My daughters wedding at Arrowhead hill was perfect! The venue itself is breathtaking nestled among vast rolling hills, beautiful trees and ponds. We received many remarks about how beautiful the venue is. We used Walters Wedding for catering, bar, signature drinks and their package for florals, photography, invitations/signage, DJ with photobooth, cake etc. All of the vendors were excellent! Mary Kate was did a great job with planning our wedding and Melinda was exceptional at execution on the day of. We did alot of DIY decor in order to save money and not incur the 21 percent overhead. I highly recommend doing that if you are able. We booked all 10 cottages for the rehearsal dinner evening and for the wedding night. We partied at the beautiful pavilion by the pond until the wee hours of the morning both nights and just had a blast the whole time. I can't say enough about what a great venue!

Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of with the dream team of vendors at Arrowhead Hill. Anna Kate was amazing from beginning to end through all of the planning and making our day seamless. We are so thankful.

My daughter's wedding at Arrowhead Hill could not have been more amazing! The venue is absolutely beautiful. The sunset was an added extra. The cottages on site were perfect. We used all ten of them. They made it so easy for family guests and they are so nice that everyone wanted to stay longer! Anna Kate, our coordinator, was so helpful and with us every step of the way. So many of our guests have called to tell me "BEST WEDDING EVER!".

This is the BEST wedding venue! All my guests talked about how amazing it was and my family got to stay on the cottages onsite (game changer!) Anna Kate was amazing and made sure everything went perfect!

My fiancé and I are getting married here in a couple of weeks. The venue is spectacular and has a chapel, giant cocktail hour tent and reception hall. The bride and groom suites are amazing and our coordinator Anna has been outstanding with all of her help.

There are not enough positive things that I could say about Arrowhead Hill. This venue is stunning and provides the best overall wedding weekend experience of any venue in the Houston area. My husband and I were in a unique position where basically all of our wedding guests would be travelling from out of state--including our wedding party. So we knew that weekend accommodations were very important to us. Arrowhead Hill has the perfect answer for that--the cottages! The cottages are fabulous and the perfect accommodation for wedding party/family to ensure the best wedding weekend.

The venue has so much to offer. Between the chapel, the gathering, and the tent-covered lawn area, there is so much flexibility in the planning process to make your event your own. We used the chapel for the ceremony, the tent-covered lawn for cocktail hour, and the gathering for our reception, and it was just perfect. And despite having a late August wedding date, the cocktail hour was not too hot for our guests thanks to the tent and the surprisingly refreshing breeze in the evenings.

For my husband and I and our families, we got more compliments on the venue than anything else. I cannot tell you how many people approached us saying that this was the most impressive wedding venue they have ever seen. It truly is a stunner, and pictures don't even do it justice.

Finally, and probably most importantly, the owners/family that run the show at AHH are the best people and the kind of people you hope you're lucky enough to go through the wedding planning process with. Donna and her family are so genuine, and they truly want all of their couples to have the best experience. Wedding planning certainly can be stressful, but there is no reason that you shouldnt enjoy the wedding planning process, and working with people like Donna made it so enjoyable for myself and my family. We cannot recommend this venue enough. Truly our fairytale day.

Everything detail has been thoroughly thought out by these amazing owners. Arrowhead Hill is literal perfection. The cottages onsite allowed for out of town guests and the wedding party to all stay at the venue. We wanted something pet friendly, and didn't think we would have found such perfection. Would choose Arrowhead again and again if I had to pick again.

I wish I could give this place zero stars! Arrowhead Hill used to be an absolute gem under the previous owner, but since it's been sold to a faceless corporation, it has turned into a nightmare. We had booked this venue for our wedding, with 50 out-of-town guests staying in the on-site cottages. Our experience was beyond disappointing.
When we arrived on Friday, there was no venue staff to assist us in getting settled. To add to the chaos, there was no toilet paper in the facilities, we couldn't figure out how to turn on the outside lights, and the air conditioner was malfunctioning in several rooms. Attempts to contact the venue went unanswered.
Our wedding day arrived, and still, we had received zero communication from the venue staff. Our wedding coordinator from My Event Angels, who deserves all the praise, had to handle everything on her own. We were in a state of panic as our wedding was scheduled to start at 5 pm, and we had no idea how to fix the air conditioner, and still, NO STAFF was in sight! The venue staff finally showed up at 3 pm, just two hours before the ceremony, leaving us high and dry.
We did manage to salvage some joy from our day, thanks to our 140 out-of-town guests who joined us, but Arrowhead Hill's staff managed to ruin the experience. At 11:28 pm, they confronted my daughter about the bridal suite being a mess and threatened to charge us for cleaning. How on earth were we supposed to clean it amidst a morning of preparations, a ceremony, a reception, and saying goodbye to our guests?
To top it off, the bar was abruptly shut down at 10:30 pm without any notice of last call. I had to demand they reopen it and make an announcement, which was met with a less than pleasant response from their staff.
Furthermore, I must emphasize that I had a heated argument with the manager of the staff about how they mishandled our event. It's disheartening to have to argue on the day of your wedding when you should be celebrating and enjoying every moment. The unprofessionalism and incompetence displayed by the venue staff were absolutely infuriating. Arrowhead Hill under new ownership is a far cry from the excellent experience it once offered.
But the worst part came at the end of the night. As we returned to the cottages, we heard that the police had been called, and the venue manager was trying to charge ME, the mother of the bride, with assault. I have never had any run-ins with the law and had not touched anyone. Thankfully, security footage confirmed my innocence, but it was outrageous that they would attempt such false accusations. The police told her several times “she did not assault you.” How does this corporation allow someone who lies about something so serious that can ruin someones life be part of their company? What kind of person lies about something like this?
The venue staff also tried to exaggerate damages, claiming we were intentionally breaking wine glasses, which was completely untrue. I have video footage showing that a glass fell accidentally during dancing.
The only bright spot in this ordeal was Lisa from My Event Angels, who stood by my side throughout the chaos. I couldn't be more grateful for her support.
Arrowhead Hill has turned into an absolute disaster under new ownership, and I would never recommend it to anyone. If the previous owners were still in charge, I'd say go for it, but this new management has ruined what should have been a beautiful event. A truly sad way to end an otherwise amazing occasion!
