Great People Great Food
We are so happy we choose to work with Chef Didier and Pascaline's Fine Catering. From the moment we meet Chef Didier and Ann Marie we knew it was what we wanted. Their food was incredible and their deserts were amazing. We tried several different options for someone to cater our wedding and we made the right choice with Pascaline's. They customized everything made perfect suggestions and pairing for food and wine. They gave us everything we asked for and more all while being professional and incredible helpful. AMAZING!! If I could go back I wouldn't change one thing! We cannot say enough positive things about Pascaline! Didier (Head Chef), Ann Marie (Event Coordinator) and Celine (Head Pastry Chef) are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet and were such a pleasure to work with. On top of all this, they make INCREDIBLY delicious food! They handled two extremely important parts of our wedding weekend, and did a flawless job! We hired them first for our Friday night rehearsal dinner party, and then again to make our wedding cake the following day.Sent on 08/20/2018
Not only did they personally design a three station dinner menu + local cheese and charcuterie station + dessert station for our Friday night, they also invited us to come to the cafe for a private tasting experience with Didier and Ann Marie! To finish it all off, we did a cake tasting with miniature cakes all made by Celine. I can't even begin to describe how lovely the entire dinner and dessert tasting was. I still think about it to this day!!
At our Friday night Rehearsal Dinner party, Didier and Ann Marie were there the entire night working non-stop with their incredible staff to ensure the food and service was perfect - and trust me when I say it was impeccable!!! Our guests were going back for seconds and thirds, and wouldn't stop raving about the food. The stations were extremely well managed, and the presentation of the food was beautiful. The array of desserts prepared by Celine were a hit and were both beautiful and delicious!
We also used Pascaline for our wedding cake (the following day). Celine nailed it! OH MY GOD!! The cake was moist and the cream filling was so decadent and fresh. The buttercream frosting was delicious and looked exactly like the picture we provided her. It was gorgeous!!!! Luckily our venue saved the top tier, so we were able to enjoy it the day after our wedding as well!!

While we wanted to love Chef Didier and Anne Marie so much, and had an amazing time with them at our taste testing - unfortunately, the actual wedding itself was a little bit of a disappointment although it was certainly an efficient operation with the cake by Chef Celine as a highlight.Sent on 09/03/2018
Starting with the food: Unfortunately, the lemon moroccan chicken was pretty dry. Everything else was fine, but perhaps not as amazing as our taste test experience? We ordered the short ribs which were nice, and our sides of grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes were also nicely done. While I cannot say that they delivered the quality we were expecting I know catering is a tough business and cooking high quality food for 100 participants is not easy - and I was under the impression that we were paying a premium caterer for the assurance of high quality incredible food.
We were also a little disappointed in the bartenders they hired. They assured us that the bartenders were experienced and really professional, but our signature cocktail that I tried was sadly really watered down and they had left tons of unopened liquour by the end of the evening.
In the end Chef Didier did not cook during our wedding - and they did not let us know until halfway through the dinner service and i kept looking for him and they introduced me to another fellow. It was disappointing because we thought we had an understanding that we would be getting Chef Didier himself, whom we had so enjoyed meeting and had cooked for us during our taste testing. Felt a little bit like a bait and switch, and I wish they would have told us in advance to set expectations. Turns out Chef Didier was working another event on the same evening... and no one likes to hear that they've been out-chosen by their beloved chef the day of their wedding...
To end on a positive note, I can also say that the cake they made was absolutely stunning and just what we had asked for!
