My husband and I got married at the Chart House in October with our family and closest, dearest friends. Our guest list was 58 people and the reception space fit everyone comfortably. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our big day. Amy, the event coordinator quickly responded to emails and phone calls and was a complete joy to work. Her staff is also wonderful and made our wedding day run smoothly from start to finish! Our ceremony and cocktail hour were outside on the grass until an unexpected snowstorm hit. It made for the most fun, magical celebration! We moved inside for the reception where we hosted a seated, plated dinner. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their meal. A fully stocked bar with a bartender was located outside on the lawn which free'd up a ton of space in the banquet room. We couldn't recommend the Chart House enough for your wedding!

Phenomenal venue for rehearsal dinner. Old historic building, yet the room was perfect size, long table for the dinner with extra area to mingle and visit. They were super easy to deal with in the planning stages. Very responsive to questions and gave recommendations that were helpful. We hose the family style menu, simplified things in the weeks before and everything was amazing. The dishes were well spaced, delicious and plentiful. Everyone raved about the food, had plenty to eat and didn't have a bunch leftover which always feels wasteful. Staff was super attentive without feelin intrusive. Highly recommend.

We had our wedding reception with Tep's villa Roma in 2002. Dan and his wife the owners were so helpful, Dan made planning this event effortless. He provided every service imaginable. the staff was attentive & professional. When the big day came everything was in place as we had planned. The only thing we had to do was enjoy the day.

Big Water Grille was the perfect venue for us and the size of our group was perfect for a buy-out of the place. This place offeres excellent food (very important for me and my husband as both of us work in Food and Beverage Management) in a nice atmosphere and of course in Tahoe - a view of the lake. Our wedding ceremony was held on the deck of the restaurant with a view on the lake. The entire staff was on top of the game and super attentive to details. Chef Jay did an outstanding job with the food and Karen set up the restaurant with centerpieces I brought her etc just as I asked her to. There is no place I would be happier to spend my anniversary next year.

I booked this venue based on reviews as I live out of state. They were so responsive and communicative with emails and phone calls. My wedding was at the beginning so the weather being uncertain, they were ready to hold the ceremony inside or outside, our choice, up to the final hours. The location was beautiful, food delicious, staff and service amazing. I would highly recommend them

We had dinner at Gar Woods the day after our wedding, and it was the perfect way to end the weekend! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with stunning views. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. It was a great choice for a post-wedding meal with our parents. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a beautiful spot with fantastic food and excellent service!

I want to thank Robin and her team for ensuring our day was perfect. She had a great list of recommendations for us to book other vendors. This helped as they all have worked previously with each other and they synced up for the day. The packages were super convenient for us! It helped make the planning easier and wow Mcduff’s food was delicious! Our guests loved the food. The garden truly comes to life on the big day I was so happy once I saw everything come together. The weather was perfect and the venue truly is beautiful. We had a small wedding and couldn’t have found a better place.
