History

In 1978, the ranch became home to CBS’s hit TV show, Dallas. The show ran until the early 1990s and in 1992 the ranch was acquired by Rex Maughan. Since that time, the popular tourist attraction has continued to grow, with numerous events held annually on the grounds. Such was the popularity of the ranch following Dallas, a rodeo arena and a 63,000 square foot event center were built to host countless visitors.
