Cannon Green is one of Charleston’s most unique properties, and indeed, a microcosm of the southern city itself—capturing its romance, history, preservation, and charm all in one extraordinary venue. Located in the Cannonborough - Elliotborough neighborhood, Cannon Green incorporates a 19th-century Charleston Single House facade within our indoor Garden Room––a refined and airy 50-seat private event space––along with two adjoining entertainment spaces––a lush and intimate Courtyard and our spacious historic Trolley Room. The result is an innovative fusion of function and beauty to create a vibrant space for hosting your wedding weekend festivities.

Cannon Green is owned by Easton Porter Group co-founders Lynn Easton and Dean Andrews. The couple designed the venue together—a true marriage of their talents. Andrews has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry developing luxury properties, and Easton is a nationally recognized wedding planner and event stylist.

The Courtyard adjoins the Trolley Room and includes a tranquil garden with reflecting pools and rows of statuesque palmettos. Host your ceremony or begin your evening with an alfresco cocktail hour in the Courtyard. This space offers options for display stations, portable bars, evocative landscape lighting, candlelit lanterns, and a Sonos sound system. A beautiful clear-top tent can be installed in the Courtyard for an additional fee. Up to 150 guests for a seated ceremony.
The Trolley Room is Cannon Green’s signature event venue. This 3,000-square-foot, column-free space features the original architecture including the warehouse’s king trusses, and evokes an urban-infused charm of times past. The historic and inviting atmosphere coupled with modern features, white oak wood floors, ambient lighting, a Sonos sound system, and established locations for sound stages comprises the thoughtful touches necessary for today’s seamless events. Up to 150 guests for a seated dinner and up to 250 guests for a stationed dinner.
The Garden Room, centered around the restored, original facade of an 1840s Charleston single house, offers authentic historic local flavor combined with tasteful contemporary design. Boasting a 1,500-square-foot versatile floor plan, the Garden Room offers comfortable elegance and privacy for rehearsal dinners, luncheons, and evening receptions. Events in this unique, full-service space highlight both Charleston’s culinary renaissance and timeless aesthetic. The private Garden Room, which includes a bar, tabletop, and chairs, is adjacent to the Trolley Room and Courtyard but rented separately. Up to 50 guests for a seated dinner, 75 guests for a stationed dinner, and up to 85 guests for a cocktail reception.

Canceled all other tours once I saw Cannon Green!
A massive shout-out to the venue coordinator, Autumn—she was absolutely AMAZING. She was always incredibly prompt in replying to our questions and constantly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.
The entire team was the definition of professional and worked so well together. On top of the service, the food and drinks were some of the best I have ever had at a wedding (and our guests agreed!). We are so pleased with our choice and couldn't have imagined a more perfect day.

Best wedding venue on east coast
We were extremely detailed and picky looking at wedding venues and fell in love with Cannon Green's aethestic, personality, what they had to offer and Autumn, the event manager.
We wanted to have our wedding here, but our party size was too large for a seated dinner so we had a 96 person rehearsal dinner and 225 welcome party and our guests cannot stop talking about how fabulous it was!!
Autumn was an absolute dream to work with. She was so organized, detailed oriented, helpful, thoughtful and just the sweetest soul in the world! Autumn went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process.
She helped us from the very beginning all the way to the end. On our rehearsal night she worked ungodly hours to make sure it was absolutely perfect for us! Autumn is the perfect event manager and Cannon Green is so so lucky to have her! We worked with a different venue for our wedding and Autumn's colors really shined through since we had a few hiccups with our other venue (I know we shouldnt compare but Autumn was 12/10). No detail was missed and she was so thoughtful, intentional, professional and overall just made the event absolutely seamless (which you know never happens at weddings or large events).
The entire Cannon Green crew made it so easy for us to have this event. It was so incredibly special and they went above and beyond for us.
When guests arrived, they had wine prepoured and ready to hand to guests. During dinner, they had tableside wine service (which is unheard of with other venues in Charleston). They made sure they were staffed correctly and with our large party, there really were not any lines! It was so impressive!
For the canapes, for the bride and groom, you have your own waitress walking around and following you with your canapes- it was true service!
The food was delicious and our guests adored everything that Cannon Green prepared. It was a top notch event all thanks to Autumn and her team.
The bar manager was also unbelievable. I mean how many people get to meet their bar manager for the party? Not many! Cannon Greens went above and beyond in all aspects and was so helpful at the end of the night. I would rebook this venue 100/100 times and I would work with Autumn and her team again 10000 times over!

It also helped that the weather was perfect! High 50s to low 60s with no humidity in Charleston made it perfect! Cannon Green put the heaters out and made it such a cozy experience for our guests. The courtyard was fabulous and the Trolley Room was a full on party! I didnt think people would dance at the welcome party but our DJ really made it a party and our guests danced the night away! At the end of the night most of our guests were like wow is this not the wedding? I cannot imagine what tomorrow will be like.
Cannon Green also put our photos on the projector when you walked into Wild Common and it was so special.
Everything at Cannon Green was absolutely beautiful and we are forever grateful to Autumn and her team for the most fabulous experience!
