Facilities and Capacity
The interior of the building is characterized by its classic architectural charm. Strategically placed plants, rich jewel-toned, and mid-century furniture help to evoke a sense of time-honored luxury. This hotel has eight event rooms available for use. Hayne Street Gallery, the venue’s largest space, can comfortably host a reception of up to 350 guests. Outdoor gatherings can be held in the courtyard, a fully furnished reception area complete with outdoor heating.
Services Offered
True to their tradition of enthusiastic customer service, Emeline offers all-inclusive packages and tailored services for the newlyweds-to-be. Included in these packages are get-ready rooms, event setup, an option to hire outside vendors, and accommodations for the wedding party. Catering services are available and begin with tastings to ensure that the menu is unique to each couple. A cocktail reception can be arranged, with the option of a signature drink for guests to enjoy upon arrival. Table settings can be managed by the hotel’s dedicated staff, with barware, flatware, and linens provided.
Cuisine
The hotel’s in-house bistro, Frannie and the Fox, specializes in American cuisine with Italian influences. In addition to this charming eatery, the hotel is home to Hank’s Social Hall, a sophisticated event space serving classic Charleston seafood. In addition, the on-site Clerks Coffee Company is a terrific spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and energize yourself before the day’s events.

You NEED the Emeline!
I cannot say enough about how amazing the wedding planning process has been at the Emeline with Cornelious Martinet, the Director of Catering and Events. He is professional, in a personal way, responsive and dedicated. The item at top of my list for "AHHH this is amazing!" is the diagram that he creates for the ceremony and reception area. For those brides that are type A or have a hard time visualizing things this was a game changer. I know so many ladies that spend hours on Canva and still aren't able to create what they need. He does it FOR you and will adjust and move things as you want! He has been super responsive: mind you my wedding is in another year, but he treats me as if its next month. He is very willing to toss around ideas and give you honest feedback. I have had such a stress-free planning experience and I attribute all of that to my amazing easy-going mom, a hand on groom and Cornelious! If you're on the fence about locking in Emeline- DO IT! 10/10 you won't regret!

Cornelious began his hospitality career in 2016 as a guest services associate at Bellows Lodge in Waimanalo, Hawaii. In the spring of 2017, he was selected to participate in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World, where he acquired numerous valuable skills that he continues to use today. After completing the internship, he moved to Savannah, Georgia, where he spent over three years working in various departments with Hilton.
Cornelious later took on a part-time role in events while managing multiple departments full-time at The Red Fox Inn & Tavern, the oldest continuously operated inn in the United States. He then ventured back to Savannah as the Catering Sales & Conference Services Manager for Mansion on Forsyth Park, where he sold, planned, and executed large events for luxury clients. In this role, he had the most exciting and rewarding part of his career, managing group events for 150-200 guests.
With a passion for weddings, Cornelious is thrilled to welcome couples to Emeline, offering his wedding expertise and unparalleled guest service throughout the planning process.
