We had our ceremony at the Taubman Museum of Art and it was absolutely gorgeous. We loved the stone wall, the long staircase, the light coming in through all the windows - it was just perfect. In addition to all that, Whitney was hands down the best person to work with. She was super responsive to any questions I had and didn't mind me email her a bajillion times in a row. The girls and I got ready on the third floor - we had mimosas, brought in Benny's for lunch, and took pictures out on the balcony. Whitney and Jackie were absolute professionals and made the entire day super easy and stress-free. I would definitely recommend the Taubman to anyone wanting to get married in downtown Roanoke.

She was engaged, polite, and kind in all her interactions with the vendors while advocating for us at every turn.

Whitney worked seamlessly with Blue Ridge Catering and Lighting Ninja, creating a team effort that ensured every tiny detail came together beautifully. Her flexibility and communication with her team are unmatched.

Using The Taubman as our venue came with so many additional benefits. The location in downtown Roanoke made everything convenient for us and our guests. There are amazing restaurants nearby for rehearsal dinners, lodging options within walking distance, and it made the entire weekend so easy to navigate. The Hampton Inn’s corner room, with its balcony view of the museum, was such a cool and unique feature for our stay. Parking for the venue is easy, and our after-party at the Hotel Roanoke was the perfect way to wrap up the celebration.

My (now) husband and I were married at the Taubman Museum of Art on 11/23/2024 and I don't think it could have been any better than it was. We booked two years out due to a long engagement, and Whitney made everything smooth sailing the whole way through. The venue itself is an amazing price for the value you get, and it's just a stunning place to host such a special event. Through the museum, we worked with Blue Ridge Catering as that is the designated caterer for the museum. Although pricey, I can't tell you how insanely worth it that it really is. Our guests raved about the food (the mashed potatoes are nuts) and drinks, and just how beautiful the museum was.

I can't recommend the Taubman more, and the city of Roanoke is the cutest little place during the November-December time of year with all of the decorations, small business boutiques and bookstores, and delicious restaurants. Whitney and Ms. Jackie, thank you for everything. You made my wedding the most perfect day I could have imagined!
