We hired Kaytlyn as our day of coordinator and she was an absolute dream to work with. She went above and beyond and I would recommend her to anyone getting married. Everything about our day was exactly like I pictured it in my head and that is in large part due to her. I couldn't have made a better choice choosing her!!

I cannot recommend Kaytlyn with White Oak Events enough. She’s not only fun and personable and truly a joy to work with, she’s also extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and had excellent recommendations for local vendors (they were all amazing!). As I was in a master’s program at the time, I had to lean heavily on Kaytlyn for just about everything and she handled it all flawlessly. She even went above and beyond several times and helped me figure out how to have live butterflies at cocktail hour, (which were a hit and turned out beautifully!). Kaytylyn also did an amazing job of keeping me informed and on track with the budget and timelines without making me feel stressed. She was hands down one of the best investments we made for our wedding!

Kaytlyn made planning my wedding a million times smoother and way less stressful. She is extremely professional and took huge burdens and anxieties off of me! I have already recommended her to newly engaged friends. She is great at checking in with you leading up to your event and making sure all the little things are taken care of in a controlled, competent manner! She addressed my questions very quickly throughout this process. Almost all of my other vendors were recommendations made by her, and we had the wedding of our dreams! I cannot recommend White Oak Event Co. highly enough. Most of all, she knows you have never done this before and is extremely patient. She takes her time explaining processes, and I fully trusted her opinions. My husband and I live in TN, and she was wonderful with her suggestions on vendors such as local caterers, DJ, bartender, hotels, etc.! She truly makes sure your day is exactly what you want. If I had to do it again, rehiring WOEC would be the first thing I do!

Kaytlyn is the best wedding planner / coordinator in the high country. We began with monthly 20-30 minute phone calls to help coordinate our big day! She suggested wonderful local vendors from florists to DJs to transportation companies to bartenders and caterers. She kept us on track throughout the year through an organized planning checklist and answered all of our questions about the wedding planning process. 30 days out we discussed our day of timeline in extensive detail. She took over communications with our vendors and helped coordinate final payments. Weekend of she organized a last minute rain plan (which we luckily did not have to use) and she made the weekend completely effortless. Our wedding weekend went shockingly perfect - from the timeline of the day to the fun had along the way. Kaytlyn did everything with a smile, eased my anxieties throughout the planning process, and executed everything flawlessly. We highly recommend White Oak for your Appalachian wedding.

Could not recommend White Oak Events Co enough. I was able to work with both Kaytlyn and Jessica. Both went above and beyond. Kaytlyn came for my rehearsal dinner and she was there first & made sure we ran things, arranged things, as many times as i needed to feel good. Jessica - was my girl through the whole thing. I paid just for day of coordination - but Jessica committed to meeting with me monthly and then (weekly during wedding month) to check in on my vendor management as well as offer any consultatation/support that I needed. Then day of - Jessica was a godsend. She arrived before I did, arranged EVERYTHING, made sure everyone got paid, checked on me throughout the day, and really made sure I was able to soak up this perfect day. Not to mention she made sure I had a drink ready when I walked back down the aisle. She was a silent shadow - she was there when I needed her but she wasn't ever in anyone's way. You're supposed to enjoy the entire wedding day - and because of them I was able to. You will not regret hiring them.

We couldn't of done it without her. She made sure the day went smoothly & we were taken care of. She was always readily available (during & prior to the wedding) to assist with any questions. Kaytlyn from White Oak Events is the best investment my husband and I made for our wedding. As an out of state bride with both my husband and I both in a doctoral program and working, Kaytlyn was absolutely essential to our perfectly planned & choreographed wedding. Kaytlyn is a professional and handled every hiccup and challenge thrown our way with grace, patience, and a solution. She put us both at ease with her knowledge of the wedding industry and local vendors as well as made us laugh even when we felt like things were chaotic (especially in those final 30 days). If you are not local to North Carolina please know that you are in excellent hands with Kaytlyn. She’s a great communicator and accommodated our busy schedules even though we were several states away. I never felt lost in the wedding process because she was there to remind us of all the important things (how to book an appointment for a marriage license, how to get an alcohol license, where to go for nails/makeup, etc) and the small ones. In addition to all of the above, Kaytlyn went above and beyond when I gave her our budget and she managed to get us great quality vendors at our budget or lower so she also managed to save us so much money! Did I mention that she also set up and brought a beautifully renovated rose gold teardrop trailer Photo Booth to our wedding, at no additional charge? It was a huge hit with our guests and I cannot state enough that every penny we invested into White Oak Events and Kaytlyn’s services was the best investment we made for our wedding.

Kaytlyn is so incredible at what she does! She is super knowledgeable and detail oriented! She thinks of everything, works so hard to make your day runs smoothly while making sure your guests and you are taken care of! If you are looking for an event planner, look no further! We are so grateful and happy that we hired Kaytlyn to plan our wedding! We chose the partial plan package because we don’t live in the area and had a lot going on in our lives throughout the wedding process (two job changes, grad school, etc.). It was more than worth it. Within the first month or two we had nearly all of our vendors chosen and booked because Kaytlyn knew exactly who to call to make our day perfect. There were few moments where we felt stressed about our wedding because Kaytlyn reassured us everything would be handled for us. Every time I asked her a question she would get back to me within minutes and have a solution and a plan. We can’t recommend her enough to help in planning your special day as well. She’s friendly, organized, professional, and will just make you feel at ease that this will be the day you dreamed of. It was for us. Hire her!
