Amazing Winter Wedding Experience!

The Inn at Longshore was the perfect choice for our wedding venue! Our coordinator Laina was amazing with helping us plan all the details and making suggestions. The food was incredible and our guests are still talking about it months later! And because we had an off season wedding we actually got to choose even more hors d’oeuvres for cocktail hour than we initially thought were included. We ended up having about 140 guests and the cocktail hour space was the perfect size, but Laina was super helpful and had also said we could open up the elevated section of the ballroom next to the cocktail hour space if we needed more room. The dinner itself was also amazing and the s’mores station outside was a great end to the night!

The property was also the most perfect location to take our wedding party, family, and bridal portraits! We were so happy to have an unseasonably warm, sunny January day for our wedding and were able to take photos down by the water, but again Laina was very helpful in letting us know where we could set up to take portraits inside if it had been very cold or raining or snowing!

Additionally it was so helpful for us to be able to stay at the Inn after our wedding! We ended up booking all the rooms and it was so nice for us and for our close friends and family to just head upstairs after the wedding rather than having to travel to a different hotel. Overall we loved working with The Inn at Longshore and would recommend it to anyone looking for a venue in Connecticut!

Wedding review

I cannot thank the Inn at Longshore enough for such a beautiful wedding!!!!!!! I’m a NJ girl who decided to do a New England coastal wedding. I never been to this venue before so I took a risk when I found it on Instagram and decided after a tour that this was the spot. I can’t say enough how they were an absolute dream to work with! They went above and beyond !!!!!!!!!! Always easy to communicate with. Unfortunately it rained on my wedding day and we had to convert everything last minute to inside but the way they still made the day absolutely perfect- I have no words! The food was amazing! Everything was just perfect thanks to the inn at Longshore team! And of course a special shout out to our coordinator Brian who also was an absolute dream to work with !!!!!!!!! Thank you! We love you guys!!!

Best day of our lives!

Our wedding at the Inn at Longshore was by far the best day of our lives. Everything was top notch- the venue is set on the Long Island Sound and feels like you are getting married in Cape Cod. The food was INCREDIBLE, we added a sushi bar for cocktail hour which was a big hit with the guests and even the steak at dinner was really good which is rare at a wedding. The staff was incredible, from the wait staff to the awesome bartenders who were knowledgeable and efficient making great drinks. And lastly, we cannot thank our coordinator Brian enough for help making our dream a reality. We had zero stress leading up to and on our wedding day because Brian took care of everything for us. Would recommend Longshore to any person looking to get married in the NY/CT area.

Best Day of our Lives!!!

BOOK THIS VENUE! I cannot recommend the Inn at Longshore enough. The staff, the view, the location, every single thing about this place blew my expectations out of the water. From the moment we toured the venue with Christine, I knew we had to have our wedding at Longshore. Leading up to the wedding, our coordinator, Kristen, was so helpful in answering all of my crazy detailed questions without batting an eye. I felt so comfortable by the day of the wedding; Kristen made sure even the finest of details were paid attention to. We got married at the beginning of September, and the staff worked tirelessly to make our day absolutely perfect. That’s not to say things didn’t go wrong the day of! Our best man ended up ripping his pants and one of our bridesmaids split the zipper on her dress. Immediately, one of the Inn’s staff members, Angelica, jumped in and sewed everyone’s outfits back together! I couldn’t believe it. During cocktail hour, an espresso martini was accidentally spilled on my dress, and once again Angelica jumped in to help right away! She spent a solid 30-45 minutes with us scrubbing the stain out in the bathroom, steaming and ironing my dress, to the point that you would never even notice something had happened. I will be telling the story of how Angelica saved our wedding day for the rest of my life. The staff at The Inn at Longshore truly treated us like members of their family, and it’s safe to say we all felt it.
The phenomenal staff aside, the food was INCREDIBLE! For cocktail hour we had eight different types of passed hors d’oeuvres, pizza, bruschetta, and a raw bar! People have been raving about it to me constantly since the wedding. The dinner food was consistently delicious, and the desserts were a huge hit. Multiple people have told me they kept going back to ask for more dessert!
I cannot think of a single thing I would change about our wedding day. The Inn at Longshore made it the best day of our lives, and I will never get over it! Like I said, BOOK IT!

The most amazing venue & team

We got married on July 23, 2023 and could not have had the most perfect wedding day. The Inn at Longshore is a beautiful waterfront venue with the most amazing team and delicious food. From our venue tour with Christine through our wedding day with Laina we could not have been more impressed. Laina was extremely responsive, creative & flexible. She truly helped to bring our vision to life all while keeping things fun. Our guests are still raving about our food and bar service, this team truly knows how to throw a spectacular wedding. I still crave the lamb chops and mini lobster rolls we had at cocktail hour!!! I could not recommend this venue or this team enough. THANK YOU.

Amazing Wedding!

We couldn't be happier we chose this wedding venue. From the atmosphere to the staff, everything turned out better than we could have hoped for! Our coordinator, Laina, was amazing- she was so nice, personable, and helpful from start to finish- she truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day as seamless as possible. Our guests were raving about the scenery on the water and the cocktail hour with the passed apps as well as how attentive all the bartenders and catering staff were. We are still in awe at how perfectly everything came together and we are so thankful for all of the support from the whole staff at the Inn at Longshore! We can't wait to continue to make visits here in the future and look back on our wedding day!

Please have your wedding here!

It is difficult to put into words how absolutely perfect this venue is. From the starting process, Christine was so helpful in booking and even let my parents take the venue tour as I live across the country. Kristen, our wedding coordinator, and Takeya were absolute dreams. They made sure every single step of my wedding went as smoothly as possible. My wedding day fell on a very windy day and while we were taking photos, my wedding arch came crashing to the floor and broke into a million pieces. Kristen had her PARENTS who are florists come to the Inn to fix it. I literally went into a panic but Kristen didn't bat an eyelash and literally saved the day. My guests could not stop talking about how incredible the food was and how great the staff was. The wait staff made it their mission to seek me out and make sure I always had something to eat. I could go on forever about this venue. They made my dream wedding come true and I will be forever grateful to them!!!!!

Beautiful Venue with Amazing Staff!

Our wedding at the Inn at Longshore was like a fairy tale! We picked the Inn at Longshore for its charming ballroom and outdoor cocktail area with gorgeous backdrop overlooking the ocean. Outside of the Inn’s beauty the food at our wedding was delicious. The Inn provided us with so many fun options to choose from especially for our passed hors d’oeuvres and desserts. The menu that we were able to create felt very personal and we received so many compliments from our guests on how tasty our food was. If the gorgeous venue and outstanding food was not enough, what really puts this venue over the top are all the amazing people that work there. We cannot say enough great things about Laina, our wedding coordinator. She responded quickly to all our questions and was so patient with us, offering great advice as we went through the planning process. Laina was very accommodating making sure our dream wedding became a reality. On our wedding day, Laina took care of us and our guests making sure that event ran smoothly. She is so easy to get along with and while working with her it felt like we were working with a friend that we had known for a long time. We also had the pleasure of working with Christine, Takeya, Adam, Gabriella, Ty, and countless other staff at the Inn who went above and beyond to make our day so special. We could not thank each and every one of them enough for their hard work and support. We truly had the best day ever and wish that we could do it all over again!

Get married at longshore!

My husband and I got married at Longshore this past weekend, and it was absolutely incredible. Working with Longshore from day 1 had been so easy and seamless. They were always available to answer questions, and made sure that we were happy. They have wonderful vendor recommendations, an amazing menu of options to choose from, and of course the space itself is just gorgeous.
Everyone we worked with at Longshore was fantastic. Special thanks for Kristen our wedding coordinator for making everything so special. Go for the wood fire oven pizza if it is available for your event--it is delicious!!
Would highly highly recommend anyone in the Westchester/Fairfield county areas to look at Longshore for their wedding or any other event.

BEST wedding venue with incredible staff!

We couldn’t have made a better decision than to have our wedding at The Inn At Longshore. The space: simple, elegant, with beautiful grounds - located right on the water. Even with an April wedding (on the colder side) it was beautiful! It allows you to do whatever you want and decorate to your tastes. Honestly, you don’t need to bring in a whole lot to make the space look beautiful. The staff: the entire staff was so kind, helpful, and attentive - we didn't have to worry about anything and were fully taken care of all day. From the moment we stepped onto the premises the team at the inn took care of everything. The food: i cannot express how many compliments we got on the food. Wedding food can be meh but our guests raved about the cocktail hour and aid the steak was perfectly cooked! If you’re thinking about it, book it. This place is incredible!

Incredible Venue for a memorable wedding!

What an incredible wedding venue! We had such a positive experience and an unforgettable weekend at the Inn at Longshore for our wedding this January. Laina was such an amazing person to work with throughout this entire process. She was extremely accommodating and flexible with all the changes due to the pandemic and we could not be more thankful. All the decorations and everything was exactly how we anticipated it. The team really goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is special and that all your needs our not only met, but exceed all your expectations. All our guests were raving about the food and entire event. We would highly recommend the Inn at Longshore for your wedding!

AMAZING! Couldn't have asked for a better venue

The Inn at Longshore is not only an incredibly beautiful venue, but those running it do so much to ensure your day is perfect and incredible. I cannot speak highly enough of my team at the Inn (Christine, Adrienne, et al). We had to postpone our wedding, like so many others, due to COVID-19, and the Inn made this difficult decision so easy and painless. Throughout the planning process, I was able to focus on what I wanted to date to look like, not much about logistics, because the Inn took care of everything (even our vendors all came from their preferred vendor list, which is GOLD. I couldn't ask for anything more).

The day of our wedding was insanely perfect. Adrienne, our coordinator, handled EVERYTHING. They ensured I got fed, that everything ran on time. It was an incredibly beautiful day, and I was completely able to focus on having fun and enjoying my wedding -- not worrying about anything because the Inn took care of it.

My guests all couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the inn and the ballroom was and how incredible the food was. No one left hungry and everything was absolutely delicious.

I tell everyone I can that this is best venue and I could not recommend them enough -- thank you to the Inn for making our wedding absolutely magical and letting me enjoy it!

Best day ever!

Longshore is the most beautiful place ever, especially for a wedding. The food is amazing, the view is perfect, and the staff is phenomenal, especially Adrienne. We had to postpone our wedding from May 2020 to May 2021 due to COVID. Longshore was so accommodating and more than willing to assist with whatever we needed due to the change of date. Adrienne kept us up to date and informed of the changes they were implementing to keep us and our guests safe and was always willing to go the extra mile for a request, no matter what. She was such a pleasure to work with! I cannot thank Adrienne enough as she made our wedding day the BEST day ever! They really have thought of everything when it comes to hosting a wedding and I would highly recommend Longshore!! We just love you, Adrienne.

perfect day!

Laina and the whole staff at The Inn at Longshore truly made my wedding day perfect. From my initial meeting with Christine, my experience was top-notch. Laina was so responsive, even answering emails late at night! She was also very honest and gave me great recommendations as I planned the big day. I did all the planning myself, so having a coordinator included as part of the experience was a game changer. Our wedding coordinator, Laina, was so kind and laid back, which helped keep me calm throughout the planning process. The tasting we attended was TO DIE FOR! The staff did a wonderful job making a romantic and fun dinner, even with all the Covid restrictions. Everyone was so flexible with us as details changed with the pandemic. On the day of the wedding, the staff was super responsive and helpful. They had ice, water, coffee, and tea waiting for us as we got ready. They managed all the different vendors as they arrived, so all I had to do was focus on getting ready and enjoying the big day. We got lucky with the weather and were able to have our ceremony and cocktail hour outside. The location is simply STUNNING. I never imagined I’d be able to get married in such a gorgeous setting. The cocktail hour was incredible - my guests are still talking about it being the best they have ever attended! The wood fired pizza station is INCLUDED and delicious! Our signature drinks were also delicious and refreshing - perfect for an early evening in July. Once inside for the reception, the staff had extra food for our bridal party while everyone was seated - they made sure we were well fed and had drinks all day and night. The service during the reception was outstanding and the ballroom was GORGEOUS. I can’t say enough good things about Laina and everyone at The Longshore who made our day truly picture perfect! I am sad it’s over! I wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Incredible Venue and Experience

We can't recommend The Inn at Longshore highly enough. The beautiful venue overlooking the Sound, the incredible staff, and the experience of our wedding coordinator, Adrienne, make this venue truly special.

When we first walked in as husband and wife to see our dream come alive before our eyes, the feeling was euphoric. Everyone was raving about how beautiful the venue was, and the service the entire evening was five star.

If you are looking for an amazing venue for your big day or special occasion, look no further than The Inn at Longshore and make sure to ask for Adrienne. She is truly the best there is!

Beautiful venue with the best staff

Longshore was not our original venue but they welcomed us with open arms to plan our microwedding after we had to reschedule our larger reception. From the beginning with their sales director Christine, the staff showed how professional and flexible they were. Adrienne was our event coordinator and in conjunction with our DOC she helped to execute the event flawlessly, capturing every detail we discussed leading up to the wedding. She answered all our questions and helped us talk through different decisions. The staff was so kind and accommodating no matter the need. Although our wedding guest list had been downsized they made every effort to fit the venue to our situation. When the forecast was heavy rain they transformed the main ballroom space into a beautiful ceremony area and then a reception space, reorganizing all the decor.
Finally a shout-out to the actual inn staff including Mary at the front desk as well as all the other front desk staff who accommodated us and our guests at the inn rooms from the girl that handed me tissues after happy crying during our ceremony to the gentleman who got us a pitcher of water at 2am. They too were so flexible in meeting our needs, changes, and requests. The day after breakfast was delicious! We were happy to be able to just come upstairs after the wedding and relax with our guests.
This venue is beautiful no matter the time of year or weather and the staff are just amazing. Thank you for everything you did for us, we will remember this for years to come!

The Perfect Fit

We chose The Inn for its location, waterfront views, and excellent food. The ballroom is a perfect blank canvas to create your wedding vision - not too traditional or too modern like many of the other venues we saw. Our coordinator, Laina, was very helpful every step of the way and always kept in touch with what was needed from us. The day went flawlessly with basically no intervention from us, which allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding. The food is superior to any other weddings we've been to, and our families loved the charm of the guest rooms.

Iconic Reception Venue

I always knew I wanted to hold my wedding at an iconic and historic place, and the Inn at Longshore checks all the boxes. Right on the Long Island Sound it has beautiful views, a large ballroom with high ceilings, an excellent in-house caterer, and amazing and attentive staff.

Best wedding ever

The Inn at Longshore is the ONLY place to get married. They left this anxious bride completely worry free! They provided myself and my bridesmaids w amazing attention and coordianted every last detail. I cannot sign their praises enough! Not only were they AMAZING at logistics, the food was out of this world! My guests wouldnt stop singing the praises of how good the food was!i even had one couple say it was the best cocktail hour/ passed hor d'ouerves they'd ever had at a wedding. Picture Perfect Wedding Venue and Staff!

My daughter's August wedding ceremony and reception at The Inn At Longshore was one of the most amazing experiences ever! From the moment we toured the venue to the day after the wedding, we were treated with a supreme courtesy and attention rarely seen today. Both our family and the groom's agree we had the time of our lives. Everything was perfect to a level beyond what we ever dreamed - the outside ceremony and landscaping, the venue set-up and decor, the food and drink, and the Longshore team support. We worked with Adrienne Miller, who is truly one of the most organized, talented, and professional individuals any of us have ever met. She made us feel like the world revolved around us and my daughter's wedding day. We are all sorry to end all the planning and prep because Adrienne made the entire process as well as the wedding day SO MUCH FUN. Our family and friends continue to send us messages that it was one of their best wedding experiences ever. They can not stop raving about Longshore - from its beauty to the delicious food. The Perfect 10!

I cannot begin to express the amount of love and appreciation I have for the team at Longshore Pavilion/On the Marc. Our day could not have been more perfect, and we attribute it to On the Marc. Amanda and her team were organized, meticulous, gave attention to detail and were so hospitable (our guests took note!). Amanda went above and beyond to make our day so special — she even came to work on the day of the wedding, feeling under the weather, with a huge smile on her face! Her dedication is proven. The whole team, really, was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. To top it all off, the food was INSANELY good — our guests are still raving about it! I cannot day enough good things about On the Marc! Hands down the best decision I made for this wedding — aside from saying “I do” to my husband! 😉 Special shout-out to Theresa, who was so accommodating the night of our wedding, and made sure we got a chance to eat, drink & enjoy! Incredible!

My wife & I had our wedding reception at Longshore on 4/6/2019. From the start, back in January 2018 with Christine- the process has been amazing. Closer to our date we were put in touch with Laina who was our wedding coordinator. She is unbelievably good at her job - we never really worried about anything as she was always so quick to respond not only to us, but my mother too - reassuring us and making sure everything was as we wanted it...including our weird requests. The event was executed to perfection and we couldn’t be happier. Extra points for how professional, fun, and accommodating all of the Longshore staff are and how welcomed and celebrated we felt, especially as a same sex couple. Thank you Laina and all the Longshore Staff!

From our first look at Longshore were knew it was the venue for us - it was the perfect mix of simple elegance and seaside charm that we were looking for. After falling in love with the venue itself, the menu only solidified our love for Longshore! Before even attending the tasting, we could tell the menu options were a step above your typical 'wedding food'. The tasting itself was really fun and gave us a sense of what the venue would look like set up for an actual wedding. We initially toured and worked with Christine Hussey, who was very patient with us as we customized the day for our style and budget. Thereafter, we worked with Laina, who we cannot say enough good things about! She was so responsive to our emails, so organized with all of the planning leading up to the day and had so many good ideas about things we hadn't thought of. After all of our emails and meetings, we knew would could completely trust her to bring our vision to life and she certainly did. We did not have to worry about a single thing on the day itself! Every decoration was exactly where we pictured it, every vendor was accommodated and we were NEVER without our favorite drink and favorite hors d'oeurves. The weather for our wedding day called for a complete wash out but the rain held out until cocktail hour - Laina made every effort to keep the cocktail hour outside but mother nature just had a different plan. While disappointing, we were so relieved that it had not rained all day and Laina/her team made the transition seamlessly just minutes before cocktail hour was to begin. Our guests had no idea that there was even a change in plans and they enjoyed every moment of the cocktail hour. Our guests have not stopped talking about how delicious all of the food was and the top notch service. We cannot say enough about Laina and the entire team at Longshore - they are attentive to every detail from start to finish, truly worth every penny! We could not imagine our wedding day anywhere else!

My husband and I have been married for a little over a year and I can't believe it's taken me so long to put my review up. We cannot say enough good things about the Inn at Longshore. There was a lot of back and forth leading up to the big day and my husband and I went for a little more unconventional event (for the venue) - however, it was never stressful and we got an unforgettable experience. We went with highly customized stations during the cocktail hour and the reception for a Sunday daytime wedding. Absolutely amazing. Our guests still talk about how good the food was. Everyone on the staff from when we first went to tour the venue to after the wedding was so attentive and caring.

We got married at The Inn at Longshore this past Memorial Day. Words truly cannot begin to describe how magical our day was, which was in large part due to The Inn. From each and every staff member, to sales associate and coordinator along the way, everyone went completely above and beyond our wildest expectations. Adrienne, our event coordinator, was absolutely phenomenal. She not only answered our thousands of questions, but made us feel so special and not like we were just another wedding. Last but not least... THE FOOD. Wow. Our guests are still commenting to this day on how incredible the food was all night long. The passed hors d'oeuvres to the donut wall.. all delicious. We cannot thank The Inn enough for making our wedding day perfect.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect and I am SO happy that we chose the Inn at Longshore. Not only is the venue itself absolutely stunning and the food delicious but the staff there is what makes this place so special. From our very first meeting with Christine she made us feel very comfortable and was quick to respond to our many follow up questions. Our coordinator Adrienne was an absolute rock star the entire process. Not a single detail went missed, and I was able to soak in the day and enjoy it without having to worry about anything going wrong. It’s not just that she’s a great professional with a lot of experience, but she also genuinely cares about her couples and won’t stop until everything is right. We even threw in a couple of unconventional details (a processional song where the timing needed to be perfect, and we had a surprise entrance where we got on the stage to play drums and guitar), and thanks to Adrienne we pulled it all off beautifully. Eddie and Nicole and everyone else there helped to make the night go so smoothly too. I 100% recommend the Inn at Longshore to anyone getting married.

The Inn at Longshore is the perfect spot for a beautiful New England wedding and the wedding coordinator there, Adrienne, is the absolute best!! She is the most organized, responsive, and cheerful person which gave me such a peace of mind while planning the wedding from the west coast! She truly has this calming effect, and my husband and I knew we were in great hands every step of the way. Really all of the staff at Longshore are incredible, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how wonderful our wedding was. One guest said it was the best cocktail hour he's ever been to. From the delicious food, to the beautiful grounds outside, and the attentive & super friendly staff, we are so incredibly happy we had our wedding here! Swoon...the BEST!!

Our wedding at the Inn at Longshore was simply perfect. The venue itself is breathtaking, the food is incredible, and the service is second to none. It has been almost 3 weeks since our wedding and my husband and I still smile ear to ear thinking about how perfect the day was. Our guests cannot stop gushing about the location, food, and service. Laina, Eddie, and Nicole made the day run so smoothly. Everyone always tells you something will go wrong on your wedding day, so we prepared ourselves for that and literally EVERYTHING was perfect. Laina, Eddie, and Nicole did such a great job ensuring we ate, drank, and were where we needed to be. We look back on our wedding day and are in awe of how special it was- and the staff was a big part of that. We only wish we could do it all again and relive that magic. I recommend the Inn to anyone looking for a stunning backdrop, the most delicious food (everything from the insanely good apps, to the entrees, and the ice cream sundae bar), and the best wedding coordinators in the business. Thinking of our wedding day at Longshore brings tears of joy to my eyes!! We had the absolute best day of our lives and it was all due to the organization of the venue and their amazing team. From start to finish, our coordinator Adrienne made our "Seaside Glam" vision come true. Longshore lays out all details for every aspect of the wedding so clearly that it leaves no room for questions. I went into our detail meeting with a list of 30 questions and by the end of the meeting Adrienne had answered every one without knowing what they were initially. It truly made my husband, parents and I feel calm and collected as the wedding came closer. We received so many compliments on the location of the beautiful outdoor ceremony and the quality of the food and raw bar at cocktail hour and dinner. There was never a line at the bar either! The Longshore team and Adrienne set up all of our decor exactly as we had envisioned...from outdoor signage to lawn games, lantern centerpieces, plate chargers, candles, table numbers, escort cards, bathroom baskets and even a Paddleboard outside. Every time that we visited The Inn prior to our wedding, we were treated like part of a family there. True VIPS. From the moment we looked at The Inn at Longshore and met with Christine, she so professional and we could tell "knew her stuff" --- we knew that we had to lock down our date immediately. On the wedding day Adrienne, Eddie, Christine, Takia and Mary all helped as a team. When my Glam Team got stuck on the highway, Takia, Mary and Christine kept me calm and tried to call other salons to come in ASAP. Our Bridal Party was HUGE and Adrienne kept everyone on track for the ceremony and dancing entrances like a champ! Through our wedding night, Eddie was there keeping to the timeline and making sure we ate and had drinks. Dan and I got married at the Inn at Longshore on Friday August 18, 2017. We truly feel it was the most special day! Our wedding coordinator Laina, our maître d' Eddie, and the entire staff at the Inn provided exceptional service to my husband and I, and our guests. Laina helped make our special day perfect. Eddie made certain the night ran smoothly for Dan and I as well as our guests, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire evening. We received such wonderful feedback from our guests, many saying that is was the best wedding they had ever experienced! We would get married here again in a heartbeat if we could lol. We strongly recommend booking your wedding here!! The Inn at Longshore goes above and beyond in every category. While we fell in love with the interior of the venue (the New England charm, historic beauty, and architecture), we also absolutely loved the outdoor space and wanted to have our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour outside. Of course, on our wedding day, it poured all day! As an anxious bride, I had given up hope that we would have any of the ceremony or cocktail hour outside. Laina stayed positive throughout the hours leading up to the ceremony, checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and also saying she will make every effort to give us an outdoor ceremony weather permitting. Well, Laina stayed true to her word! 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, the weather cleared! Dan and I are forever grateful that Laina and the staff at the Inn at Longshore were so willing to move things at the very last minute, and give us our fairytale outdoor ceremony! So bottom line, even if you do not get a perfect weather day at the Inn at Longshore, the staff will still make it the best, most beautiful and perfect day ever for you and your guests. I loved having my wedding at the Inn at Longshore! Their space is beautiful and afforded us an outdoor/indoor experience on one of the nicest days of the summer. Chef Max put together an amazing brunch menu for us, complete with omelette and pancake stations, bringing our vision to life! Adrienne, our on-site wedding coordinator, was extremely responsive, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the planning process and she was there for me for the whole wedding day, too. The rest of the staff members at Longshore were also incredibly attentive - it felt like everywhere I went that day there was someone waiting for me to help me maneuver my dress, tell me where to go, or ask if I needed anything. The best features of The Inn at Longshore in my opinion are that the facility is beautiful and clean, the staff is professional, they give complimentary wedding coordination which makes the day run smoothly, and OnTheMarc's menus are innovative and delicious. When I first started wedding planning, I was focused on finding a venue that wouldn't feel cookie-cutter; I wanted something that would be authentic and fresh. The Inn at Longshore delivered the ambience and feel I wanted and made it very personal for me and my husband. I couldn't be happier!

My husband and I had our reception at The Inn at Longshore this past July, and we are so glad we did! Everything -- from the service to our AMAZING wedding coordinator, Julia -- was wonderful! Everyone was professional, helpful, and so accommodating. My bridesmaids and I had our hair/makeup done at the Inn Sunday morning (the morning of our wedding) and the staff (especially Takeya!!) was always one step ahead of us. The venue itself was spotless and the view was spectacular. The food was unbelievable! All of our guests raved about it, and still do! We could not have asked for a more perfect day! I wish we could celebrate all over again! I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!

My husband and I had our reception here on 8.19.16 and could not have been happier with the whole experience! We ended up picking a Friday which was a cheaper option. Not originally my first choice but it ended up making so much sense and worked out well, plus you get 2 days post wedding to enjoy if you aren't going on your honeymoon immediately. Laina was our coordinator and she was so helpful! I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was understanding and helpful it made the whole process so much easier. The cocktail hour was amazing, if you have good weather the location is a dream. The food was some of the best we ever had. People are still raving about it! I could go on and on about the entire day and how perfect it was. I wish we could experience that day again I wouldn't change a thing!

There are no words that describe what an amazing venue this is for a wedding! Not only was the view breathtaking from the lawn and the ballroom gorgeous but the staff made the day perfect. Laina and her team which included Adiranne, Eddie and Melissa were unbelievably attentive and took care of me and my groom the whole night. We didn't have to worry about a thing. All of my hard work planning the day came together beautifully thanks to the OnTheMarc team. Every wedding is judged on a few key things and besides the venue and band, the food is extremely important. OnTheMarc did not let down...everyone raved about the moist and flavorful Halibut and the tender and perfectly seasoned filet. The passed desserts were a hit as well especially the smores and chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches. My husband and I were so thrilled to have our wedding at The Inn at Longshore and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an elegant, unforgettable wedding on the coastline of Southern CT.

The Inn at Longshore staff was the absolute best! I had Laina as my wedding coordinator and she could not have been more helpful. On the day of, we felt like royalty. The staff made sure that we had everything we needed all night. All of my guests raved about the food and the service. They said it was one of the best weddings they had been to. The pictures that we got by the water were incredible. Plus the free bridal suite you get for the night of the wedding was great. I would highly recommend having your wedding here.

BOOK THIS VENUE!!! This place was absolutely incredible. The people were kind, considerate, and helpful and clearly worked very hard to make our day perfect. The location is beautiful - that's obvious from the pictures - but what you also NEED to know is the people are great, the food is perfection, the Inn is so warm and friendly it feels like you're at home, and BONUS if you want some sort of after party, you can try to work something out with the owner of the restaurant right NEXT DOOR. I know you only get married once, but if I had the money to marry my husband a million times, I'd do it here every time.

Booking the Inn at Longshore for our wedding venue was by far the best decision we made! I cannot say enough good things about the venue, location, employees, food, drinks, service, etc!! Our friends and family were raving about every last detail that this venue provided. Our wedding coordinator, Laina, was without a doubt what made our wedding day go so smooth. From answering my weekly annoying emails to dealing with unexpected transportation issues on the day of, Laina gave me faith and reassurance that our big day would be perfect. Our May 21, 2016 wedding at Longshore was a dream come true.

First, the place: A quaint, historic inn on a breathtaking property on the Long Island sound. It's a classic New England setting with all of the finer details you would expect from a top NYC venue.

Then, the people: The Longshore team is the definition of professionalism and class, and not one of them misses a beat. From day one, Laina (our coordinator) handled every question and concern with grace and ease. There are a ton of other behind-the-scenes people like Eddie, Christine, and Mary at the front desk, all of whom made my husband and me (not to mention our guests) feel so special and welcome.

Honorable mentions:
- Don't be deterred by a date with two events! There was a bar mitzvah immediately prior to our wedding reception, but I would have NEVER known if they hadn't told me. The space was flawless and everything was ready for us.

- The food, oh, the food! On the Marc events did not disappoint. Our guests were raving all night. From the pizza station and the mini lobster rolls to the passed desserts and coffee/cordial bar, there was indulgence at every turn. Laina even ensured that John and I had plenty to eat, hand-delivering some hors d'oeuvres before we entered our cocktail hour and flagging us down when dinner was served.

- The Pearl was a great spot for an after party next door, and they let us shut down the place. :)

- I was so appreciative to the team for having our cocktail hour outdoors, even though the danger of rain loomed the evening. The photos are priceless!

- Magic just happens at Longshore. It's like a whole team of elves are there making things go perfectly and smoothly, down to packing up your cake and props and having them waiting for you in the morning.

THANK YOU Longshore for, without a doubt, the best day of our lives. We hope to be back soon!!

We were married at the Inn at Longshore on April 15, 2016 and the experience was nothing short than absolutely perfect. My mom and I first met Christine (Sales Director) in the late Fall to tour the space and I immediately knew this was the place. She answered all of our questions and put us at ease - especially since we were going to be planning a wedding in only 5 months! Our first introduction to Laina and Max was at our private tasting and my fiance and I left feeling very excited and very full. The food, presentation and open communication were outstanding. We really felt part of the menu planning and the courses were fresh and original. We had an issue leading up to the wedding with an external party rental company which could have been a slight disaster but I barely registered any anxiety because Laina and Eddie were the ultimate problem-solvers and made the end result better than the original plan. The day of the wedding was a DREAM. I still can’t believe how amazing it all was. My mom and I spent the night before at the Inn and woke up to a sunny day and enjoyed breakfast and a cup of coffee in the cozy cafe downstairs before the events of the day kicked in. Laina and Eddie were absolute professionals and made the day so easy and so enjoyable. One of my favorite memories of the wedding day is taking a few minutes to just chat with Laina and express how happy we were to work with her. Our guests have not stopped raving about the beautiful location, the food (Mini lobster rolls! Short rib! Warm chocolate chip cookies!) and the service (Everyone was served at the same time and every dish was perfectly cooked and served warm. Looking at the waiters descend in from the kitchen was like looking at a scene from a Disney movie, they were so in sync!). My husband and I are still on Cloud 9 and our families would live this experience over and over again without changing a thing. You will not go wrong having your wedding here!

Nothing makes a bride happier than hearing the words "best wedding ever!" from her guests. I cannot say enough about how amazing our wedding was at The Inn at Longshore. The staff there is fantastic; they are super responsive, and they were a pleasure to work with from our first meeting to the close of the reception. We were lucky to have a beautiful fall day, and the pictures I have seen so far are gorgeous - what a background! I have heard nothing but positive feedback from guests about just how lovely the venue was in general, but also guests were raving about the cocktail hour and the excellent service in particular. I heard from a ton of people how impressive the cocktail hour was. The passed hors d'oeuvres were high quality, delicious, and came around frequently. Guests said they didn't have to wait for anything the entire night, and there was never a line at the bar. We loved the look of the ballroom in general for the reception, but we especially loved that there is a stage area for a band to setup. The whole day ran very smoothly from start to finish. I really could go on and on, but to sum up, I would recommend the Inn at Longshore to brides in a heartbeat. I hope I am able to attend a wedding there one day so I can eat more food :-)

We selected the Inn at Longshore almost 15 months in advance of our wedding on a rainy day in March. It didn't matter that the weather was poor when we toured the Inn because this venue has that CT shoreline charm inside and out. I was convinced It would rain on our wedding day so this was a big factor for us - the venue needed to be beautiful rain or shine. We did luck out with a spectacular spring day which only helped to elevate our already wonderful experience. Everyone that we spoke to at Longshore when booking our wedding and the lead-up to it, Christine and Kacy, were professionals and friendly. They answered our questions so quickly and entertained a few extra in person visits from either us or my parents who lived close by (their only daughter was getting married, these things happen!) Eddie and Laina, our day of staff, were also great. They made sure we ate at cocktail hour, wrestled some lobster rolls way from our guests who couldn't stop eating them, along with all of the other delicious food.
I wish I could go back in time, skip the other 10 venues we looked at first and go straight to Longshore and go have another epic party with all the people we love!

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Inn at Longshore on NYE, and it was the most amazing day of our lives. The staff at the Inn made sure the day went perfectly from start to finish. We were met at the door with champagne in hand and from then on treated like royalty. All of our guests had the most amazing time, the food was excellent, the drinks were flowing, and the venue looked beautiful. All of the staff at the Inn worked hard to make sure our day was everything we had imagined. I highly recommend the Inn at Longshore as a venue. If I could do it again, I would chose them in a heartbeat!

We had our wedding at the Inn at Longshore and it was absolutely perfect!! The views, the ambiance, the staff and the food were all fantastic! Leading up to our wedding day, Kacy was very prompt with responding to e-mails and was always available to answer any of our questions. The day of our wedding went so smoothly thanks to our day of coordinators, Laina and Eddie. They were always right there making sure we had everything we needed. Even while we were off taking pictures, they were there asking if we wanted anything from our cocktail hour or any drinks. We got the most beautiful pictures on the Inn’s lawn. Our guests still tell us how beautiful our venue was and rave about the food. We can’t thank the staff enough for being so attentive and making all of our wedding day dreams come true!!!!

The Inn at Longshore did an amazing job for our wedding. We had our ceremony and reception there and the staff was professional friendly and attentive. Laina especially did a great job tending to all of our needs and making sure our bridal party was where they needed to be. This is a great location for anyone to have their wedding

I am so happy I chose the Inn at Longshore as my wedding venue. The team was incredible to work with. I planned the wedding from out of state and Kacy at The Inn at Longshore made my planning a breeze. She answered emails very quickly and was always in contact with me. Eddie was with us the night of the wedding and was fabulous to work with. He made our night so easy and was a pleasure to have by our side. I feel like the team at The Inn at Longshore really want the bride and groom to be present in the moment and enjoy their night. They take care of all the little things so you don't have to and really go above and beyond your expectations. They blew us away and I could not be happier with them.

I had my wedding at the Inn @ Longshore on New Years Eve and it was the most incredible night. I have not one complaint. The Inn @ longshore was spectacular and everything went perfectly. I didn't have to worry about a thing, if there was a problem I did not know anything about it. The team @ longshore was incredible, I couldn't have asked for anything more. The months leading up to the event Kacy was always available to answer my questions and extremely helpful. The day of Eddie was my event manager and he was so wonderful to work it. He took care of everything and did so effortlessly. He was extremely professional. We arrived at the venue early to take pictures and the room looked amazing thanks to the staff's hard work. The fact that the room was all set up made it easy for the bridal party to take pictures so fast and be able to attend cocktail hour. Both bars were open during cocktail hour and guests were served often and fast. The food came out steadily and everyone was happy and full. Dinner was served quick and the bar stayed opened the entire dinner which was great for my guests. I have not one complaint and can not think of one moment the entire night where I was unhappy with the service. I would recommend the Longshore for any event.

We loved having our wedding here! The staff was fabulous! They were so easy to work with, attentive and made all of our dreams come true from food and wine selection to setting up the DIY decorations I made and dropped off.

Their flexibility was wonderful and they were always informative and gave lots on resources for us.

We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! Even with the rain, the special, sea-side flare was not lost! Plus our pictures came out STUNNING with such beautiful backdrops offered by the location.

We recently had our wedding at Longshore and were so impressed with the staff and venue. The staff was very helpful from start to finish.
The good:
Casey, their event coordinator, was very responsive to my numerous inquiries
The food was great, and we had numerous people comment on how good it was from the appetizers to the served meal
Our ceremony outside was beautiful overlooking the water
The staff brought us champagne to oats with as we got ready in the bridal suite
Complimentary bridal suite to get ready in and/or stay over in after the wedding
I didn't even realize they were going to have lemonade and iced tea set out at our reception which was very nice/cute
Though they say vendors can only arrive 2 hours before the wedding they allowed mine much more time(they only had my wedding on Sunday, but they have 2 weddings per Saturday which is probably why they have this "rule")
Rooms are very spacious
The bad:
Bed in bridal suite wasn't very comfortable and could probably use an update/new mattress
The tasting only gives you limited food to taste so we weren't able to know what some dishes would taste like. And they serve the most expensive item on the menu so we ended up choosing that feeling nervous about what other items would be like. We picked the duet of filet/sea bass which was great, the chicken breast which we never tasted but seemed to be left on various guests plates- it was a huuuuuge piece of chicken so I'm not sure if it was just too much or not great? And lastly we picked the vegetarian ravioli which was also very good. All our hors d'oeuvres were good too (got a lot of positive comments about them and the food in general) but again, only picked ones we really liked at the tasting
The linens they have aren't very nice so we ended up paying for custom ones
We also paid for lighting as we didn't love the lighting as is

All in all we were very, very happy with the venue and our guests were too.

Where do I even start? This venue is amazing. From the very beginning walking onto the lawn at Longshore my husband and I knew we wanted to get married here. This place is unbelievable. Christine and Kacy were so amazing to work with. We had our ceremony outside as well as our cocktail hour. Cocktail hour was OFF the charts amazing, everyone is still raving about the food. We had our reception in the ballroom inside which was gorgeous! We had a choice of prime rib or chicken for dinner, the prime rib was the largest cut I've ever seen, our guests were blown away! As the bride and groom we were very impressed by the day of coordinators, Eddie and Laina. They were so great making sure we were able to eat and enjoy our day. Overall I wouldn't change a thing! We had a Saturday night wedding and I won't lie I was a bit nervous as there was a short amount of time for them to turnover the ballroom from the Saturday day wedding. The team at Longshore was able to pull it off amazingly, I was truly blown away. I would highly recommend this venue, I wish I could do it all over again!

Our daughter & son in law had a church ceremony in Fairfield and their wedding reception at The Inn at Longshore on 7/12/13. From our booking in March 2012, we could not have asked for a more smooth transition beginning with Christine and ending with Kacy. We lucked out with the only cool day in July at 78 degrees and low humidity. Unfortunately, it started to drizzle right before cocktail hour, therefore it had to be indoors. We were able to take pictures quickly outside then join the end of the lively cocktail hour. The reception was perfect, from the food to ambiance. Eddy and the entire staff were more than accomodating the entire evening. We were all extremely happy with our experience at The Inn at Longshore and would highly recommend to future brides.

It was an absolute pleasure working with the Inn at Longshore team. The entire process beginning to end was so high quality- we were blown away. Any details or issues I was worried about quickly became Longshore's issue- they were completely on top of every single detail! We had rain for most of the day the day of the wedding, but because they are so flexible and such pros, they were able to wait out the bad weather and set up in time so that my ceremony was absolutely beautiful and outside- with a rainbow! I didn't even have to think about it or worry. My only advice to brides would be: If you have a large wedding party and are bringing in hair/makeup people, make sure you have enough time to get ready during the day. Most of their rooms aren't ready until 2pm so you might want to consider booking a room the night before and day of to get ready in- that way you can start as early as you want. Otherwise, if you don't have a lot of people it would take less time so wouldn't even be an issue. Love Longshore- our guests raved about the food, service and view!

My husband and I got married at Longshore this past weekend. I'd always dreamed of getting married outside overlooking the water so as soon as we got engaged, I thought of Longshore. Everyone couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating throughout our planning. We sent Kacy, the Events director, a barrage of questions throughout the months leading up to our wedding and she patiently took the time to answer all of our questions every step of the way. The tasting was very fun and a great preview of our event. When it came time for the day of our wedding, the service at Longshore was extremely professional and accomodating at every step of the big day. We really wanted an outdoor ceremony and the weather was iffy. Eddie, the banquet manager, really listened to our requests and set up both indoor and outdoor alternatives so as to be the most flexible and therefore, the staff was prepped and ready for us to have the outdoor ceremony that we'd planned. Throughout the wedding night, Eddie checked in on us, getting us the food we wanted from various stations to making sure the night went smoothly. From the front desk down to the servers, everyone we encountered at Longshore could not have been more helpful. The setting was so beautiful and we are so glad we chose Longshore for our big day!

The Inn at Longshore was a special place from the start for me and my husband. We had our first date at Splash, the restaurant attached to the Inn and we got engaged there on our one year anniversary. We always knew we wanted to get married outside at the Inn. Our wedding was beautiful-we received so many compliments from our guests about the venue and the whole experience. The weather didn't look too good first thing in the morning (our ceremony was 11:30am) and the staff was so patient about waiting to make the final decision as to whether we could have our ceremony outside. It ended up clearing up and our ceremony and cocktail hour were outside and everything was perfect. Eddie was incredible and so attentive to us the entire time. Whatever we needed, we had-right away. Kacy was very helpful and always got back to me right away with whatever questions I had prior to the wedding. Overall, I couldn't say enough wonderful things about this beautiful place!

I knew right away that I wanted to have my wedding at the Inn at Longshore after seeing it's beautiful garden area (even though we visited in the winter). Throughout our year plus of planning the staff was always very quick to respond to any inquiry. As the date approached, the staff and I were in constant contact and I felt totally comfortable that things would run smoothly day of. And they did. Because we were having a larger wedding, both matre 'ds were on hand, and I could go on forever on how wonderful they were. They were extremely attentive, professional, and even fun to be around.

The venue was a bit far for the majority of guests, and therefore, none of them had really been to the venue before. We received so many calls and texts after the wedding saying how wonderful everything was. Guests mentioned that the service was fantastic and the food was delicious, which I was very pleased to hear.

The Inn at Longshore is the best place for weddings. The grounds and facility are gorgeous with lots of character. The staff is on top of everything and the food is amazing. Everyone at my wedding raved about how great the food and service was. Kacy Fardy-Hey was an the best wedding planner and is familiar with all of the vendors in the business including local hotels and transportation companies for your out of town guests. She helped me plan every last detail! I highly recommend the Inn for your wedding. You will not be disappointed!

Inn at Longshore was a great choice for my reception! Even though it rained, the party was so great and so much fun we completely forgot about it. From the very beginning, we were impressed with the manager, Christine Hussey, who showed us around the grounds and answered our initial questions. Then, Kacy, the event coordinator, takes over for planning the details, from menu items to linen colors. She's extremely organized and responsive. The maitre d' was professional and friendly. Food was good, ambiance was great.. semiformal space without being too casual or too stuffy. They way the room is set up guarantees no bad seats or tables. You also get to sleep in the very nice bridal suite that evening. Also want to add that Longshore was very flexible with us in terms of helping us get our photos.. with the rain, we were unable to take pictures on the grounds the day of the wedding, but were able to come back a few days later to photograph. The staff was very accomodating, down to offering us water when we arrived and giving us a private area to change. We wholeheartedly endorse this venue. Books up quickly, so be sure to inquire sooner than later.. we booked about a year away, and we did not have a ton of choices for dates.

our wedding at the inn at longshore was perfect. we chose to have both our ceremony and reception at the inn at longshore because of how beautiful it is both indoors and outdoors. christine hussey and kacy fardy were excellent to work with. kacy was key in helping us plan the perfect day. we were in constant communication via email which was very helpful. she gave me some helpful recommendations in terms of vendors, food choices, etc.
the venue was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was SO professional, nice and helpful on our wedding day. we had people constantly asking us if we needed anything.
our guests commented on how smoothly the day flowed, and we didnt have to worry about a thing. eddie and the rest of the staff made sure everything went seamlessly so that my husband and i would not feel stressed! overall, a great experience!

The Inn at Longshore was a gorgeous venue for our August wedding. As a child, I sailed at the Longshore Sailing School. I always dreamed of getting married on the Inn's lawn overlooking the water.

Throughout the planning process, Christine and Kacy were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. My sister has a severe allergy, and they reassured us that it wouldn't be a problem at all. The tasting is a unique event, which allows the couples to experience Longshore's service, presentation, and food through the eyes of a guest. We loved it! It was like getting a preview of your wedding.

Eddie and staff the night of the event were very professional and did all of the thinking for us, so we could enjoy our day. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were wonderful. The food was delicious, and we received so many compliments. I highly recommend having your wedding here!

We just had our wedding at The Inn at Lonshore on Saturday, March 23. We could not be happier with how everything came together! Kacy and Christine were so easy to work with and met our requests as best they could. Eddy helped us throughout the entire affair that evening and made sure we had everything we needed. The only difficulty was that there was an event that ended only an hour and 45 minutes before our ceremony was to begin. We had to make sure with all our vendors that they were comfortable with the time allotted for delivery and setting up. Most of our vendors were able to work with the short time frame and the Inn turned the room over so quickly, I didn't have to worry about a thing! Just make sure, if you are having your wedding right after a previous event, that you make this clear to your vendors.

Guests raved about the food and drinks and the quaint coziness of this beautiful venue. The bridal suite was huge and lovely, my wedding party all got ready there. Being the end of March, we did the Winter Package and our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were all indoors. Just because this venue is most popular in the summertime, DO NOT rule out The Inn at Longshore if your wedding is in the winter/colder months. Although it was windy and cold outside, we still took lots of phots outside by the water, and they came out beautifully. In addition, with the winter package, we were able to get a great deal on the cost of our wedding. We would not have been able to afford this spectacular venue during the height of their wedding season, and the winter package was perfect for us. Everything was beautiful and we are so thrilled our wedding was at The Inn at Longshore!

Lania Mills at the venue was way beyond fabulous! Her customer service is far better than anything I could have asked for and she made my daughter and I feel that we were the only two customers she had in the world! Highly recommend the venue. We had a the greatest wedding at the Inn at Longshore in October!!! Laina is fantastic and put us at ease throughout the wedding planning process. Her and Eddie were so on point the whole wedding day so we did not have to worry about a thing and got to really relax and enjoy our wedding. Max, the chef, was also great and really listened to all our feedback from the tasting. We got so many compliments from our guests on the food and the venue. The weather didn't cooperate enough for us to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside but it was still perfect and beautiful inside! We could not have asked for anything more!

All of the people at Longshore were terrific! Kacy and Laina were responsive to every single detail I requested and were more than willing to bend and accommodate our special requests and needs (everything from menu, dietary needs and set up arrangements). The venue is gorgeous and the food was amazing! Delicious and not too big. Sometimes wedding caters will serve enormous portions that fill you and make you feel overly stuffed, but here they served you just the right amount of food, to satisfy you and leave you feeling well enough to get up and dance! My Dad is still raving about Eddie, the Maître d' and day of coordinator. He was extraordinarily attentive to every request we had and was ready with champagne after we walked down the aisle and brought us a tray of food while we were getting our pictures take during the cocktail hour. I can't say anything negative. I would love to have my my wedding here over and over again!

We had the most amazing experience at the Inn at Longshore for our reception. The weather was beautiful which helped but working with everyone was so easy and professional. Kacy was wonderful to work with in planning leading up to the day of and Eddy and Laina were our banquet managers who were exceptional. They stopped in to check with us throughout the night to make sure we were ok. Laina also brought me apps during cocktail hour during pictures which literally was the greatest most wonderful thing on the planet. The night went on without a hitch. The food was awesome and the drinks were fabulous.

I always dreamed of a beautiful outdoor wedding by the water and Longshore provided that for us. The location was perfect and we got a lot of help from the staff leading up to the day and during the ceremony and reception. It felt very private and exclusive because we were the only wedding there for the entire day. I would reccomend reserving a room to stay in to get ready in and then stay the night. The sushi table at the cocktail hour was a big hit!

We couldn't be happier that we chose to hold our wedding reception at the Inn at Longshore. It is an absolutely beautiful location but it's the service that blew us away. Kacy and Christine were wonderful to work with, incredibly responsive, reliable and professional. And Laina and Eddy were just terrific on our wedding day. I never had to look far if I needed them for anything and they were constantly checking in with both me and my husband which really impressed us. Everything exceeded our expectations and our guests were so impressed with the food, service and venue space.

There is no place more beautiful than The Inn at Longshore! Between the golf course in the front and the stunning long island sound in the back, it is perfectly situated. We knew we wanted to book there as soon as we did our tour with Christine. She knew what she was talking about and was very hands on initially. We then worked with an in-house coordinator, Julia Criscione, who was excellent. Julia was accommodating and offered her opinions only when asked or needed. She was truly a joy to work with. She helped us pick the menu, offered vendor opinions, and even was able to get rose and Bud Light (request of the groom) in special just for our wedding. Unfortunately, Julia left her position shortly before our wedding, which made me very nervous before our wedding. However, we again were in excellent hands with our new in-house coordinator, Laina Mills. I loved also working with Laina! She is smart, detail oriented, and truly listens to your vision. She made sure I had all of my dietary restrictions covered for the day as well as our delicious signature cocktail. The day-of went by perfectly. Longshore ran the wedding in the most organized and classy way I've ever seen. The staff truly make the place! Food was amazing! People still rave about the food to me, especially the mac and cheese bar. I can't thank them enough for their kindness and efficiency. What a perfect place to get married! I'd recommend it to anyone looking at a venue in CT.

I loved getting married at Longshore. I grew up attending events there and so it was very meaningful to have such a momentous personal event of my own there. The setting is obviously gorgeous and that is what initially drew us in. However, for the over a year long period from when we first visited to the day of the wedding, working with Longshore was a wonderful experience.

We were planning from across the country, so we did a lot emailing! The staff person assigned to us was VERY patient with all of my questions about every detail and always answered me promptly. They accomodated so many requests and were flexible with us. We had done our own centerpeices, so we had a lot of things to drop off and they set everything up for us. It was so nice to be able to do that and know it was taken care of.

I stayed in the guest suite the night before the wedding which was nice because I got to get ready there in the morning. We got married outside at 11:30 AM and the cocktail hour/reception was 12-5 -- I highly recommend this as it allowed everyone to enjoy the beatiful veiws of the Long Island Sound the entire time - many of our guests took breaks during the reception to go outside and sit in the adirondeck chairs.

The staff person taking care of us the day of the wedding was amazing. He was so calm and made sure everything was happening as it should and that my wife and I were well taken care of (champagne and food was available to us at all times).

I do want to mention that mine was a same sex wedding, and that that was a non-issue for Longshore. Everyone we worked with was professional and lovely and it was never a big deal or uncomfortable.

This was a beautiful spot for our ceremony! The staff was great and food was good. Only complaint is that during the cocktail hour the line for drinks was a bit long...

We absolutely had the most amazing wedding day. The day-of Inn at Longshore staff is incredible! They are professional, responsive, flexible, helpful, friendly and most importantly took care of our every need that day! The food was outstanding and service wonderful. Leading up to our wedding day was the challenge. Our sales manager, Kim was difficult to work with. She is not very accomodating and had an attitude. I am a corporate event planner, so I was very organized and was very easy to work with. I did not let her attitude get in our way and was very kind to her. The reason we put up with her attitude was because of the feedback I had from other brides that said that the day -of was outstanding and just to get through working with her! The Inn is lucky to have a fabulous staff for the day-of, because that is what brings the events to them. We were the only event on the day of our wedding but she gave our friend who made our cake a hard time about bringing it early. She said she could only come at 5pm (well that is when the ceremony started and she was apart of that). Our friend asked if she had suggestions and Kim told her to contact a bakery! Thank goodness our florist rocked and they helped out. Needless to say, I would recommend the venue for the day - of, facility and event staff. Put on a happy face and don't let Kim ruin your experience!

I loved this location for the reason it was on the water and what a spectacular view it had. I really like the women Christine and Kacy that I worked with. BUT on the day of my wedding I did not feel very loved. The waitstaff was horrible. I had a list of things I specifically wanted the day of. One was an attendent to follow me, my husband and wedding party around with Hor derves during the cocktail hour and to get drinks while pictures were being taken. One of my bridesmaids actually was getting everyone drinks and food. One of my wedding cakes had a peanut butter buttercream in it. After cutting the cake I was sure to tell two of the waitstaff as well as the matre D to ask about food allergies before serving the cake because we had people with peanut allergies. THEY DID NOT ASK ANYONE. We almost had an medical emergancy. There was no one tending to the buffet station and people were left without food on more than one occasion. My father could not get as they broke down the cocktail hour bar. My sister had to serve herself to get my fathers wine. There was no one to get a plate for me or my husband at the reception and when we finally did get a plate everything was cold. The food was very good however and I actually went up myself to get seconds (hot). The atmosphere was amazing they just really need to train their waitstaff. The scenery and pictures were worth the horrible service.
