The lodge at mound creek was everything we hoped for in a venue. It’s absolutely gorgeous inside with the abundance of dark wood and greenery. They had sooo many things already included in using their venue that I didn’t have to purchase separately. Large wood cookies for centerpieces and the cake. Lanterns in various colors including electric candles. Signs, card box, greenery. Easels, welcome & unplugged ceremony signs. The vendors for bartending, catering, dj and Elizabeth Mize the coordinator were all absolutely phenomenal and helped us bring our dark fairytale wedding to life! Absolutely loved this venue!!

The Best Day of Our Lives—Thank You Lodge at Mound Creek!
I want to give a huge thank you to The Lodge at Mound Creek for giving us the most amazing wedding day we could have ever dreamed of. It was truly the best day of mine and my husband's lives. From the wedding coordinator (thank you, Amy!) to Katie who handled our contract, and every vendor they recommended—everyone was incredibly responsive and worked with us to accommodate every request.
On top of that, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. My husband and I fell in love with it from the first visit. Even with a storm rolling through the Friday before, our wedding day was perfect—beautiful weather, low humidity, and not too hot for early May in southeast Texas.
They even went above and beyond after our wedding day by allowing me to come back to the venue to take some bridal portraits. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will cherish these memories forever.

Beautiful venue!
We had our wedding there this past weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! We looked at one venue only and we knew this was the place! First of all, Katie is wonderful (along with her mom 😀). They were also so accommodating and treated myself and family with such genuine kindness! I would 100% recommend the lodge, you will not only have a beautiful venue but you will also have Katie on your side and it doesn’t get better than that! With her talent and creativity you will have the perfect day. My husband and I will always look back and know that we made the best decision we could have getting married here!

Absolutely Breathtaking
The Lodge at Mound Creek was even better than I imagined. Katie was a dream to work with - she always made sure my endless questions were answered, she included finishing touches and extras and she was always so kind and helpful. The venue is SO beautiful. The cabin-style was exactly what I was looking for. It was so warm and comforting. The details for the day-of were perfect. Everything was setup on time and there was always someone there to ask questions. They were more than accomodating and all of my guests were raving about this hidden gem! Cannot recommend this venue enough!

What can I say? I was the first person to sign on with them, with nothing but an unfinished building in construction and a kind family who made me feel at home. Katie helped me envision the space and after months of constant updating and visiting, the venue is much much more than just a venue to me. It is a place that I saw blossom before my eyes and where I had one of the happiest moments of my life. I owe my entire wedding to Katie, she was there for me through it all and if it wasn’t for her, my dream come true wouldn’t have happened! The Lodge at Mound Creek isn’t just a wedding venue, but it has so much character and story behind it. My husband and I will cherish the venue and the people who own and manage it FOREVER ❤️
