I don't think anything went wrong, it was truly the most perfect and spectacular day of our lives. Our coordinator, Megan from The Elegant Event was to thank for how smoothly everything ran. And we gave her a big to do list because we had so many unique and untraditional things for our wedding. For instance she handled everything from messy family drama, to random games during the reception, to a bit crazy and talkative wedding party, to me and my bridal party running a bit late and huge gusts of wind. She truly was a miracle. She also seemed to just understand and get me. She could tell when I was anxious or stressed and did a great job of making everyone get in line so I didn't have to. She was such an amazing coordinator and person and we couldn't have gotten through our day without her!

Megan is very professional, and really listened to my “vision for the day”. When I had concerns that might have caused me to wake up in the middle of the night panicking😉, she calmly responded with the solution, never once making me feel silly or worried. As we approached the big day I was excited and left everything to her to execute! It was “flawless “ as far as I knew and I would definitely book her again without a hesitation. I believe her extensive knowledge is priceless!

Megan was the absolute best wedding coordinator you can ask for! She was so detailed oriented, offered so much advice before the wedding and even took time out of her weekend to come tour our venue and do a final walk through with us. Finally wedding weekend came around and we got hit by an unexpected hurricane! Megan did not step down from this, her and her team still arrived to the wedding venue on time through roads being blocked and heavy rain. There was so many things that did not go to plan due to the hurricane wiping out the power at the venue, needing to find generators, finishing final touches, to the caterer arriving late. She handled our day with ease snd took charge making sure that it was still a magical day during a hurricane without adding stress to us! We can’t thank Megan enough and highly recommend her!

We hired Megan for the day of services and she was just wonderful. Although she was only hired for that day, she was open for questions throughout my planning process and very easy to get ahold of. Hurricane Helene cancelled our wedding plans in Boone, NC and had to move the entire thing to Winston-Salem last minute. Megan was easily willing to change plans and join us in Winston-Salem. She was incredibly professional the entire time. The rehearsal went off without a hitch and the entire wedding day was so seamless. If there were any issues throughout the day, I had no idea! Megan handled everything, so that I didn’t have to. So easy to talk to and bounce ideas off of. Most definitely would recommend!

Megan was the best wedding planner! Everything was just what we wanted and dreamed it would be! Megan was always available and responded in a timely manner.
She was able to guide us in selecting the best vendors which was extremely important since we live out of state. Megan coordinated meetings via zoom and in person when we were able to travel to NC. With her expertise she was able to make suggestions for the wedding and reception. Megan was professional and made sure every vendor knew their responsibilities and timeline for their activities. She oversaw every vendor and made sure everything was delivered on time and then made sure everything was returned and put away at the venue. Megan was at the rehearsal, wedding and reception from start to finish. Once the day of rehearsal came she took charge and made sure everything was coordinated and timely.

Wedding day was relaxing - seriously!! and beautiful - things ran like a top. Megan and team even bustled Cassie's dress for cocktail hour and reception (who knows where I was).
