Olympic Valley Stables is a barn wedding venue in the heart of the Squaw Valley Meadow in Olympic Valley, California. The premier location is less than one mile from local bars, restaurants, and lodging for you and your guests’ convenience. The once-fully-operational stables used to house more than 50 horses and ponies and now offers couples a nostalgic experience in the beautiful valley for their wedding day.
Facilities and Capacity
The four-acre lot is able to accommodate up to 350 guests and offers a rustic barn with a built-in bar and DJ stage, staging/dress rooms, teepees, as well as covered 64x50 foot stretch tent with bamboo dance floor and uncovered outdoor event space options. The scenic views from the valley will create a gorgeous backdrop for your special day. With so much space you will be able to execute the wedding and reception of your dreams. The gorgeous venue is available for many wedding events in addition to ceremonies, receptions, and elopements, such as engagement parties, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinner.
Services Offered
Olympic Valley Stables has on-site parking for guests’ vehicles and shuttles, and the facility is wheelchair accessible. The event planners are extremely flexible and the location allows you to bring your choice of rentals and vendors to ensure you can make your day exactly how you envisioned it. They have a number of recommendations for trusted vendors to make your choices even easier. The venue offers a selection of on-site wedding coordination packages as well. The stables are pet-friendly, so couples can feel free to bring their furry friends on their special day.
History
Olympic Valley Stables’ storied history includes Bud Jones, a great pioneer, and the horses that ran free in the meadow for centuries. The venue is also surrounded by the mountains that hold the Squaw Valley Ski Resort which hosted the 1960 Winter Olympic Games.
Site Fee: $8,888 for the hours 10 am-10 pm day of wedding/reception and allows set-up time the day prior and tear down. Additional fees for extended hours, silent disco, rehearsal dinner or post-wedding brunch. Availability May thru October
