About
Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast is a historic waterfront wedding venue in Palmetto, Florida since 2009. We are located on the West-Coast of Florida between St. Petersburg & Sarasota. Our closest beach is Anna Maria Island which is approximately 1/2 hour drive from Palmetto.
Our venue hosts weddings up to 150 guests mostly outdoors. We typically host the ceremony in the front garden under the historic live oak overlooking the Manatee River followed by a reception in the back courtyard. The venue offers ceremony chairs, chairs & tables for the reception, extra buffet tables, cocktail tables, indoor reception room, outdoor living room with fire place, covered porch, catering station, etc...
The Bed & Breakfast offers 6 guest rooms so we can accommodate 12 guests. For additional accommodations we work with 3 different hotels nearby which are located in Bradenton. A full European style breakfast is included in an overnight stay. The B&B stays entirely private during the whole weekend.
We have different wedding packages to offer to our couples. Our most popular package is called the Day of Package. This package only includes the venue for the day no overnight stay. In case you would like to stay overnight we do offer 3 other packages with overnight stays. Discount is offered for weekdays weddings (Monday through Thursday or on a Sunday afternoon).
Our venue does not offer food. For every event we host we work with different caterers from the area. A list of recommended caterers is available upon request. We also allow to bring in your own alchohol on the premises.
Tours are available during the week Monday through Thursday or on a Sunday afternoon by appointment only.

My husband and I recently got married at the Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast on 12/10/2022. It was honestly an experience better than we could have ever imagined and/or dreamed of!!! Wim and Mieke are the BEST hosts and made our wedding run as smoothly and as seamlessly as possible. We opted for the entire weekend package - staying Friday and Saturday night - with our wedding ceremony and reception taking place on Saturday. The venue is BEAUTIFUL and the entire time we felt like we were right at home. I'd recommend this venue to anyone getting married. Thank you thank you thank you Wim and Mieke for EVERYTHING! My husband and I got married at the B&B on Feb 29, 2020 and it was perfect! Wim & Mieke were amazing. Their attention to detail from the moment we arrived on Fri to the moment we left on Sunday was above and beyond. They made our wedding weekend so memorable we couldn't have been any happier. Fantastic stay.
Wim and Mieke were both amazing! They worked very hard to make our wedding the best it could be. The venue was beautiful and the rooms were spotless. You could really tell they take pride in buisness. They also went above and beyond in hospitality with us and all our guests. I can't put into words how amazing this Bed and Breakfast is. Wim and Meike are hands down the nicest, most accommodating hosts I have ever met, and the breakfast they made us in the morning was incredible! The house is stunning and the atmosphere is so calming. I could not have picked a better place to have our wedding and I am so happy I will have these memories forever!
