We truly could not have made it through the wedding planning process without Jessi and Monique. They were patient, kind, thoughtful, and incredibly organized. There were so many moments when I felt completely overwhelmed by everything that needed to get done, and they always stepped in to help ease my stress. The entire Epic Thyme team went above and beyond—both during the planning process and on the wedding day itself. They helped us find amazing vendors, communicated with everyone to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted, and handled things behind the scenes so we could actually enjoy the day. There are countless things they did that made our wedding possible, and we will forever be grateful for them.

We tied the knot this past month at gorgeous Olympic Valley Stables w/ 150 of our people rooting for us. Epic Thyme supported us through the whole process, starting 8 months prior. Their calm, and can-do attitude eased the overwhelm. My partner and I were not alone in it, they were engaged and in it with us, making such a large, detail oriented wedding weekend possible. This review is long overdue because I worried I wouldn’t be able to find the right words to do the Epic team justice. We met Christi when we were first visiting our venue, Olympic Valley Stables in Tahoe. She was there setting up for a wedding and took a few minutes to chat with us. We loved her energy right away, her positivity, professionalism, and easy-going attitude. Hiring Epic Thyme was the easiest decision. From the moment we began working together, Christi, Monique and their team were perfect. They listened and heard when we described the wedding we envisioned, one that blended cultures and traditions and included children. Nothing seemed to throw them; they just magically they made it happen. They helped us choose vendors who would reflect our style and expectations. They were generous with their time and energy, extremely organized with budgets, communication, and timelines, and creative with vision boards to help us see all the parts and pieces put together. We worked together as a team beautifully and knew we could trust their choices and decisions 100%. Christi and Monique are joyful and energetic, and they seem to love the party planning process. When problems arose (and they naturally do), they were reassuring and relaxed, just figured out a solution without drama. A few months before our rehearsal dinner, when we foolishly thought we could plan and host the event ourselves - and realized we couldn’t - they jumped in and seamlessly took over, so the rest of us could relax and enjoy the entire weekend of events. We have already recommended Epic Thyme to friends with weddings in the future, and we will continue to sing their praises! And, we would hire them again in a heartbeat! So happy we chose to work with you, Christi and Monique! The only negative is the planning process is over and we miss you!

We are BEAMING writing this review for Epic Thyme. Christi, Monique and Dani planned and ran our wedding in June 2023 at the North Lake Tahoe Event Center, and it was truly EPIC! Epic Thyme did it all - they are amazing at designing a wedding that fits your vibe and budget (down to the tiniest details), project/vendor manage-ing the planning and day-of execution of realizing that vibe, and considering your and your guests’ experience throughout the day so the wedding goes off without a hitch. They’re professional, structured, highly communicative, and on top of all of that, they’re the most fun!! They’ll be the first person at the venue the day of the wedding (and the day before!), and the last to leave, and they brought so much positive energy, good vibes and smiles on the wedding day and the 9+ months in planning! The team really goes above and beyond for their clients, and we’re so immensely thankful we had the chance to work with them to plan the party of a lifetime.

Epic Thyme helped us plan the best wedding we could have ever hoped for! My wife and I originally searched high and low for planners in the Tahoe area, and after meeting with Christi we knew she was a great fit for us. She exudes a perfect blend of professionalism, knowledge, confidence and chill that worked so well for us in planning our wedding!

We hired Epic Thyme for the full wedding planning service, and they knew exactly what we needed within the first 1-2 meetings. They use Aisle Planner for planning, which was a great resource for checklists/deadlines, and also have plenty of their own pages including templates for song selection, ceremony processional, discount codes, etc. So much accumulated knowledge! Along the way, Christi and team always made us feel confident, no matter the curveballs that were thrown our way. During the course of planning, we changed the location and date of our wedding, while also having Epic Thyme expand to add more members to the team, and Christi just *handled* it like it wasn't even a thing. I seriously don't even understand how she manages to squeeze more than 24 hours out of a day; truly unlimited energy!

Leading up the wedding, our meetings increased in frequency which was perfect for all the last-minute details. Epic Thyme handled so many things here, including signage, ceremony and reception timelines, and meeting with vendors separately to make sure everyone is on the same page. We truly felt like we were in great hands the entire time, and Epic Thyme knew exactly what to do to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch!

The wedding day itself was seamless; if anything went wrong, we didn't notice it or hear about it! Christi and Danni were so great about keeping to the timeline, making sure we (and vendors) knew where to be and when, and made it so easy for us to enjoy our wedding and be mindful and present the entire day! Everything was so beautiful and it was truly the perfect weekend.

Long story short, Christi, Monique, Danni, and crew were the absolute best choice for our wedding. By the end, they felt like family and I'm so bummed that we don't have our wedding meetings anymore! Seeing the business grow as we were clients was so fun, and we have all the confidence in the world that Epic Thyme will keep pulling off AMAZING weddings and reach truly stratospheric levels. We originally had our wedding planned in September and due to a California wildfire, we were forced to postpone very last minute. We rescheduled the wedding in November and were forced to redo virtually everything from scratch. We went from a warm lake wedding to a cold and snowy wedding. Basically, the wedding planners had to schedule 2 weddings for us but only charged us for 1! You won't find a nicer more professional group than Epic Thyme.

OK-can so say enough about this absolute brilliant wedding planner? Let’s start of with Christi’s personality:chill. Chill but professional and she gives you the feeling of her very much being in control yet so friendly you want to be friends in real life after your wedding is over. Her work ethic is superb. I was so impressed with her clearly ideating on her toes and then executing on some of our last minute day of changes that arose. The details! My gosh. She thought of EVERYTHING. I was a floating princess with not a care in the world this past weekend. Her 10 years of experience is evident in every part of the process through the day. We found Epic Thyme accidently after I had scrubbed the internet near and far for different wedding venues in California. I had a particular vision in mind and was having trouble finding a venue that would deliver what I wanted. I then somehow stumbled on the Epic Thyme Instagram and there it was. My perfect venue =Basecamp Tahoe South. Outdoors, woodsy, laid back but still elevated, romantic, and easily accessible to out of town travelers.

After finding Basecamp I knew we owed Epic Thyme a call since it was her Instagram to lead us to this awesome find. During our initial call with Christi it was truly love at first sight. Christi was so lovely, she is the perfect balance of professional and knowledgeable but also endearing and laid back.

Having all of Epic Thyme's knowledge at our fingertips led us to having so much more than we would have been able to imagine on our own. Who knew you could hire a dog handler who specialized in weddings! Christi did! Who knew you could find a videographer that only shoots footage and doesn't edit! Christi did! Their fee's nearly paid for themselves if you factor in all the negotiation Christi did with our vendors. On top of that, we knew we would have the best team of vendors because Christi had worked with them in the past and knew which vendors best suited our style, venue and budget.

I am a very organized person however sometimes get overwhelmed in situations of stress. Having Christi and team fully enabled me to enjoy not only the day of the wedding but the whole planning process. By the end, Epic Thyme felt like part of the fam.
