted weren't available at the last minute, but the ones Leslie chose (and indeed were the ones she initially recommended) were PERFECTION. Looking back on photos, I can't believe we were going to go with a different color!
  
  All in all, Leslie and her team (and particularly Alison, who was the team member who helped us) were just wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Leslie & Team for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

  Leslie is the best!

  Leslie at Leslie Scotto Events did an absolutely incredible job planning our wedding and if you are looking for a planner you should hire her right now.
  
  Leslie (and Alison) helped us pull off an absolutely stunning wedding. We got married the backyard - so we had to build an event space from scratch. Covid threw our guest list into a blender. Planning an October wedding outside meant that any weather was possible. Yet, though-out the planning process Leslie guided us and our families with a calm but realistic outlook. No challenge was too great, but a common sense pragmatism helped us avoid pitfalls and focus on the things that were truly important for us.
  
  And Leslie shines brightest in the final stretch. In the weeks leading up to the wedding weekend she was everywhere - on site supervising the tent install, helping pick candles, coordinating all the vendors to build the perfect space. The night before the wedding she saw that our dancefloor was just a little steeper and slicker than expected and went out and bought carpet to make it easier for our guests to dance. This attention to detail can go overlooked until you look back and realize that it feels like nothing went wrong. The day before the wedding we were ready to help finish setting up only to find out there really wasn't anything left to do - everything had been done on time and the last few remaining tasks were already assigned out. All we had to do was enjoy the weekend.
  
  There are so many more things we could say, but the short answer is that if you are looking for a wedding planner you should absolutely hire Leslie and her team. They will work with you every step of the way and ensure that when it is time for the event everything has been taken care of and all that is left to do is enjoy it.
  
  PS - to couples planning your wedding, the only thing that Leslie will absolutely insist on is that you eat at your wedding. Another small thing that makes the day (and rest of the night) go so much smoother.

  A Vision Made Real

  As the mother-of-the-bride I cannot possibly recommend Leslie and her team enough. From my first panicked phone call four months ago when our daughter and fiance decided to push forward with a fall wedding (in our backyard no less!) Leslie was confident, reassuring and optimistic that she could help us pull everything together in time. And did she ever! With steadfast diligence, incredible ingenuity, and pure determination to make everyone happy, Leslie took the vision we had for our daughter's wedding and made it a reality - a joyful, happy, memorable day that we will treasure forever. And because we had Leslie at the helm, my husband and I were able to enjoy every second of it which we will always be grateful for. Leslie and her team are pure gold - I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

  I was the mother of the bride who was responsible for many of the details of the wedding.

  Leslie Scotto saved us during this pandemic. She not only helped us reschedule vendors and hotels from 2020, but also rebooked everything for 2021. We NEVER could have navigated this without her! She was patient with us, and very detail oriented. She was always calm and succeeded in calming us down and with her at the helm, we were confident everything would work out well. She gave us excellent ideas, and options, but always gave us enough time to make our own decisions. She has a great personality, is fun to work with, and always was able to put a positive spin on everything that was going on. She is a very positive person and rises to every challenge. My daughter had a beautiful wedding, and my stress level went down 100% thanks to Leslie. I would recommend her very highly and without reservation.

  Excellent team

  Leslie and her team helped me plan our COVID-rescheduled wedding last summer and she made everything so easy. I was a ball of nerves after we had to move our date but she made everything so seamless in terms of moving all of our vendors and getting everything in place despite the challenges we encountered due to the pandemic. We were very happy with the level of attention we received and it was so helpful to have Leslie and team meet with us regularly and ultimately have them there for the big day to deal with any problems that came up. 20 out of 10 stars - would definitely recommend!

  Leslie is amazing!

  Leslie helped me plan a very logistically complicated wedding in my husbands parents back yard in Connecticut. She didn’t forget 1 detail and organized all the venders seamlessly giving us the perfect beautiful end result and day of our dream :) thank you Leslie!

  Couldn't have done it without Leslie and Alison

  I don’t know how we could have done it without Leslie and Alison! Leslie Scotto Events helped us plan our dream wedding while navigating all sorts of COVID uncertainty and while we lived across the country. We used full service wedding planning and it was the best decision we could have made. It made the whole process so easy and we ended up with something that felt just ‘like us’, we were so impressed with her designs and ideas. She was on top of everything and no change or request phased her. She kept us excited and optimistic even throughout a challenging winter and wrangled a difficult set up timeline with our vendors and changing weather concerns. Things went so smoothly in such a hectic time, to be honest I’m not even sure how much was involved because she kept everything off our plates. I like to think of myself as an organized person but Leslie is something else! We were always 100% certain that things were under control and when the big day came things were perfect, even better than we could have imagined.

  Fabulous planning and execution

  Leslie ensured that my daughter’s wedding was perfect and that my husband and I could relax and enjoy the event. Given the complexity of COVID, weather, and having the bride and groom miles and time zones away, this was not easy, yet Leslie’s competence made the whole experience fun and low stress.

  Wonderful Experience

  I was unsure about the value of hiring someone to help me plan a couples shower for my son & his fiancee, but Leslie made the experience easy & had ideas I'd have never thought of, thought of every detail and connections to the vendors I needed.   Incredible, Wonderful, Fantastic, Leslie!

  We could not have pulled off our big day without Leslie Scotto Events! She is incredibly flexible with her breadth of service. We needed less hands on early in the process, and all in toward the last 6-8 weeks. Leslie is always professional yet bubbly and happy to help in any way possible. Even while navigating COVID! She was 100% on top of any regulatory change regarding COVID. We had hit a low point in August regarding guest count, and had to cancel our DJ. Late September, the rules changed for the better and we were able to re-instate DJ services! She helped us pull that piece together with only 2 weeks left until the big day. Leslie has fantastic design ideas and for less creative folks like us, that is HUGE. In the final week leading up to the wedding, my stress level was next to none (other than excited nerves!) As a high anxiety individual, that is priceless. Any future event or party we may have, Leslie is the only person I would trust to help plan and execute. Our big day was perfect and we cannot thank Leslie enough!!!

  It was so easy to work with Leslie and Alison! They made sure we stayed on track with deadlines and time sensitive decisions. Our vision came to life when we arrived to our venue at the Burr Mansion and everything was spot on! Leslie and Alison helped everything run smoothly during our reception and were always near by if we needed anything. Hiring a planner really takes the added stress of planning a wedding away, so if you are on the fence about it, DO IT! Leslie and her team were awesome! We will continue to rave about them and recommend to other couples!

  Effortless day for us thanks to Leslie

  My daughter’s wedding was at Penfield Pavilion in Fairfield and it’s a pretty DIY location - tables get set up, but the rest is on us. Leslie met with us several times to understand the bride and grooms’ vision and to plan the day to their exact wishes. She worked coordinating all of the different vendors (food, bar, music, flowers, officiant, rentals, venue etc.) and it was seamless for us. The actual wedding day exceeded my expectations. All we had to do was have fun - it was like we were guests at the wedding. She set it all up, took it all down - and made sure the wedding day flowed as planned. Leslie's humor and expertise are well worth the money -- I honestly can't image what we would have done without her.

  Leslie Scotto was great!

  We worked with Leslie for month-of wedding planning services and she was incredibly helpful! Our wedding venue required that nearly all vendors be brought in externally, which called for a lot of logistics and coordination.   BCD Wedding

  Planning a wedding from a distance can be challenging at best. We were so fortunate to find a hidden gem in Leslie Scotto. She took the time to get to know us on a level I never expected but in hindsight, the reasons she did this were so obvious.
  We were not overly concerned about the typical “formality” of a wedding. We are a little older and we just wanted to be able to share what it’s like to finally find the person you were meant to be with.
  Leslie was able to fill in the little gaps and details with things she knew we would love because she actually “knew” us. She helped make our day so much more memorable not only to us, but to our family and closest friends.

  Leslie was the best, most helpful person at our wedding!! She made all of our ideas and visions come to life! I never could have dreamed for a more perfectly put together event and it was all because she was there to organize our day! Many years ago Leslie helped at my grandmothers surprise party, my brother and I both used her at our weddings and she has become family to us!! I will always recommend using her services and will look to her for future parties and events! Do yourself a favor and use Leslie, you will not be disappointed!

  Leslie is amazing!

  We just got married on May 26 2019 at the Stamford Yacht Club. Our day was absolutely perfect and it wouldn’t have been possible without Leslie. Leslie came in to save us when we realized we couldn’t do everything ourselves. It was my dads idea to get a planner/coordinator and I’m so thankful we found Leslie! From the first meeting I knew Leslie would be perfect. Leslie has such a bubbly personality and always makes everything so easy. Leslie was able to seamlessly handle my sometimes difficult father- a task I still struggle with! Leslie was always on top of everything and usually when I asked her a question about something it was already completed. Leslie was always in communication with all our vendors and made my life so much easier! Leslie had such great ideas with signs and decorations for our wedding and it added the perfect touch! Leslie was always available to talk and ease my worries. Leslie found us the perfect favors and made awesome gift bags. Leslie always went above and beyond for anything we wanted or asked to add in to her responsibilities. Leslie was absolutely amazing on our wedding day and made sure everything was perfect! I am a messy eater and spilled several things on my dress and Leslie came to the rescue with wipes to get the stains out! Leslie walked our flower girl down the steps to make sure she got down safely. Just a few examples of how amazing Leslie is! Leslie doesn’t miss a beat and is always prepared for everything. Leslie is the best and we can’t thank her enough for making our day so special and amazing!!! We highly recommend Leslie- she will make your day just as special!

  Just had my wedding on July 14 at the Discovery Museum and Planetarium. None of it would have been possible without Leslie’s guidance, creativity and hard work. From the beginning Leslie had her work cut out for her because I have NOT been planning my wedding since I was a little girl, but I am an incredibly controlling person. Leslie was beyond encouraging of our ideas while simultaneously guiding us to make the right decisions. She somehow managed to figure out exactly what I wanted, while simultaneously taking all of the stress out of everything.
  
  When the major planning began about 6 months before the event, I had just started a new job that was taking up a lot more time and attention than I had anticipated. Leslie was always able to work around my schedule and made every aspect of the planning process enjoyable and stress-free. Leslie met with us over a dozen times throughout and was always reaching out to give us updates or prompt us when decisions needed to be finalized. Not just once, but on two occasions I got nervous about falling behind schedule and Leslie met me at a café right next to my office in the middle of the day to go over things with me and reassure me that we were on track.
  
  To be honest I did not expect everything to go perfectly, because nothing ever does. It has been two weeks and I keep saying how I can’t believe that nothing went wrong. I went into it expecting there to be a few hiccups, if not one major mishap, but from the guests’ point of view and mine it was flawless. I am sure I don’t even know the extent of what Leslie did behind the scenes, but she made it look easy. I am sure there might have been some luck involved, but I think the majority of the credit goes to Leslie. There are a million things that can go wrong at a wedding, or any event for that matter, but you cannot go wrong with Leslie.

  I knew I needed the help of a day-of-coordinator at my wedding because we got married in the same room where we'd later have the party, and the venue itself had a manager that was very unresponsive. It was tough for me to find the right person because I am hyper organized and knew I'd be extra picky about the details and this person's work in particular. After meeting with a few different people and not feeling confident that anyone was the right person for the job, I met Leslie for coffee and we clicked immediately. She did not try to sell a cookie-cutter package but instead explained that she knows every event is different and she is there to figure out exactly what I need and the best way to help, and her prices are not too high. While I hired her for "day-of coordination" we began working together almost six months in advance and she never hesitated to answer my (often complicated) questions. The month and then week before she was very involved and I felt totally comfortable turning over the reins to her so I could relax and enjoy the party. She made sure to keep me in the loop with everything so I'd feel like I was still organized and in control, and she never stopped checking in to make sure everything was getting done. After some trouble with the first tasting we had at our venue she took it upon herself to talk to the manager at the venue and get us a second tasting that ended up being vital for a great wedding day.
