They took the stress out of the day by recommending the best vendors and helping to bring our design and vision for our day to life. Based in NYC and planning a wedding in Montecito, we really leaned on Alex for local vendors who were reliable, within our budget and that she had relationships with to ensure we were working with the best of the best. Alex and team helped with introductions, contracts/negotiations and communication throughout all of our planning. This was such a huge help and really enabled us to be able to focus on logistics for our family and friends and really make a magical weekend for everyone. Alex and the team were always available over text and email outside of our regular calls - which I greatly appreciated as there was a lot going in in the months leading up to the wedding. I also was beyond impressed with their attention to detail, clear communication and proactiveness with all my vendors and with us as well - it was exactly what I was looking for in a planning team. We felt very supported throughout the year and truly felt like our friends were planning our wedding! We are so beyond thrilled with how everything turned out the day of and literally all of our family and friends just adored Alex and the team and still cannot stop talking about what an amazing job they did! Alex and her team were the most thoughtful, prepared, organized wedding planners who made you feel like friends every step of the way! I can't believe the lengths they went to to give me the most special day I have ever dreamed of. My experience with Sterling Engagements was exceptional. I worked with both Star and Alex, and both ladies were knowledgable, professional and efficient. They wore many hats for me and handled a lot of vendor communication. I did not want to worry about any details on the day of my wedding, and I didn't thanks to the professionalism of Sterling's team. They were highly organized and kept me on schedule without stressing me out. From small design elements to the overall simplicity of the day, my wedding turned out beautifully and I owe it to Sterling Engagements for that!

Alexandra and Sterling Engagements were brought into our wedding planning VERY close to the wedding (4 months prior) and were absolutely AMAZING. I cannot express my gratitude and relief for their professionalism, care and understanding for EXACTLY what we wanted. I was so overwhelmed with all of the other details for the wedding, but after providing Alexandra with various images and a virtual "vision board" for the event, i was assured that Sterling Engagements knew exactly what to do. Alex was just what I, as a frazzled, excited bride, needed: guidance, organization, someone to be excited with, someone to be in my corner, someone to handle the technical stuff. She walked me through every step along the way.

She has longstanding, fabulous relationships with the best vendors in LA. She also found ties for our boys, dresses for the girls, ordered last-minute parasols for the guests, she did everything you could possibly need in order to feel calm and organized in the months leading up to your wedding.
On the actual day, Alex was there to keep me relaxed and having fun and make everything run smoothly behind the scenes. She even came to my hotel room the evening before to sooth my mini-panic attack.

The only thing I would've liked is if, on the day, she would've felt a little more free to ask for my opinion. I will preface this by saying that she did actually communicate with me throughout the day in a totally unobtrusive way to find out if we wanted/needed this or that, which was great. We'd wanted the speeches to be intermittent and throughout the dancing and reception and, instead, she thought it was best to have them all together in one go, so that we'd have more dancing time. I totally understand her thinking, but it made for around 45 minutes of speeches.
The other thing was a little coordination issue at the end of the night. We had a guest-shuttle and, when it came time to take a group down the hill to their cars or to the hotel, she held the shuttle to make sure that everyone was where they should be and everything was good to go, but the shuttle ended up sitting there for too long. I would've liked the guests to have been able to get out of the shuttle faster.

Everything else, however, went off perfectly and it is, most certainly, all because of Alex. If we hadn't had her, it just wouldn't have been as smooth, as coordinated, or as stress-free. She made all of that possible and saw to it herself. I can't thank her enough.

Sterling Engagements is amazing! Alex and her team are responsive, well organized, thoughtful and there for you 100%! When my fiancé and I met with Alex as we were interviewing potential wedding planners, we knew we had found the right person! We hit it off right away as she had so many ideas, got to know us as a couple, as well as individuals, and our likes and dislikes.

Her recommendations for vendors that we didn't already have (floral, videographer, stationary, linens and lighting) worked out to perfection. Their work was stunning and everything we asked for.
As our wedding day got closer, I became more anxious I was going to miss or forget something, but Alex assured me time and time again she and her team were there for us.
The wedding day was spectacular! Her team arrived on time, they did EVERYTHING that they promised and more. They made it easy to relax and enjoy our special day. Her advice, thoughtfulness, experience and the knowledge to know what each bride (and groom) would want are second nature and priceless.

We could not have had such a memorable day without Alex and Sterling Engagements and we are forever grateful! Her personal touches and experience were beyond what we thought.
