Founders Hall was an amazing venue for my wedding! We had our ceremony on the screened porch and it was so beautiful!

The atmosphere and food were excellent. i've never been to HOB before and I heard their food was great, but WOW! it was really, really good. The chicken was hot, tendor and juicy, the potatoes didn't have to much garlic and weren't runny. All the food was hot and they brought it out as soon as we arrived. We did have an issue with some of our mixed drinks. They started using a new blendor and we had some peices of plastic in our daiquries but once I told the bar tender they took them back. She wasn't going to take them off our bill but I said she was b/c that's not my fault for having a faulty blender.. The server was great, the event coordinator was there to get us whatever we needed and was such a big help. I loved the room we were in. It was cozy and off the side of the main event building. We could hear the music from the other room which was nice but it wasn't to loud where we couldn't hear anyone talk. A great time and great place for our reception!

The best decision I made when planning my wedding was using Runnymede Plantation!! It was absolutely stunning! Tiffany was so great to work with. She was quick to respond to any questions I had, and she was very helpful throughout the planning process. There were several added expenses that came along with using the property that I wasn't expecting. The only thing on site is a tent (which is very large and nice!), but everything else needs to be brought in. There was absolutely no lighting, restrooms, tables/chairs, etc. but Tiffany made great recommendations for everything to help me. I planned everything from Kansas so her guidance was really really helpful! Overall, my wedding was a dream come true and everyone raved about how gorgeous it turned out. I couldn't be happier with having my wedding at Runnymede!!!

We are in love with this space and everyone that runs the venue! After our original wedding venue fell through the team here was super responsive and helpful to come to our rescue. The garden and rooftop are beautiful and in the heart of downtown. As a bride the suites were amazing to get ready in and relax after the reception. This place is very affordable for downtown even including the accommodations. Above all the customer service from Jamie went above and beyond what we were expecting and really meant a lot to this stressed out bride. She even helped us secure last minute details and was so understanding of our situation. Everything was perfect for our wedding of about 50.
