Not only is the Taubman one of the best places to visit in Downtown Roanoke, but they hosted the reception for our wedding, and it was PHENOMENAL. So many of our guests have said how beautiful the reception was, and I know it was due to the gorgeous space. They kept the second-floor galleries open during the cocktail hour, so the guests had a chance to look at some of the wonderful art on display. The reception was incredible! The entire staff were friendly and helpful, and in particular, Carley Beckner was such a pleasure to work with. Thank you to everyone! Five stars.

Extraordinary venue, Extraordinary service!
My son and his wife were the first wedding of the 2020 year at the Taubman Museum of Art. After 18 months of helping the happy couple plan, organize, and execute the event, I can't say enough great things about our experience with this venue. Carley, the Event Planner for the Museum, could not have been more considerate, caring, and responsive throughout the process. She guided them (and their bridal party) through the rehearsal, patiently handled many phone calls and emails, and was present throughout the process, including ensuring the wedding and reception themselves went off without a hitch. The night of, the museum was stunning, and the extensive coordination between the Taubman and their preferred caterer, Blue Ridge Catering, was in evidence throughout. Everything was stunning! This was an experience I would happily go through again because of the service and care received throughout the process and the day of the wedding. Thank you so very much!

Taubman Museum
We recently had our wedding and reception at the Taubman Museum and while we are obviously biased, we thought it was one of the most beautiful weddings we have ever seen. The stone staircase makes for an amazing ceremony backdrop and a grand entrance for the bride and wedding party / couple. We left the second floor gallery open as a secondary and unique form of entertainment for our guests. The third floor balcony allows for some great views and photos of downtown Roanoke and the mountains. The service and flexibility we received was top notch, which included several modifications to the overall wedding plans due to COVID. We highly recommend this beautiful venue.
