This venue is convienently located between Brenham and Burton, Texas, approximately 60 minutes from Houston and Austin and 35 minutes to College Station. There are plenty of nearby hotels and bed and breakfast for overnight stays for you and your guest.
Facilities and Capacity
We can accommodate up to 180 guests.The property features a refinished 150-year-old barn as a backdrop for outdoor ceremony site and the new conditioned 3600 sf solid wood barn is the indoor wedding and reception facility. The new event barn at this property features high beam ceilings and chandeliers, perfect for a country chic wedding ceremony or reception. Couples can also have an outdoor reception on the property near the lavender fields as a beautiful backdrop. The lavender fields and 52-foot-long covered bridge make for plenty of picturesque photo locations on the property for couples on their wedding day or even for an engagement session. There are also massive oak trees, a rock creek with a waterfall, and a large fire pit. The facility welcomes couples celebrating any wedding-related event, including engagement parties, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinners, in addition to wedding-day events.
This venue works with couples to make their wedding day worry-free and unforgettable. There are bride and grooms quarters on the property for couples and their parties to get ready, and plenty of scenic locations for photographs before or after a ceremony. Couples will find assistance with set up and clean up, and an day of coordinator through the venue will help couples with their day-of coordination. The venue provides chairs and tables that couples may use on their wedding day. Couples and guests will find onsite parking, and couples may choose their own outside approved vendors for the wedding except for the bartending services.
The Barn at Lacey Farms is owned by Fred and Shannon Lacey. They bought the property in December of 2014 and planted their first lavender in the Spring of 2015. It was the engagement of their daughter Jennifer that inspired the couple to go into the joint lavender farm and wedding business and had their first wedding on the property in 2017.
