Fantastic!!

Words cannot describe how wonderful Josie and her team have been (and continue to be) for us. Our original "big" wedding was cancelled due to COVID, and we completely changed our plans for something smaller and safer for our guests; when I say Josie has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations, it's because those are the strongest words I can think to use, but they still don't do her justice. We booked Sterling Events with a very small deposit (in comparison to other catering companies), but Josie treats us as if we're her only clients anyway. We weren't able to join any tastings because of COVID, so she offered to prepare take-home meals for us to try so we would feel comfortable booking her team. When we cancelled our big wedding plans due to COVID, we should've had to forfeit our entire deposit, but instead, Josie saved the day and is allowing us to use that money toward a to-go order for our (much smaller) guest count. Keep in mind, when we booked the caterer with our meager deposit, that was with the intention of spending more money down the road, and now with our scaled-down plans, we're spending much less than originally planned, and STILL Josie continues to help and amaze us at every turn. As if this weren't enough, she offered to DELIVER the food to our new wedding location, free of charge, simply to make this 2020 wedding planning journey a little less stressful on us. She didn't have to do any of these things, and we have been absolutely blown away by her continued kindness and will be forever grateful to her. She has even helped me when I was stressed about totally unrelated pieces of the wedding planning process. Josie truly is a blessing to work with, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her team.
Side note, in case you were wondering: We also got to try some of their food offerings at a venue open house, and they were delicious!!! They have sooo many options and menu choices that there's honestly something for everyone. The service we have received thus far has been beyond any measurable expectations we could've had.
In 2020, we've seen lots of statements like "we're in this together", and I can honestly say, Josie makes us feel like she really is in this with us, trying her best to make a horrible situation into a beautiful, happy day. Thank you so much, Josie!!!

Communicative, so much care in their work, and attentive to detail

Josie and her team did an amazing job on our wedding day! They had several personal touches that made our day so special. Josie was intentional in creating a personal relationship with us and showing she cared about us on our special day. The food was fantastic and the team made the room look beautiful with their table set up. They also made it such a pleasant experience for our families at clean up. We would recommend Sterling Events to everyone!

Beyond my expectations

I would like to thank Sterling Catering and Events for catering my wedding on 08.21.2021. Mrs. Josie her team did a fantastic job on the food and setup. My menu consisted of lemon herb chicken, mixed vegetables, rustic garlic mashed potatoes, and a variety of rolls. I also had a fruit and cheese display for cocktail hour. The food was so delicious, my guest were going back for seconds. The chicken was so juicy and tender I just couldn't get enough of it. When I say the food was AMAZING, the food was AMAZING. I plan on booking with Sterling Catering and Events for any future events.

There are no words, Josie and her team were absolutely amazing! The detail, the food, the staff, I am completely grateful that the process was amazing. Corporate Christmas Party - 130 attendees

Our event was actually a company Christmas Party and Josie and her crew at Sterling did an amazing job with the food and the way they did the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend them for any type of catering event.

Great Food and Excellent Service

Josie and her team were great through the entire experience. She allowed us to do a few tastings to determine our exact menu and worked diligently with me beforehand to make sure everything was thought out and executed the day of just as we wanted. Would highly recommend them to anyone wanted a great catering experience.

Great food and service!

Jodie with Sterling and her team did so well. Jodie meet with us and cooked us all of the food we wanted to try, from there we choose what we wanted at our wedding and were even able to make modifications to her recipes to meet our needs and tastes. She offered to do this without us even asking! She even provided food for those who have diet restrictions without any issues. Jodie was also very patient, understanding, and helpful when it came to the menu and our needs! We kept changing and modifying the menu to be within our budget, and she consistently modified the menu for us that we could remain in budget, but receive the meal we had hoped for! The day of the wedding was just as great, the food tasted great and everyone enjoyed the food. We got the pico de gallo chicken, poblano rice, mixed veggies, and caesar salad. Everything was tasty and the serving sizes were great! I highly recommend Jodie, she has a large array of food and we enjoyed all of the foods we had originally tried, there is something for everyone!

Exceptional Caterer!

My daughter Sarah got married on 4/13/19 and Sterling Events and Catering catered the meal. The food was delicious and the service was excellent!! We had Italian. Josie is just wonderful to work with and we could not have been happier with everything. The presentation, the food, and the wait staff were exceptional. I highly, highly recommend Sterling Events and Catering for catering any event!

Bride and Mother of the Bride

Sterling Events and Catering services was outstanding! The food was a big worry for my daughter. After meeting Josie, all of that went away. Josie covered everything!
Josie and her staff were very professional. Josie made us feel like family. My husband, who's a jokester, really think he's apart of Josie's family.
The food!! It was so much food! The presentation, the taste, the serving sizes plus seconds. Our guest were stuffed!! It was more than we ever expected.
I can go on an on about Stering Events and Catering. They were just that good. Thank you Josie and staff for helping make my daughter's wedding day a day of beautiful memories.

Sterling Events and Catering catered a large office Christmas party I was invited to last December. It was such a success that I asked the Company President's Assistant, who was in charge of planning all aspects of the party, if she had used SEC before that event. She said she had and that they really delivered on their promise to provide a memorable experience that was both classy and impressive, but still within her budget.

Not only was the food and menu truly exceptional, the ambiance that Josie Foreman and her team created was really top-notch and wowed everyone who attended. The variety and presentation of food was absolutely amazing and the vegetarian options - that I am never expecting when I go to events such as this - were literally the best I've ever had.

I can say with authority that they definitely know their stuff (I really did overindulge and I rarely ever enjoy any foods enough to do that!)

Josie exhibited the patience of a saint when I recommended her to my friend, who was getting married. My friend, Erin, has always been quite outspoken and a bit demanding. Josie gave her the time she needed by phone and in person at the tastings and continued to be available for her whenever she had questions throughout the planning, up to the big day. Evelyn's wedding was seamless and we could not agree more that Josie is a class act and so talented. The next event I need catered, Sterling Events and Catering will be the only number I dial.

Enormous "Thank You" to Josie and her staff at Sterling Catering, who catered our daughter's wedding. The drop off was coordinated, focused on every detail to perfection. Pick up was precise and very discrete.

Our guests commented, "The food was DELICIOUS!" Of 250 guests who RSVPed, 232 attended. Even with having seconds, we still had food galore!!! The staff members who dropped off and picked up were EXCELLENT, very professional and wonderful to work with.

From first communication with Josie regarding date and scheduling a tasting, we found Sterling Catering to be extremely responsive, with thorough communication. Everything you could want from a vendor while planning a wedding.

We will DEFINITELY use Sterling Catering exclusively for all personal and business functions. We highly recommend them and refer them to friends, business associates, or anyone needing a STRESS FREE catering experience!!!!

Josie will work with you to plan an event that falls within your budget and offer advice/suggestions to help you offer a wonderful food selection for your guests. Exceptional people! Venue was confusing and thought bartender was provided, we had 130 people and no bartender, Josie crossed trains her team and waa-la she pulled TABC licensed bartender from them!!! We decorated venue ourselves and again.... problem.. we were only given table with flat linens for wedding party with no pleated skirts! Saved by Josie! She had her incredible team member make the most beautiful table cover and skirt EVER! This company far surpasses A+ besides having fabulous food they are so talented and truly amazing! I won’t use anyone else for future events! Really proud to have met such professionals and treat us like family!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I recently had my dream wedding and the best part of my wedding was the Food! Sterling Events and Catering was Outstanding!!! The owner, Josie Foreman, was Awesome!!
I had reached out to several caterers only to get a voice message or when I did speak with someone only to feel like I was just another phone call with the same unoriginal menu options.
I was Blessed to have a dear friend tell me about Josie with Sterling. From the moment we spoke on the phone, I felt like she cared. When I met Josie and saw all the different options she offered, I knew I was in great hands. She was able to customize our menu and give us exactly what we wanted and then some! Her late night menu was a big hit with our guests!!
I know that my guests will compare every wedding they go to from this point on due to Sterling! The food was perfect but even better was the Presentation!! Beautiful!! Absolutely Beautiful!!

Our wedding catering experience with Josie and Sterling Events and Catering exceedsexpectations every time. This was our second daughter to get married and we partnered with Josie again. The venue we used was more challenging with 250 guests and the service, food and overall experience was 5 star. Josie and her team are phenomenal. From looking over venues with me to providing cake cutting services. They were always patient, kind and flexible. There was nothing I couldn't ask for. We had so many compliments on the delicious food selection. The chicken was tender and tasteful. Veggies was flavored so well. I will always use them for future parties and events. Josie is a wonderful caterer and provided the perfect experience for our wedding reception. Received amazing food at an excellent value. She was experienced, organized, professional, and a pleasure to work with. She met all our needs from being flexible in scheduling a tasting to providing a bartender for our reception to providing a beautiful and color-coordinated serving table. I also especially liked that she had an arrangement with a local shelter to donate any leftover food rather than throwing it out as many other caterers said they would have to do. Most importantly, the food at the reception was delicious!

I cannot say enough good things about Josie and her team at Sterling Events and Catering! Not only is the food consistently delicious, but the service provided is beyond excellent. Sterling Events and Catering did an excellent job not only catering our wedding, but making us feel comfortable in the planning process and even with helping us choose our venue. The appetizers, reception meal, and brownie bar were delicious and well-presented; our guests really liked the food. Josie's professionalism and experience made her easy to work with in the months leading up to our wedding. We had over 200 guests, but the dinner service was quick and efficient. Josie and her team worked well with our coordinator, and she really went above and beyond. She's a true professional, but you can tell she really has a passion for making sure things go well at a couple's wedding, and not just doing a job.

It was a miracle that my original caterer dropped me due to a double booking because I then found a true gem! Sterling Catering is by far the best caterer and the best overall vendor I used for my wedding. From the very beginning Josie the catering manager, was very flexible with me regarding time and so sweet when we finally met. You just can't beat the price and there is truly no lack in quality of the food either! I had so many people compliment the food! You would be crazy NOT to use Sterling Catering for your events. On our wedding day she made sure everyone was taken care of especially our family members who were disabled and could not serve themselves (Buffet style wedding) and kept checking up on me and my husband to see if we needed anything else. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well.

Sterling Catering Events provided Service to the same Client, at the same time we did, Casino Parties, Inc. Not only was the owner, Josie, and her staff, extraordinarily professional and extremely cordial, they served well over 200 guests that night, including me, and without me even asking, I overheard many people stating what tremendous cuisine this was.

They also cleaned up in a timely fashion, so our Casino event could start as planned. The entire event and evening was a tremendous evening.

My hopes are to work with Josie and Sterling Catering again soon.

So glad we chose Sterling Events and Catering for my daughter's wedding! Josie was so helpful as we asked her many questions over numerous phone calls! She invited us to a tasting and that sealed the deal! We were very pleased with the presentation, quality of the food, and service at my daughter's wedding reception! It was all first class! Josie was incredible! She was very attuned to our needs and delivered a truly wonderful custom menu. We have a family of foodies and they were all impressed with the quality of the food and presentation. She was very flexible and responsive which was very reassuring. Josie's warmth and caring personality coupled with her attention to detail made working with her a fantastic experience.

Josie Foreman and her staff made the wedding recption a breeze. She also provided some decorations that were complimentary to what we had. The value and quality of the food and service were exceptional. I will certainly use them again for other events.

Josie and the entire staff were awesome at my wedding reception on 9/20/14! I was so pleased with the way everything turned out. The food was delicious. The guests loved it. And Josie is a genuinely nice person on top of it all! She went above and beyond to make our special day that much more perfect! I would recommend her to anyone needing a caterer for any occasion!

This was a retirement celebration for my husband. It was a pleasure working with Josie and Sterling Events and Catering Services. The food was delicious and the presentation was outstanding. Josie was very helpful with menu suggestions and ideas to make our party perfect in every way. We would highly recommend both her and her catering service. She was a delight to work with for our special event.

Josie was so nice. We met her at the Arlington Bridal Show and we are so happy that we decided to book her as our caterer. We met several times to organize the dinner menu, appetizers, and guest list. She even has linens available which was perfect. Everyone raved about the food and service. Her staff was also excellent. She had great prices for the food, set-up, service, china/silverware, linens, and clean-up. We would definitely reccomend using Josie as your wedding or event caterer. You won't be disappointed!

I recently used Sterling Events and Catering to cater my wedding at the YWCA in Fort Worth. I can't thank and recommend this vendor (Josie) enough for all that she did for me. I planned the wedding myself and had so many questions and changes throughout. She was always very nice, and fast, about answering them all and adjusting whatever I needed. The wedding night went so smoothly and I heard many great comments from the guests about the food. Everything was delicious! Josie helped make my reception a perfect night for my husband and I. I highly, highly recommend this caterer!

working with Josie was a God send. I was in a bind, down to the wire with my wedding. My sister sugested Sterling events and Catering. Very professional. Catered to my every need. I actually had extra guests show up and she was very accomidating. I would definately suggest her to my friends.

Excellent food; so much variety and great taste. The caterers were so friendly. I attended the wedding and made sure to get their card. I will definitely be using them for my mom's upcoming birthday/retirement party.

Josie's food is out-of-this-world delicious. And the price is excellent. We also rented her linens so we didn't have to worry about pick up or delivery of those. We did provide our own upgraded plates and plastic ware. She offered a couple of upgrades but we found we could supply nicer ones for less cost. We served Margarita Chicken and Cajun Sausage with Red Rice and Beans. Everyone raved! I would definitely recommend using Sterling Events and Catering.

Josie did an amazing job catering our wedding!!! She was very easy to work with and helped us cater to picky guests by serving the sauce, pasta and chicken all separate for our entree. Food was delicious and presentation was great-Josie even brought some of her own decorations to fit my theme. Food was delicious and the price was by far the best value of all the catering companies I researched, not to mention Josie was the sweetest person ever! I would definitely recommend her to cater your wedding, she did a great job on mine!

Great tasting

Josie was absolutely great! We first tasted her meatballs at a open house and my fiancé (hubby) at the time loved them! We sat down with another vendor, which didn't impress us but Josie did! Everyone, raved about how good the food was during the wedding and we're still getting compliments on the food after the wedding. We never sat down to eat, so she made sure to pack plates to go for us. She even made me something special I loved of hers on the side. I would definitely use her again and recommend this vendor to family & friends.♥️

Josie and her team were great! We received a lot of compliments on the food and service. Josie was very professional and it was clear that she cared about our event and making it as smooth and easy for us as possible. Searching for the right vendors for one of the most important events in your daughter's life is sometimes daunting. I am so glad we found Wedding Wire because you led us to the best catering company we could have asked for. Josie Freeman is an amazing lady that brings more than just good food and good service to your event - she brings herself! She is so caring and so intentional in all that she does! We believe we just didn't gain a great caterer, we gained a friend! If you didn't know better, you'd think Josie was doing just one wedding because she is so much about making your wedding exactly what you want it to be. My daughter had a big dream and we wanted her to have that dream but within a little dream budget - Josie helped make her big dream come true! Delicious Food!

We hired Sterling Events pretty early on in our wedding planning process. We had a small event, (approx 50 guests), and most other caterers were asking nearly double the cost because we were ordering for so few people. Josie offered us the same pricing regardless of how many guests we had, which saved us nearly $1000! The food was very good, too. The only complaint I had is that the communication via any means other than phone is practically non-existent. I like to have everything in writing for big events like this, and that wasn't always feasible with them. But we ended up very happy with what we got!

Pleased with sampling event offer

They will have a complementary tasting of their foods at a church in Arlington TX on 2/17/19. I look forward to attending. I can bring up to 3 guests for the food tasting. This seems like a valuable catering service. Other places charge to sample their food. Offering food sampling events makes me want to hire them already. Now only if the food tastes great to us we will hire them. They have half the job already for our wedding.
