I was planning my destination wedding in South Carolina looking at venues near the Charleston area when we drove by the (gorgeous) entrance of Eden and decided to Google what it was. To my surprise it was a wedding venue and we booked a tour that same day. This venue wasn’t even on our radar but fate brought us to its doorstep and it was the best decision we made for our wedding. All the other “plantation style” venues we looked at were super expensive with tons of rules, restrictions and hidden fees - not Eden. Eden is such a gorgeous property you don’t even need much to make it feel beautiful. From the gorgeous lakes, to the avenue of oak trees, to the rustic-chic barn with its gorgeous chandeliers - this place is a dream! My wedding was so stunning thanks to Laura and her team at Eden at Gracefield. If you’re looking for that SC plantation feel, this is the spot!

I had my wedding here in February 2026 and truly have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue!

When we started searching for venues in December 2024, I looked everywhere for a place with Charleston charm but without the hidden fees, strict rules and timelines, and wandering tourists around every corner. This venue checked every single box and more.

One of the first things that stood out was the transparency on their website. You can immediately see clear pricing and available dates without having to go back and forth for weeks just to get information. They also offer 3D tours of the chapel, barn, and all of the homes and cottages so you can really get a feel for the property before visiting.

Once we connected with Laura, the experience only got better. She is incredibly responsive, honest, and helpful throughout the entire process. The team at Eden truly understands weddings and everything that comes along with them, and they go above and beyond to make your day as perfect as possible. I even saw the landscaping team working for hours to make sure the property looked absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend.

And yes — wedding weekend! One of the most unique and valuable parts of this venue is that you get the entire property from Friday through Sunday, including multiple homes for your bridal party and family to stay in. Being able to arrive Friday morning, unpack, and settle in made the whole experience so relaxing. My entire family and wedding party stayed on the property, which meant no stress about people running late or coordinating transportation. It also gave us the chance to truly spend the entire weekend together.

Another huge benefit was knowing no one had to drive home after drinking, and we were able to clean up Sunday morning instead of late Saturday night. If you’ve ever been to a wedding where the bride and groom are cleaning up for hours after their own reception, you know how big of a luxury that is!

On top of all of this, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. I am still receiving compliments about how beautiful it was. There truly is nothing else like it anywhere near Charleston. For the price, you get privacy, accommodations, a gorgeous venue, tables and chairs, flexibility, transparency, and a team of people who genuinely care about making your day perfect.

There are no required vendors, but they provide a list of recommended vendors who know the venue extremely well and are wonderful to work with. Every vendor I used came from this list (which is also transparently listed on their website), and they were all fantastic.

If you are getting married anywhere in the Lowcountry, in my opinion there is no competition. I would choose this venue again a million times!

We fell in love with Eden the second we drove onto the property. It is a stunning venue and has everything you need to have a whole wedding weekend there. (And we were able to have our dog included in the ceremony which was the one thing we really wanted). We had a January wedding, and being from Charleston, it could be 70 degrees or freezing, so we took our chances. We had a little cooler day but overall it was beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for it to have been any other way. We had all the fire pits going and heaters inside the barn just in case, and that was plenty to keep our guests warm by the end of the night. The houses on the property were a huge selling point for us as we were able to have all of the bridal party stay from Friday-Sunday and could get in early Friday morning to decorate and get settled in. The staff and owners are very prompt in responding to any questions we had in the planning process and were very accommodating to us. We also had our engagement pictures done here and they turned out stunning as well. I love Eden so much and hope to get to go there for another wedding someday! We still get compliments of how beautiful the venue and our wedding was. Thank you for making our wedding weekend truly magical and unforgettable! Highly recommend!

Eden was such an incredible venue for our wedding. The owner was helpful and responsive throughout the whole planning process. Almost every vendor we booked had already done weddings at Eden so they were familiar and had nothing but positive things to say about working with the venue. The property itself is gorgeous and expansive. All the houses are beautiful, comfortable and so well maintained. We were able to house the entire wedding party and most immediate family which was perfect! Would highly recommend!

There are no words to express my gratitude of EVERYONE who made our special day possible! Eden at Gracefield is not only beautiful, but they have the best staff that made us feel like family.

If you are looking for the most magical place in the world to get married, this is the spot for you! We celebrated our wedding here this past weekend and couldn't have had a better experience. We rented the barn for the reception and all of the houses on the property for the weekend so that our friends and family could stay and enjoy this beautiful place. The houses are incredibly decorated, welcoming, and clean! The fishing and pool kept the boys busy all weekend long. The beautiful houses made for the perfect getting-ready photos with the girls. The reception barn is phenomenal! All of my guests were comfortable and truly felt the magic of this special place. Mrs. Laura and her staff are beyond friendly, caring, and accommodating! Thank you Eden at Gracefield for providing me with the most perfect setting for my dream wedding!

My husband and I loved everything about this venue! Our ceremony was held under the oak trees with the reception in the beautiful event barn. Everything was so beautiful and well maintained. There are several rental homes on the property for guests. We rented the Tobacco Barn for the guys to hang out and get ready, super convenient and such a beautiful home! Definitely recommend!!

Overall, the property is undeniably beautiful with its stunning surroundings and well-maintained facilities. However, my experience was marred by the owner's racist behavior, which made the entire process a nightmare. It is disappointing and unacceptable to encounter such discriminatory treatment in a place that should be welcoming to all guests. The owner does everything in her power to absorb your deposit. So if you book this place, consider your deposit a tip for her and the cleaners.
