Our wedding at Lowndes Grove was an absolute dream! This venue is truly one of the most breathtaking locations, with its stunning waterfront views, historic charm, and picturesque setting. Every detail, from the gorgeous oak trees to the elegant architecture, created the perfect backdrop for our special day. Erin, our event manager was absolutely incredible making sure that everything throughout the day ran smoothly. Beyond the beauty of the venue, the staff at Lowndes Grove is what truly sets it apart. They were exceptional in every way—professional, attentive, and dedicated to making sure our day was flawless. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. The food was also FANTASTIC and our guests couldn't get over the cuisine as well as the incredible service. Our guests were in awe of the venue, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our love. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is both breathtaking and backed by an amazing team, Lowndes Grove is simply the best!

I had a beautiful September wedding at the Rice Mill. I cannot thank Tristan and the team at Holy City Hospitality enough for the venue and services for my wedding. I was impressed with all of the time and effort Tristan (day of coordinator) invested in helping us coordinate every moment of the event and coordinate with the vendors. This was particularly helpful because everyone at the wedding (including myself) were not local to the area. Tristan and the team provided us recommendations and assistance throughout the entire wedding planning process. Our rehearsal dinner was held at Virginia on Kings (another restaurant part of the Holy City Hospitality Group), the food was great (no one left hungry). It was helpful and efficient planning both events with the same Hospitality Team. The venue was beautiful and a perfect size for our wedding of approx. 80 people. The wedding ceremony and reception was executed exactly as planned. The food and drinks were impressive and tasty. As a Type A bride, it felt great being able to rely on a coordinator and team I trusted to make my day perfect. I would highly recommend others to choose the Historic Rice Mill for a beautiful, memorable wedding.

Old Wide Awake was the perfect backdrop and partner for our wedding. Having Margaret as our fearless wedding planner was an added bonus. She was so knowledgeable about the property, and knew how to make every last detail work: from timeline to reception layout, getting ready to guest arrivals, all the way to our departure. All of the staff at OWA were so friendly and easy to work with, and as one of the first weddings under new ownership, it was absolutely seamless. We were so honored to be under their care, and they truly gave us one of the best and most memorable days of our lives. I hope one day we get invited to another OWA wedding just so we get to experience the magic again!

Maddie, Paige, and the entire KSHG team were absolutely incredible throughout the whole process. From the initial meeting to their help, coordination, and spirit on the day, we could not have been happier! They answered every question so promptly and with such positivity. When it came to the tasting, they made it one of our favorite aspects of wedding planning and truly thought of every detail. Finally on the day, it was the most incredible service from the staff and Paige always seemed to be perfectly present just when we thought of something while calmly maneuvering the timeline of the day. The Gadsden House was so perfect for our vision. The food… incredible. We came away wishing we could do it again! Thank you to the KSHG team, y’all are the best.

I found The Ranch just in time to get my party catered by them. My experience was outstanding and the staff was so nice and willing to accommodate with my schedule. The pricing was reasonable and affordable. My guests loved the food, and my party was a hit. It was a company party so I had around 37 people.

We got married on November 22, 2025 at The Island House, and we are so happy we chose it as our venue. Nestled right on the Stono River, it is truly a hidden gem. My husband and I are Charleston natives, and I had never even heard of this venue before we started touring, but it ended up being absolutely perfect for us. After booking, we even discovered a special connection: my husband’s father had ties to the family that runs the property, which made choosing The Island House feel even more meaningful. Katie Mahon was instrumental in helping us plan our wedding at The Island House. She patiently answered our endless emails and questions and made sure her team was fully prepared and on top of every detail on the wedding day—and they absolutely were. Everything was executed flawlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without worry. The venue was especially beautiful in the fall, and we couldn’t imagine a better place to have celebrated our wedding. We are beyond grateful to The Island House and its team for making our day so special.

When we first tour Lovegrove Estate we just thought wow. It is just beautiful , private , full of history and beautiful oaks with Spanish moss everywhere. Our event was beautiful and everyone is still talking about it.
