Dayna and staff at the Sheraton were fabulous to work with. The venue is breathtaking for a reception. The entire process was really smooth. The staff answered my questions within 24 hours, they bent over backwards to make sure I got what I wanted, our guests were thrilled and I truly felt special throughout all of the planning. The guest rooms are a little outdated but everything else about the place is perfect for a reception, and out of town guests can get around town easily from here. Highly recommended!Sent on 07/15/2014

I highly recommend Shearton City Center. Michelle Oldmeadow, who is the event coordinator was wonderful. She is so easy to work with and is such a sweetheart. The ballrooms are beautiful, but if you have more than 300 people, the cocktail hour in the foyer is definitely too small. I recommend having it in the atrium. The food was delicious and served very quickly. We had almost 400 people and I could not believe how quickly everyone got their food. They are also very accommodating for vegetarian and kids meals. We also had pizza served in the lobby for all of our guest following the reception. The pizza was a bit overcooked, but the guests loved it. We stayed at the lobby bar until 2am. So much fun! Best of all...the price can't be beat!Sent on 08/17/2010
