During wedding planning, everyone tells you that something unexpected is bound to happen or that something won't go according to plan. As a Type A over-planner, I was determined not to let that happen. But the moment we arrived at Twenty Mile House, I realized I didn't have to be the control freak I usually am. The TMH team handled every detail with such calm professionalism that I was able to relax and truly enjoy the experience. From the very beginning, we were impressed. Our virtual tour with Rachel made us fall in love with the venue; Kevin and Karen worked with us to make our budget work, Joe gave us a wonderful tour when we returned after booking; and Ashleigh patiently answered all of my questions—no matter how late I sent them. The venue itself feels like something out of a storybook. Every one of our guests raved about the beautiful setting, the accommodations, the incredible staff, the ceremony site, and even the fact that there wasn't a restrictive noise ordinance. Everything exceeded our expectations. Not a day has gone by since our wedding that I haven't said, "I wish I could do it all over again." Choosing Twenty Mile House was one of the best decisions we made, and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

We got married here in September 2024 and got to reserve the whole place for our family and friends. We opted to have all of our wedding events on site to maximize the time with everyone. This venue, while expensive, will wow your guests and provide a unique experience where they can connect all weekend long. Emily is very organized, a clear & direct communicator, and made sure that our event was a success. The staff are amazing too and provided a lot of help during the weekend with serving, bartending, and moving tabes & chairs. Our families were able to relax and many said that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended.

Absolutely wonderful and helpful staff. We has the pleasure of working with Callie and always was absolutely amazing! They answer every question no matter how small. They are very reliable to make sure you are getting exactly what you are wanting for your day. Incredibly greatful for everything they did for us! Most perfect venue to host anything at!

My husband and I met at Piper's Opera House, so for my 50th birthday, we renewed our wedding vows on the same dance floor. I LOVE this venue. The staff is amazing, especially Whitney, who is truly wonderful to work with. The ballroom is enchanting and unique. I was able to have BOTH a DJ and a live band! My guests really enjoyed the ball, the history, and Virginia City! If you're looking for something out of the ordinary and memorable, I highly recommend Piper's Opera House.
