Words cannot describe how wonderful Josie and her team have been (and continue to be) for us. Our original "big" wedding was cancelled due to COVID, and we completely changed our plans for something smaller and safer for our guests; when I say Josie has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations, it's because those are the strongest words I can think to use, but they still don't do her justice. We booked Sterling Events with a very small deposit (in comparison to other catering companies), but Josie treats us as if we're her only clients anyway. We weren't able to join any tastings because of COVID, so she offered to prepare take-home meals for us to try so we would feel comfortable booking her team. When we cancelled our big wedding plans due to COVID, we should've had to forfeit our entire deposit, but instead, Josie saved the day and is allowing us to use that money toward a to-go order for our (much smaller) guest count. Keep in mind, when we booked the caterer with our meager deposit, that was with the intention of spending more money down the road, and now with our scaled-down plans, we're spending much less than originally planned, and STILL Josie continues to help and amaze us at every turn. As if this weren't enough, she offered to DELIVER the food to our new wedding location, free of charge, simply to make this 2020 wedding planning journey a little less stressful on us. She didn't have to do any of these things, and we have been absolutely blown away by her continued kindness and will be forever grateful to her. She has even helped me when I was stressed about totally unrelated pieces of the wedding planning process. Josie truly is a blessing to work with, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her team.
Side note, in case you were wondering: We also got to try some of their food offerings at a venue open house, and they were delicious!!! They have sooo many options and menu choices that there's honestly something for everyone. The service we have received thus far has been beyond any measurable expectations we could've had.
In 2020, we've seen lots of statements like "we're in this together", and I can honestly say, Josie makes us feel like she really is in this with us, trying her best to make a horrible situation into a beautiful, happy day. Thank you so much, Josie!!!

Josie and her team did an amazing job on our wedding day! They had several personal touches that made our day so special. Josie was intentional in creating a personal relationship with us and showing she cared about us on our special day. The food was fantastic and the team made the room look beautiful with their table set up. They also made it such a pleasant experience for our families at clean up. I would like to thank Sterling Catering and Events for catering my wedding on 08.21.2021. Mrs. Josie her team did a fantastic job on the food and setup. My menu consisted of lemon herb chicken, mixed vegetables, rustic garlic mashed potatoes, and a variety of rolls. I also had a fruit and cheese display for cocktail hour. The food was so delicious, my guest were going back for seconds. The chicken was so juicy and tender I just couldn't get enough of it. When I say the food was AMAZING, the food was AMAZING. I plan on booking with Sterling Catering and Events for any future events.
