Olympic Valley Stables is a elegant boho chic wedding venue in the heart of the Squaw Valley Meadow in Olympic Valley, California. The premier location walking distance from local bars, restaurants, and lodging for you and your guests’ convenience. The once-fully-operational stables used to house more than 50 horses and ponies the site now offers couples a nostalgic experience in the beautiful valley for their wedding day.
Facilities and Capacity
This sacred space is able to accommodate up to 250 guests and offers two elegant stretch tents, staging/dress rooms, teepees, and beautiful outdoor event space options. The scenic views from the valley will create a gorgeous backdrop for your special day. With so much space you will be able to execute the wedding and reception of your dreams. The gorgeous venue is available for many wedding events in addition to ceremonies, receptions, elopements, engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and vow renewals.
Services Offered
Olympic Valley Stables has on-site parking for guests’ vehicles and shuttles, and the facility is wheelchair accessible. The event planners are extremely flexible and the location allows you to bring your choice of rentals and vendors to ensure you can make your day exactly how you envisioned it. They have a number of recommendations for trusted vendors to make your choices even easier. The venue offers a selection of on-site wedding coordination packages as well. The stables are pet-friendly, so couples can feel free to bring their furry friends on their special day.
History
Olympic Valley Stables’ storied history includes Bud Jones, a great pioneer, and the horses that ran free in the meadow for decades. The venue is also surrounded by the mountains that hold the Squaw Valley Ski Resort which hosted the 1960 Winter Olympic Games. Once a horse ranch of 50+ horses and ponies, now we've upscaled the property physically to match a chic boho vibe/ambiance plus have done energetic work clearing energy, burying crystals and beyond...
Site Fee: $20,000 for the hours 10 am-10 pm day of wedding/reception and allows set-up and strike time. Additional rates and or packages for extended hours, rehearsal dinner, styled shoots, elopements, post-wedding brunch or vow renewals. Additional packages include chair rentals, tables, P/A and decor. Availability June thru September

The Perfect Mountain Venue
On the wedding day, the space was even more stunning than we remembered. Our guests could not stop talking about the views and how special the setting felt. There is something really calming and grounding about being surrounded by the mountains, and it made the entire day feel meaningful and unforgettable.
One of the things we loved most about Olympic Valley Stables is how versatile the space is. It feels like a blank canvas in the best way, allowing you to make the day completely your own. Mich and Sarah were kind, welcoming, and patient. We were able to bring our vision to life while still letting the natural beauty of the venue shine through. We are so grateful we were able to get married here and cannot imagine a better place to have celebrated our wedding.
