Oak Pointe Plantation is situated on 40 acres of Plush Green Grass, Ancient Old Oak Trees dripping with Spanish Moss and Overlooks the Intercostal Waterway. The Pointe is surrounded not just by the large River but also a Creek that runs up along the property making it a very beautiful island.
We believe there is not another location in Charleston that compares to the pure beauty of this plantation.
Onsite, we offer a Guest cottage that serves as the Bridal Suite and another large room for the Groomsmen.
We are pleased to say that we also offer a one stop venue for all of your wedding needs including Catering, Bar, Rentals, coordination, Event Design, Day of set up and Clean up for additional fees.

Charleston is #2 in the nation for destination weddings, and I have worked as a professional wedding Dj at most of them at least once. I've been in the wedding industry since 2001, and have met caterers, venue coordinators and land owners. Out of all the venues I have ever worked in, as a professional wedding Dj, Oak Point plantation is, bare none, the most elegant and professionally staffed group of folks I've ever met! The beautiful white tent, with designer lighting was magnificent. The evenly laid cobble stone pathway was obviously created by a master builder, with safety in mind. The wrap around porch of the plantation house played well with the old southern flair. The ceremony was located down by the big Oak tree by the river, which gave way to the beautiful landscape surrounding the entire plantation. Everyone had a magnificent time, and a lot of memories were made Oct 18th 2014 at the Woodall wedding.Sent on 11/19/2014

This is, by far, the most beautiful venue to which I've ever had the pleasure of attending an event. The weather was perfect.Sent on 11/22/2014
The venue is on the Stono River which meanders around in a lazy fashion. The river has just enough presence to add to the beauty, but is not so large as to overtake the scenery.
There are stunning live oaks draped in Spanish Moss. lining the river's edge as a beautiful backdrop. The sunset was spectacular and set a most romantic mood. I saw many couples walk down to the river's edge to take advantage of the sunset for their own pictures. Mother Nature does not disappoint.

Wow!!!! That's all I can say about this venue location. I have never had my breath taken away by something as beautiful as I did for my wedding! This gorgeous venue was right on the water and had the most beautiful oak trees and views I have ever seen. From the moment I stepped foot on this property, I knew I wanted to be married here! The landscape and views are truly to die for. On my wedding as soon as I saw the venue, I started crying because I had never seen something as beautiful as that day. The cool breeze blowing off the water and the beautiful big oak trees offer so much! It is so warm and inviting and makes you smile. And when the sun sets, the most gorgeous views are over the dock on the water. I have some of the most gorgeous pictures back from the photographer with the sun setting in the back!! I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. It's a fairytale dream come true kind of spot!!Sent on 11/24/2014
