The River School Farm in Reno, Nevada, is a venue that hosts weddings and reception events for up to 60 guests. Please contact us to schedule an appointment to tour our grounds and learn more about hosting your wedding, reception, or other special event here.

The Basic Wedding Package includes:

• Use of property for one calendar day (beginning with deliveries, set-up, party, clean-up, etc.)
• Mapes Stage and amphitheater
• Fire pits and burn barrels, incl. firewood
• River access
• One restroom
• One refrigerator incl. freezer
• Outdoor prep area
• Outdoor sound equipment
• 40 metal folding chairs and 6 folding tables (6' x 2'6")
• Our indoor studio can accommodate up to 60 seated people
• Spotlights

The basic wedding package includes one full-day rental of our designated facilities and grounds. River School Farm staff will be available during your wedding set-up to answer any questions and/or help with additional equipment that you may have rented from us. Please note that the basic wedding package does not include staffing your event.

Greening your wedding

The River School Farm boasts a number of features that minimize resource use and showcase sustainable design. We encourage recycling materials, limiting waste, and donating food scraps to our compost and chickens.

Our facilities integrate many green technologies, including solar photovoltaic power, solar hot water, LED outdoor lighting, and onsite composting and recycling. If you are interested in greening your wedding further, we can help out in the following areas:
