We loved working with Autumn and the Cannon Green staff for our wedding. They made the process so smooth and easy, and every interaction was very professional and friendly. Our guests were blown away by the venue and especially by the food. We would absolutely recommend having your wedding at Cannon Green!

We truly cannot say enough good things about Hotel Emeline and the entire team, especially Cornelious. From start to finish, the experience was completely seamless, and there were absolutely zero issues along the way (which feels unheard of when planning a wedding!). The whole team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Cornelious was incredible to work with; he was professional, responsive, calm, and genuinely invested in making our day special. The level of flexibility and customization they offered made the planning process feel easy and truly tailored to us. Our guests also raved about the room accommodations. Everything was comfortable, convenient, and beautifully done. On top of that, the team handled allergy and dietary accommodations flawlessly, which meant so much to us and our guests. Everyone felt genuinely cared for. And the food… WOW. It was phenomenal. We are still getting messages about how amazing everything tasted. From the service to the space to the execution, Hotel Emeline exceeded our expectations in every possible way. If you’re considering Hotel Emeline for a wedding or any event, book it. You will be in the best hands, and your guests will be talking about it long after the night ends.

Perfect venue for a wedding reception! Ask for Nicole! My husband and I had our wedding reception here and Nicole was beyond helpful! The space was the perfect size for our guests! Nicole helped set up the venue and it looked like a dream! So much more perfect than we could have imagined! It has that southern charm, rustic look to it. Perfect if you want the Charleston feel.

This is one of the most beautiful and unique spaces in Charleston. Erin was so easy to get ahold of and very kind.

Sales team professional and accommodating. The venue was perfect with 3 levels, allowing for dancing, eating and conversing with ease and enjoyment. Plus it’s so very “Charleston” in its feel.

Poogan’s Courtyard was the perfect venue for our intimate 50-person wedding. It captured everything we were looking for—romantic, historic Charleston charm with just the right touch of elegance. The exposed brick walls, copper bar, and large windows surrounding the lush little courtyard made the space feel both cozy and absolutely stunning. It truly felt like a hidden gem in the heart of the city. From the moment we reached out, the team at Poogan’s was amazing to work with. Zoe, the sales manager, was our main point of contact and she was wonderful—responsive, helpful, and always made us feel confident and taken care of throughout the planning process. On the day of, Emily stepped in as the venue coordinator and she was just as fantastic, making sure everything ran smoothly so we could fully enjoy the day. And the food! So many of our guests (and vendors!) told us it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding—and we couldn’t agree more. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. If you’re considering Poogan’s Courtyard for your wedding or any private event, do it. We can’t recommend it highly enough. It was everything we dreamed of and more!
