Alyssa's passion for food and events led her to begin her career in the Food and Beverage industry at a young age. After graduating Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Hospitality Management she grew to be a restaurant manager for a 4-star restaurant and then transitioned to running several catering departments for one of Dallas's largest corporation.
She harnessed her skills in restaurant and event operations, project management, sales, and customer service while growing Petal Creek Events on the side with Ray!
Ray is a Certified Meeting Professional who's career began after graduating Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Hospitality Management and a specialized study in Event Management from the international College of Management in Sydney, Australia.
As a Meeting & Event Planner for a luxury travel network, she worked with the industry's top travel suppliers and travel advisors to produce and operate corporate events between 200 and 6000 attendees. During this time, she also worked on the side helping plan weddings and private parties to kickstart her and Alyssa's dream of one day having their own company.
