Where to even start. Matt and I had a perfect wedding thanks to Epic Thyme. Truly couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner experience - their experience helped us land every little detail we never would have thought of on our own. Absolutely Outstanding Wedding Coordinator!
We cannot recommend Jessi and Monique with EpicThyme highly enough! From our very first meeting, it was clear we were in the best possible hands. Our wedding day was an absolute dream, and so much of that was thanks to Jessi and Monique’su incredible talent, professionalism, and genuine care.
They thought of everything. The level of detail and organization was phenomenal — every timeline, vendor coordination, setup, and emergency backup plan was handled flawlessly. On the day itself, the team was calm, confident, and completely in control, which allowed us to fully relax and be present in every moment. Epicthyme anticipated needs before we even realized them and handled a couple of small last-minute curveballs with such grace and efficiency that our guests never noticed a thing.
What truly set Epicthyme apart was how personal they made everything feel. They listened to our vision and helped bring it to life beautifully, while also protecting our time and energy. We felt supported, stress-free, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day.

We truly could not have made it through the wedding planning process without Jessi and Monique. They were patient, kind, thoughtful, and incredibly organized. There were so many moments when I felt completely overwhelmed by everything that needed to get done, and they always stepped in to help ease my stress. The entire Epic Thyme team went above and beyond—both during the planning process and on the wedding day itself. They helped us find amazing vendors, communicated with everyone to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted, and handled things behind the scenes so we could actually enjoy the day. There are countless things they did that made our wedding possible, and we will forever be grateful for them. -

We tied the knot this past month at gorgeous Olympic Valley Stables w/ 150 of our people rooting for us. Epic Thyme supported us through the whole process, starting 8 months prior. Their calm, and can-do attitude eased the overwhelm. My partner and I were not alone in it, they were engaged and in it with us, making such a large, detail oriented wedding weekend possible. This review is long overdue because I worried I wouldn’t be able to find the right words to do the Epic team justice. We met Christi when we were first visiting our venue, Olympic Valley Stables in Tahoe. She was there setting up for a wedding and took a few minutes to chat with us. We loved her energy right away, her positivity, professionalism, and easy-going attitude. Hiring Epic Thyme was the easiest decision. From the moment we began working together, Christi, Monique and their team were perfect. They listened and heard when we described the wedding we envisioned, one that blended cultures and traditions and included children. Nothing seemed to throw them; they just magically they made it happen. They helped us choose vendors who would reflect our style and expectations. They were generous with their time and energy, extremely organized with budgets, communication, and timelines, and creative with vision boards to help us see all the parts and pieces put together. We worked together as a team beautifully and knew we could trust their choices and decisions 100%. Christi and Monique are joyful and energetic, and they seem to love the party planning process. When problems arose (and they naturally do), they were reassuring and relaxed, just figured out a solution without drama. A few months before our rehearsal dinner, when we foolishly thought we could plan and host the event ourselves - and realized we couldn’t - they jumped in and seamlessly took over, so the rest of us could relax and enjoy the entire weekend of events. We have already recommended Epic Thyme to friends with weddings in the future, and we will continue to sing their praises! And, we would hire them again in a heartbeat! So happy we chose to work with you, Christi and Monique! The only negative is the planning process is over and we miss you! -

We are BEAMING writing this review for Epic Thyme. Christi, Monique and Dani planned and ran our wedding in June 2023 at the North Lake Tahoe Event Center, and it was truly EPIC! Epic Thyme did it all - they are amazing at designing a wedding that fits your vibe and budget (down to the tiniest details), project/vendor manage-ing the planning and day-of execution of realizing that vibe, and considering your and your guests’ experience throughout the day so the wedding goes off without a hitch. They’re professional, structured, highly communicative, and on top of all of that, they’re the most fun!! They’ll be the first person at the venue the day of the wedding (and the day before!), and the last to leave, and they brought so much positive energy, good vibes and smiles on the wedding day and the 9+ months in planning! The team really goes above and beyond for their clients, and we’re so immensely thankful we had the chance to work with them to plan the party of a lifetime. -

OK-can so say enough about this absolute brilliant wedding planner? Let’s start of with Christi’s personality:chill. Chill but professional and she gives you the feeling of her very much being in control yet so friendly you want to be friends in real life after your wedding is over. Her work ethic is superb. I was so impressed with her clearly ideating on her toes and then executing on some of our last minute day of changes that arose. The details! My gosh. She thought of EVERYTHING. I was a floating princess with not a care in the world this past weekend. Her 10 years of experience is evident in every part of the process through the day. Epic Thyme truly enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams. I couldn't recommend hiring Christi and team more!
We found Epic Thyme accidently after I had scrubbed the internet near and far for different wedding venues in California. I had a particular vision in mind and was having trouble finding a venue that would deliver what I wanted. I then somehow stumbled on the Epic Thyme Instagram and there it was. My perfect venue =Basecamp Tahoe South. Outdoors, woodsy, laid back but still elevated, romantic, and easily accessible to out of town travelers.
After finding Basecamp I knew we owed Epic Thyme a call since it was her Instagram to lead us to this awesome find. During our initial call with Christi it was truly love at first sight. Christi was so lovely, she is the perfect balance of professional and knowledgeable but also endearing and laid back.
Having all of Epic Thyme's knowledge at our fingertips led us to having so much more than we would have been able to imagine on our own. Who knew you could hire a dog handler who specialized in weddings! Christi did! Who knew you could find a videographer that only shoots footage and doesn't edit! Christi did! Their fee's nearly paid for themselves if you factor in all the negotiation Christi did with our vendors. On top of that, we knew we would have the best team of vendors because Christi had worked with them in the past and knew which vendors best suited our style, venue and budget.
I am a very organized person however sometimes get overwhelmed in situations of stress. Having Christi and team fully enabled me to enjoy not only the day of the wedding but the whole planning process. By the end, Epic Thyme felt like part of the fam. Thank you so much for being a part of this special moment and making it more than I could have ever planned on my own. We are really grateful to you!

Simply the best wedding planners!
Christi, Monique and the entire team at Epic Thyme are just fabulous. When people ask how our wedding weekend went, the answer we give is that it was the best weekend of our lives, and that truly would not have happened without them. First, the decor. You know when you go to the hairdresser with a picture of a celebrity and ask for your hair to look exactly like theirs, only to realize it never does? I never imagined that Christi would be able to bring our inspiration photos to life, EXACTLY how we imagined them to be, but she did! The entire process of working with Epic Thyme was great. We genuinely enjoyed our planning sessions each week and trusted that they had everything under control. My husband and I were both very busy with work leading up to the wedding so without their help, we aren't sure what we would have done. While there really were no hiccups throughout the wedding weekend, when little things did come up, Epic Thyme handled everything with ease. The hotel we all stayed at was supposed to keep their bar open for our guests after the welcome dinner, but they closed early. Christi and Monique found a bar a few blocks away before the dinner was over and had a spot reserved for our guests in no time. Epic Thyme truly handled everything for us. They found us incredible vendors, handled all the coordination, helped us put together welcome bags, and managed everything during the weekend so we could spend time with our guests. We cannot thank Epic Thyme enough for making our weekend the most special. Not only were they the most incredible wedding planners, but we now see them as our friends too. I could write a very lengthy review expressing how great Epic Thyme is, but I will keep it as concise as possible. Christi is incredibly talented at event planning and since hiring her in 2020 (our wedding finally happened in 2022), she built a team and they are all incredible to work with. I always looked forward to our planning calls and she listened to every dream I had, reeled me in when I needed it, and was taking care of minor speed bumps up until the very last minute. Epic Thyme goes above and beyond for their clients and other local vendors attested to their quality of work to me as well. Hands down one of the best decisions of my wedding planning process was choosing them. They put SO much hard work and effort into making your event exactly what you want it to be and will always exceed expectations.Epic Thyme's reply:

Christi and Epic Thyme are the best! When we first reached out to Christi, we still hadn’t decided on the location for our destination wedding. It didn’t matter, because after one conversation we knew immediately that Christi was the wedding planner we needed in our lives. She was personable, professional, organised, helpful, creative, knowledgeable, chill — literally everything you could hope for when planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic and from afar. Christi was so good at listening to both of our ideas and using her own planning and design expertise to essentially 10x every idea we had. I am honestly amazed by how she was able to transform our ideas and a few of our favorite Pinterest pins into something so amazing. It was such a relief to be able to hand project management of all wedding things over to Christi, so my husband and I could have time for some of the other planning tasks and also focus on other things. When we had to make the difficult decision to cut our guest count to comply with local pandemic guidelines, Christi helped us to tweak the details of the weekend to create a really fun, intimate event. We had such an amazing weekend with our families.
The day after our wedding when we said goodbye to Christi, it felt like we were saying goodbye as friends. We had gotten used to regular calls with her and truly enjoyed her support and friendship in the months leading up to our wedding day.
We loved working with Christi and would recommend Epic Thyme hands down to any couple that needs help planning their wedding in Lake Tahoe and beyond. Absolutely THE best wedding planner!
Christi and Monique were our lifesavers! We had a wedding at my mom's house and they completely transformed her backyard (and driveway!) into the most magical venue I've ever seen. They were so accommodating to our quirky requests and really took the reins as we were so busy and fairly hands off with the whole planning experience. From vendors, to decorations, to being there for the rehearsal and support during the wedding day, they were beyond professional, personable, and created the most amazing day for us to celebrate with our friends and family. We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was, from the first meeting to the breakdown the following day. The Best of the Best!
Christi and her team at Epic Thyme are the absolute best! My husband and I got engaged in December 2020 and hit the ground running with vendors. One we solidified our venue (Holbrooke Hotel, Grass Valley) we connected with Christi who generously reopened her books to take us on as clients. We couldn’t wait for our monthly check-ins with Christi, she has the best energy! She is calm, organized, and a total blast to work with! Every detail was seamless from rentals to execution during our rehearsal and day of. Christi and her team went out of their way to ensure smooth communication with our vendor team ahead of the event, and every detail was flawless! She habitually goes above and beyond, even escorting my Mom up to her room after the reception and magically (!) delivering her cell phone that she didn’t even realize she left behind. I can’t recommend Christi and Epic Thyme enough. She made our wedding experience seamless, and we already miss her so much! I’m already plotting ways to work with her in the future. Take it from us, RUN don’t walk to hire her! -

Worth every penny.
When my wife and I began our wedding planning process, we tried to do many of the tasks by ourselves. Initially we made some headway, but as things got more and more complicated we realized we needed help; we never would have achieved our goals without Christi's hard work!
Once we brought Christi on as our planner she helped us fine-tune our vision for the wedding, and kept us on task to make sure everything was in order. There were so many details that we never would have thought of!
Additionally, the day-of coordination was absolutely worth it; everything went smoothly and allowed us (and all our family) to actually enjoy ourselves. Christi's extensive experience and work ethic was invaluable.Epic Thyme's reply:

Having a wedding planner was not originally part of our plan or budget. But as planning moved along, and we somehow seemed to be moving backwards, we decided to hire a planner. Searching through vendors can be so difficult and stressful, so if you are looking and reading this- STOP. And send Christi a message to see if she is available for your day!
I am indecisive. My husband's job has him away from home several months at a time, so I did much of the planning on my own. But I was not really on my own! Christi helped me make decisions, stay on track & in budget, and was such a blast to meet with on top of all of it! She helped us create a vision for the wedding, which we could not have ever created on our own. She helped us to find vendors that kept us in our budget and led us to the best DJ- DJ Dave Berkman!
When we first found Epic Thyme, it was just Christi, but we are so grateful to have had Monique there leading up and for the day of our wedding. Because of these two ladies, my husband and I did not have to think about a single thing the day of the wedding. It allowed us, our family, and friends to truly just enjoy every moment throughout the day. They helped keep the whole day on schedule and in a way that never made us feel rushed. Our entire wedding week was stress-free!
Christi went above and beyond. For example, the day before, she picked up the bulk flowers we ordered from a flower farm and helped us put together beautiful flower arrangements! She also helped my mother-in-law coordinate the rehearsal dinner, which was amazing! Every detail was so beautiful and so fun and would not have been possible without the two of them!
About 6 weeks before our wedding we had to re-do the entire reception from CA to Nevada because of COVID restrictions and Christi helped us navigate all of this and all of these changes. It made such an incredible difference to have a professional help us get through all of the stress of these changes and talk with our new venue, all while doing this for other couples as well!
One of the biggest lessons learned is that planning your wedding, while it will have stressful moments, should be mostly FUN! You are about to marry the love of your life and your best friend! If you are looking for an amazing team to help you plan a beautiful celebration, Christi will help you make all your wedding dreams a reality while keeping it full of laughter and love!!! We absolutely loved working with her! She did more for us than I can even write in this review, so I will just leave it at hiring Epic Thyme was one of the best planning decisions that we made!

There is just no way possible to capture the pure magic that Epic Thyme creates into words. However, Epic Thyme went above and beyond the call of duty with me as their client and for our music festival wedding extravaganza, so I must try my best to explain, as anyone planning any event would be beyond blessed to even consider them. To begin with, Christi and Monique are beautiful people inside and out with hearts of gold and the desire to bring magic and joy to each event they do. As I worked with them for the last year and a half planning my wedding, I quickly grew to love them as they people they are, the work they do, and truly looked forward to each and every meeting I had with them. That being said, I was no easy bride. I had a million and one completely crazy dreams and went absolutely buck wild with planning, crafting, and constant new ideas. Not only did they make me feel validated, they worked endlessly and tirelessly to ensure my crazy dreams were being fulfilled. Fast forward to my wedding, which was flawless and hands down the greatest event any of our guests had ever been to, I truly have no idea how they possibly managed to make every single moment, event, idea, and more so incredibly perfect (but I suspect magic and a lot of hard work), all with a giant smile on their face. My music festival wedding went off without a hitch, even in 93 MPH winds. Tears come to my eyes as I write this because it was a near impossible task that they beyond delivered on. There is not one moment the entire day or night that I would change for all the money in the world. It was better than I ever could have dreamed, and this is all because of these incredibly talented women at Epic Thyme. My husband, our guests, and I are beyond blessed with the memories of this magical day and the world is truly a better place because of the work that they do. We carry a very extension emergency kit to each event and we definitely used ALL our gnarly carpet tape and sticky putty to literally GLUE all the decor down to withstand the 93 MPH wind! Compared to other reviews, mine might look a little different. Because after almost a year of working with Christi to plan my wedding, my wedding was cancelled due to personal reasons. So was I able to witness Christi being organized and on top of everything on the day of my wedding? No, but my review is just as valuable. It’s important to know how a vendor handles things when all is going well, but especially is &$@# hits the fan. Because through all of the stress and pain of cancelling a wedding, Christi treated me with love, kindness, understanding, and compassion. She helped me every step of the way. She checked in with me, contacted all of my vendors, consistently followed up with vendors, and gave me extremely valuable advice. She never treated me like “just a client”. She genuinely treated me like a friend. I am very thankful for Christi and for all of her kindness and guidance through this last year. While I was wedding planning, we met monthly to go over wedding planning. She uses a wedding planning online system that is absolutely amazing! She is extremely organized and passionate. She is creative and has amazing and innovative ideas. I love to plan, but I had too many ideas. Christi helped me finalize details and narrow things down. I always felt heard and she truly helped me plan the wedding of my dreams. She will be there every step of the way with you and make sure everything gets done on your to do list. I highly recommend Christi to anyone and everyone planning a wedding. -

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because Christi Nasser with Epic Thyme deserves it. Christi was the best part of our wedding, and we are forever grateful we were lucky enough to hire her. When I first reached out to Christi she was on a weekend snowboard trip with friends, but the venue I was interested in was "close" (not really) so she agreed to sneak away and meet with me. I knew after our first meeting I needed Christi's expertise with my wedding planning venture. Christi was the first wedding decision we made in regards to our wedding, and I am so thankful we had her for literally EVERY step of the process. She helped us with venue ideas, dates (even checking the weather to make sure it would be what we wanted that time of year!) design ideas, hiring vendors, budgeting, websites and so much more. I was shocked at her organization and professionalism. Christi went above and beyond in every way. Her customer service and wedding planning skills are truly unmatched. We worked with Christi for over a year and there wasn't a thing she missed along the way. I often joked that I didn’t feel like I was even a bride-to-be with my hair on fire planning, because I had Christi! The day of our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams, because of her. I wasn't stressed about a single thing and truly got to enjoy every minute of the day. Every detail of the wedding was PERFECT and the entire weekend was seamless. My husband and I have had an overwhelming amount of positive feedback on our wedding and we it owe it all to Christi and her EPIC TEAM!!! They embody that word in its entirety. My fiance and I procrastinated planning our wedding, neither of us is a great event planner, so we knew we needed some help. We had intro conversations with a few wedding planners, but Christi at Epic Thyme stood out from the rest. She was so optimistic, kind, friendly, chill - we felt like planning a wedding was possible with her help! She listened to what we wanted, had a ton of ideas from the start, then sent us a whole perfect plan in two days! We were amazed. Then.... the pandemic happened, things were shutting down, and we had no idea how long it would last. We were lost, all over the place, and finally decided on a small immediate family only wedding that we had to plan in 2 months (due to the start of winter in Lake Tahoe). We would NEVER have been able to pull it all off without Christi. She had zoom meetings with us every week and kept us on track. Because we live in Denver and weren't going to see the venue until the wedding, she even went and scoped it out for us! The whole wedding weekend went off seamlessly. She was at the venue before us the day before the wedding getting things set up with our vendors, and planning a rehearsal just to make sure it was all perfect. She took care of everything on the day of the wedding - our families were pretty amazed that they didn't have to run any last minute errands, help with setup, etc. Christi is super professional, fun, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and always has a smile on her face! Christi is truly the best! Such a fun personality with a proactive approach to everything. She is super thorough in her work and so pleasant to work with. She definitely kept us on track in planning our wedding and made it fun along the way. We had a lot to do still when we hired Christi, which was everything from vendor choosing to design and details, in just about 4 months - wedding date was 9/27/20.
With COVID and the CA fire season and PGE outages, we were definitely hit with some obstacles, but Christi helped us handle every single one quickly and effectively.
The day of our wedding, PG&E turned off the power during cocktail hour, luckily we had Christi to get the generators running!
For any Bride or Groom reading this review, this is one of the many reasons why you need a wedding coordinator! And Christi is your girl !!!! :)
All our guests keep complimenting on how well our coordinator (Christi) did, every single one of our guests enjoyed themselves!
We certainly couldn’t have pulled it off without Epic Thyme!

Christi planned the perfect wedding for us, twice. When we had to change our venue less than 2 months before the big day, she fearlessly took on the challenge. We never felt like we we were in bad hands. Christie’s good nature and lightheartedness helped smooth over any turmoil we encountered. At the end of our wedding journey, we emerged feeling accomplished, not exhausted.

Christi is THE BEST! We truly looked forward to our weekly calls and are sad they're over. Christi agreed to take us in as clients towards the end of our wedding planning for our wedding...then Covid happened and EVERYTHING had to be rethought. She was there for us and made our event so special. There were many days we felt defeated due to the pandemic, but Christi was always there to remind us of what we had to look forward to and came up with creative solutions to our hurdles. Epic Thyme truly went above and beyond for us. Our day was soooo stress free and seamless (even during a global pandemic) because of them. 10 Stars on a scale of 1-5. Christi Naser, owner of Epic Thyme, was the best addition to our wedding planning experience. We met at the Grass Valley Wedding Expo. After a quick introduction, Christi and I clicked and I knew she would be a perfect fit in making our dream wedding come true. The wedding and reception were at the Granlibakken Resort in Lake Tahoe and I hired Christi for her Day of the Wedding services. Christi made sure every detail came to life! She was attentive and patient to what we envisioned for our wedding and worked closely with us throughout the planning process. She kept us on track with monthly and weekly calls when the big day was approaching. She took care of so many behind the scene details to make sure everything was perfect. It was an amazing day and we were able to enjoy it stress free. Christi has a “yes, can do” attitude which left me at ease throughout the whole planning process. It truly was the best day of my life!! If you are looking for a great wedding planner, look no further, Christi is your girl!!

We started working with Christi in January of 2020 to plan our wedding in Lake Tahoe for this summer and could not have picked a better planner! Her network is extensive and her attention to detail is impeccable. We met with her on a Monthly basis to start, but were always in pretty close contact. She'll start you off with a list of to-do's built from her years of experience in the industry. No stone goes untouched! Even though we were a small, 10 person wedding, she went above and beyond in working with us and the vendors we chose to make sure our day felt special. When COVID hit, Christi was instrumental in helping us downsize our wedding and brainstorming ways for us to keep our wedding day fun and intimate. While we were one of her smaller weddings to date, having her there on the day and her creative touch were invaluable in making sure it went off without a hitch. Until you go through the process of planning a wedding, you have no idea what goes into it. Choosing to hire Epic Thyme as our wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding process. Christi was immensely helpful in keeping things moving and on track. Every meeting was meaningful and productive, which helped the daunting tasks become more manageable. You can tell Christi really wants to do everything possible to make the day perfect, and she is very good at what she does. From our first meeting, to the final touches, to the big day, Christi was there to see things through. She was hands down the hardest working person at our wedding.

As our wedding coordinator, she went above and beyond--she brought all kinds of beautiful decorations, led all set up and breakdown, checked in with our other vendors, served as an impromptu DJ on the day of, called to make plans numerous times in the months leading up to the event, and so much more. On top of all that, she was consistently kind, supportive, professional, and helpful. She came in during the final 2 months and totally brought everything together. Including-- totally setting up the venue on the day of the wedding and relieving us of any anxiety. She is young, energetic, organized, and has a great memory regarding the small details that we requested. I can't wait to hire her for another occasion!

Jessi, Monique and their team did a truly *epic* job of capturing our vision for our wedding day in June 2025 and executing flawlessly. From day one, they came in with energy, joy, enthusiasm and full support of making our dreams come true. And boy did we have some unconventional dreams, like my husband arriving to the ceremony by scuba diving up to the ceremony cite!! The venue gave us some grief, about that and many other things we wanted to achieve, but Epic Thyme navigated it perfectly and helped us execute everything we wanted. Their eye for style and design far surpasses our own, and the day of, they created absolutely magical, show-stopping visual impact.
