Our Heavenly wedding was perfect! The venue is beyond beautiful and the staff was kind, responsive, and made our day perfect!! We have NO regrets and are thankful we picked this for our venue!

We knew we wanted to get married in the Tahoe area, somewhere under the trees, near the lake, not on a beach, not at a restaurant, and not a harrowing booking window where you can only book it online at midnight exactly 1 year beforehand or whatever. When looking for venues there were shockingly few that both fit that description AND weren't a zillion dollars (plus we're more laid-back people and really not at all golf course people), so we were so happy to find Valhalla. We were grateful for the recommended vendor list Valhalla has, which made it easy to narrow down but has some really great recommendations (we worked with Cassandra Ream at Art in Motion Design, who has a lot of experience working with Valhalla and knows how to make the venue really shine; highly recommend!). The staff at Valhalla was all wonderful. And the venue was really perfect; we loved getting married under the trees with incredible dappled light coming through, the dock was really lovely and we have some great photos there, we had a lovely cocktail hour and dinner on the lawn, and the great hall was perfect for dancing for our wedding (we had 90 people). Overall we couldn't be happier.

Our October 2025 wedding at The Tannenbaum Event Center was absolutely amazing, and the event could not have been more perfect. The Tannenbaum team is very experienced and knowledgeable, and the event ran smoothly with their guidance. The food at Tannenbaum is required to be catered by Roundabout Catering, and it is SO GOOD! The venue is stunning. The ceremony takes place on the back lawn with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The inside is so cozy with string lights and a beautiful stone fireplace. We had a little bit of a mishap with our table centerpieces, but the Tannenbaum staff took care of us and worked with us to find a solution. I highly recommend the Tannenbaum as a wedding venue if you are looking to get married in the Reno/Tahoe area.

Convict Lake is an absolute dream, especially for couples who love nature like us. The breathtaking scenery creates a naturally romantic and intimate atmosphere that doesn’t need much added decor. It’s truly one of the most beautiful places to get married. What made our experience exceptional was Meghan, our wedding planner. From the very beginning, Meghan demonstrated true professionalism and expertise. She is incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and clearly an expert at what she does. Throughout the planning process, she made everything feel stress-free and seamless and even helped us find our wedding officiant. The staff at Convict Lake Resort were equally wonderful. They were friendly, accommodating, and incredibly professional. Everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, allowing us to enjoy every moment. Having on-site cabins to rent for wedding preparations was a big bonus too! The team even drove us from our cabin to the wedding tent and vice versa even though it’s just within the area. Thank you so much Meghan and Convict Lake Resort for helping us have our dream wedding!

From my first email asking about getting married on Ms Dixie II I have had an amazing experience with every step. The arranging and booking were made simple and precise. Leslie and Codie both equally guided and arranged everything. I had no idea how or where to get marriage license. They did everything but sign the license. I wanted to speak to captain that was going to marry us. They asked and he gave me his personal cell number. I wanted a cabin on the water. These ladies arranged the perfect cabin. Clean. Close to the water and at the end of road for privacy. I asked for their choice of their favorite restaurants and I got a list of paces I would go back to when I come next time. The drive around the lake was the one thing both agreed is a must do and both of us had the time of our life. My favorite thing about our trip was our wedding day. Starting off with the captain asking where at on boat we wanted to preform service. Since it was just the 2 of us I asked about the wheel house. Captain quickly said well that sounds like a great place. He had never done a ceremony there before. Probably because most wedding parties have several people envolved. I got to say getting married to my best friend in the pilots office in front of the big steering wheel was a winner. The dinner was excellent. The head chef made us a very special dessert that was as good as it was pretty. The waiters gave us fantastic service. These guys really hustle to make everyone's experience memorable. The bar tender was a show in itself. He made drinks I have never seen before with a speed I have only seen on a couple occasions. Summing up our experience. I will continue telling people to check into this if a wedding is in anyone's future. This was as affordable as weddings get. I am so happy I stumbled onto this place as I surfed the net for wedding ideas. Gerald Roland

Choosing Winters Creek Lodge for our wedding was the best decision ever and added so much magic to our big day. The place is straight-up gorgeous, with mountain views that make every photo look like a postcard. And those floor-to-ceiling windows? They make you feel like you’re outside soaking up the beauty, even when you’re indoors. Judit from Winters Creek Lodge was an absolute gem to work with. From our first visit to the end of our wedding night, she was there, answering my endless questions and making sure everything went smoothly. She made planning our wedding feel more like fun and less like a task. And the food – oh my goodness, it was to die for. They even whipped up a special dish just for my husband because of his dietary needs, and our guests are still talking about how amazing the buffet was, especially the prime rib. Honestly, it beat some of the fanciest spots in San Francisco, hands down. Getting such a stunning venue and top-notch service without breaking the bank? Unbeatable.

We are so happy we chose NTEC for our wedding venue! This was the best option we found for a lake front venue that was in our budget. And we love Kings Beach and the North Tahoe area, so it worked perfectly. The views are stunning and the terrace worked so well for our 60 person wedding (early June 2025). We did both the ceremony and reception outside and we were so glad we did! The atmosphere was top notch. It was big enough to fit everyone with plenty of space, and it was nice to be able to see your partner from anywhere you were at on the terrace. It can be so easy to lose them through out the evening. We did not get ready here, we all got ready at nearby Airbnbs instead. The bridal room is small, just for getting dressed or storing things, but there are additional rooms you could rent out. Brittany and Christina were great to work with and promptly helped me and answered questions via email as I planned our wedding from another state. I highly recommend this venue, and if we had to do it over again, we would choose it again!

The Delta Saloon Victorian Banquet Hall turned out beautiful. The room doesn't appear to be much at first, but after the tables were set it was gorgeous. There is also a large balcony overlooking historic "C" st. The room has a large dance floor in the middle. The staff were wonderful. They were very helpful but instrusive. Great location especially for the price!

Our wedding weekend at Wylder was an amazing and unforgettable experience. Everyone at Wylder was so welcoming and accommodating. Ivy is so professional and was able to help us with anything. We felt so taken care of and Ivy made us feel so special. They were so flexible with our plans and Ivy was fantastic at communicating with us leading up to the big day. I would recommend Wylder as a venue to anyone!
