For wedding events, Oakhurst Hall offers the Château Lobby Bar, the Dogwood Room and the Garden Room, all overlooking the salt water outdoor pool. Should you desire an outdoor event, tents are available in the garden area and the pool can be covered with a plexiglass dance floor to create more outdoor space. Free parking and valeting comes with the use of the hall facilities.

The hotel sleeps 80-100 people depending on exact sleeping arrangements

History

The inn comprises two early 20th Century boarding houses, a professor's home and a 1915 fraternity house, all carefully renovated in either 2014 or 2019 to form a boutique hotel with cafe and bar. Early in the 20th century, the Chariman of the Faculty'd s family opened two boarding houses for students in Charlottesville. Prior to this, students attending the University of Virginia had few options for accommodation. In 2007, local investors bought the buildings. An 18-month renovation resulted in the current hotel, Oakhurst Inn, now with Oakhurst Hall attached.

Location

This venue is located in a National Historic District and is conveniently located adjacent to UVA. You can walk across the road to UVA’s Central Grounds, or take a quarter-mile walk to Scott Stadium or the Lawn. With a free trolley for access to the Downtown Mall and around the UVA campus, you can find plenty to see and do.
