Señor Amor created the perfect groovy atmosphere for our Pre-Wedding shindig, and had us go, go, go-going by the pool all evening long!

Just like the rating says, "As good as it gets!". We hired Senor Amor to DJ our wedding (Queen Mary) on September 16th, 2017. What we got was more than just a DJ. Senor Amor is the party captain. There is no substitute.

He was extremely professional and gave us supreme confidence that we didn't have to worry about the dance floor hopping or party announcements. I couldn't imagine a better outcome. Senor was able to go with the flow of the night and also guide it with his choice selections. We are still hearing from friends and family how amazing the music was for our special day.

My wife, Amie, and I had two goals for our wedding, to eat and dance! And we accomplished BOTH those goals. And the dancing was easy to come by with Señor Amor!

A few weeks before the wedding we met up with Señor to discuss what kind of night we wanted, from music for when guests arrive to cocktail and dinner music to the actual party. He was very attentive to our requests! We sent him a playlist and he delivered!

Our guests are still talking about how fun the DJ was. Everyone was on the floor and didn't stop until we had to kick everyone out! Señor moved the night along and there wasn't a slow moment the whole night.

The dance floor was never bare and we, along with our 90 guests, had one of the best parties any of us have ever been to. DJ Señor Amor is the way to go! His style and music made for a very fun, energetic, exciting and JOYFUL wedding.

A friend recommended Señor Amor to DJ our wedding and we couldn't be happier that he did. Señor is an extremely personable and communicative professional who has the musical knowledge required to accommodate a wide variety of tastes. Most importantly, he clearly paid close attention to the breadth of our song selection and expanded on it perfectly. We were impressed that he recommended an onsite visit a few days prior to the wedding to make sure that he had all of the equipment and electrical requirements down. His judgement, character, and humor made him the perfect emcee - never overbearing or unable to read the situation or crowd. It was one of the greatest dance parties of our lives and the number of attendees who excitedly demanded a copy of the mix bore that out. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ, but especially to those whose tastes extend beyond Top 40. He'll get you what you want. Thanks for everything, Señor!

DJ Señor Amor really respected my wishes for music choices at my wedding - he played all my "must haves" and steered clear of all my "don't plays." His mixes were fantastic and his DJ style was perfect - just the right amount of involvement and personality without overdoing it or being cheesy. Señor is also just a really cool, unique guy… He was a pleasure to work with and he made me feel like he truly cared about making my wedding day special and memorable. My wife and I were referred to Senor Amor by our venue owner who sang his praises and said he was the best DJ out there. Though we contacted many DJs we found that most had copy and paste responses and just seemed so impersonal. Senor contacted us right away and asked for an initial meeting. He was willing to travel anywhere to meet with us and went out of his way to come close to our home. We knew Senor was the right DJ from the start. He was so down to earth, so open, and really focused on what our needs were. My wife and I really felt like he was listening and understood that we wanted something unique. We met Senor once more at the venue before the event. He had so many suggestions and great ideas as to how to maximine the space and really get people dancing. The day of the event he was so professional, so helpful, so fun, so understanding, and so reassuring. He picked the perfect playlist filled with songs that we had suggested and those he felt the audience would respond best to. We got so many compliments on the music choice and DJ. Since we didn't really have much structure to the event, he really was the star of the show (without using the mic for his own personal stand up routine). My wife and I definitely recommend Senor for any event. He really helped make this night the best of my life.

As a couple raised on a healthy dose of new wave, punk, and goth, we were looking for a wedding DJ that was not your typical “wedding DJ.” The challenge was finding someone who understood true alternative music (the distinct difference between “new wave” and “80s hits”), but could also be a great master of ceremonies, and make the whole night a fun, memorable event. Senor Amor is that cool cat. Once you get over his unique moniker, you will find a professional, knowledgeable and sincere performer that truly loves weddings. He is not limited to the above styles of music, and can mix up of any musical recipe of tunes – he is well seasoned in everything from funk to exotica, disco to big band standards. Senor really took the time before the event to understand what we wanted, and delivered a perfect event based on our tastes.
