What made our experience exceptional was Meghan, our wedding planner. From the very beginning, Meghan demonstrated true professionalism and expertise. She is incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and clearly an expert at what she does. Throughout the planning process, she made everything feel stress-free and seamless and even helped us find our wedding officiant. The staff at Convict Lake Resort were equally wonderful. They were friendly, accommodating, and incredibly professional. Everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, allowing us to enjoy every moment.
Having on-site cabins to rent for wedding preparations was a big bonus too! The team even drove us from our cabin to the wedding tent and vice versa even though it’s just within the area.

We LOVE working with the team at Convict Lake Resort, and are so grateful to have planned many events at this beautiful property. From the breathtaking lakeside ceremony locations, to the spectacular views of the mountains/sunsets through their clear tent structure, this property is an all around great venue for your special day! Not to mention they have cabins on-site to house your guests, and fun activities (i.e. horseback riding, fishing/boating, hiking, etc.), to keep your guests happy all weekend long. What a beautiful location for a wedding! With a top-notch staff, they'll treat you to a gorgeous, private mountain wedding.
Convict Lake Resort is a world class wedding destination of the finest in it's class. The service team is excellent and well trained, very professional they almost always have a sommelier on staff. The wedding planning team of Mike and Meghan are always on point. Weddings at this location are always executed flawlessly in time. The magic is in the details they are very meticulous and organized. Convict Lake is so smooth your guests will be impressed by the flow! The food is delicious, you could argue it the finest in all the Sierra! You can always taste the craftsmanship. From the homemade salad dressings the vinaigrette is off the hook! There is a New York that is roasted Prime Rib style that reinvents the game! My personal favorite is the Mahi Mahi with Jalapeño Cilantro. Chef Oscar and this crew are very talented. Yea the service and view combined with the value make this place all time. The view from the ceremony sites speaks for itself. Take the hike around the lake and let the mountains and the majesty speak to you. You will thank me! (about 45 minutes easy terrain and no elevation gain. Bring water, wear sunscreen, appropriate footwear) I recommend Convict Lake on every level. This place is fantastic!
