Nana’s Porch is a catering company located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Nana’s Porch has been offering Southern cuisine with an uptown twist at weddings and other events for years. As a family-owned business founded by Chris Payne and Hannah Coleman Dickerson, the company celebrates the strong Southern women of the family as well as their culinary skill set. Guests are made to feel as if they are taken back to Nana’s screened-in porch where traditional Southern food is enjoyed while sipping on sweet tea and lemonade.

Cuisine

Nana’s Porch offers a wonderful variety of traditional Southern food. Chris brings a well-developed skill set on the grill and wood smoker, and Hannah adds an uptown twist to the memorable favorites from the South with her formal culinary education. The company will customize all food to your specific wedding desires. In addition to their main cuisine options, they also offer dessert bar selections and candy buffets. Good food and even better service!

We hired Nana’s for our wedding and they were AMAZING! We got so many compliments on the food and the staff was so great to work with. Our wedding was a few weeks ago at this point and people are still raving about how good the food was! Everyone we worked with was very attentive and professional. Hannah was so flexible with us throughout the whole process and she always responded quickly to our emails. Everything went so smoothly the day of the wedding and I would highly recommend Nana’s for any event!

Delicious food and amazing service!

The service was amazing as well as the food! I heard nothing but great things from our guests. I highly recommend Nana’s porch to anyone looking to have a caterer. Hannah and Chris had great communication with me and are very sweet! Thank you guys for being amazing!

Wedding Catering

Hannah was an absolute pleasure to work with and she answered every single one of my questions, no matter how small! I also appreciated her flexibility as we changed our menu a couple times. On the day of, herself and her team made everything easy and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They even setup the donuts I had delivered from a local shop! The food was delicious and our guests raved about the chicken and waffles - no surprise!

Bonus points to Hannah for remembering that I mentioned my husband inquired about if there would be hot sauce for the bbq. Hannah hand delivered a bottle of hot sauce directly to us!

Thank you Nana’s Porch! We will definitely recommend you to our friends and family!

Delicious food and wonderful service

Nanas Porch did a fabulous job catering our event. They were easy to work with and the guests were very pleased. I definitely recommend the chicken and waffles as well as fried green tomatoes. I loved how she provided to go boxes for guests to bring some delicious treats home for later.

Amazing food, great service!

Nanas Porch definitely was a great addition to my magical night! Hannah was so responsive throughout the whole process answering my every silly question. Day out of we had no issues, everything went flawlessly. Food was absolutely delicious. My top faves was the chicken breast, green beans and mashed potatoes. I definitely got to eat at my wedding!

Cater through Nana's Porch if You Want to WOW Your Guests

I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about Nana's Porch. First, their food is delicious! Its creative and full of flavor and the portions are not lacking! My friends and family at my wedding are still raving about the food and how great it was! Second, the service was top notch! Hannah was so responsive and communicative. I never felt confused or out of the loop and the day of service was so fun and friendly! We reserved the food truck which was so fun and our guests really enjoyed talking to the Nana's Porch crew! Finally, you get your band for your buck! The most stressful part of wedding planning was finding a caterer that had great food and didn't burn through your wallet. I felt like Nana's Porch's pricing was fair and do-able for even low budget wedding's. All in all, I am deeply grateful to Nana's Porch and their awesome team for making wedding planning easier and adding such great value to our day. Will forever recommend them to all my friends getting married!

Phenomenal

The food was delicious and complemented by everyone throughout our reception. Our venue came to let us know that they were one of the most professional caterers they had ever had. They communicated well, budget friendly and all around just a 10/10.

Amazing Food and Service!!!

I hired Nana's Porch for my wife’s 50th surprise birthday party. We had over 80 people and every person told me it was some of the best food they ever had. I had the Uptown Cheese Steak made with brisket and it was amazing!! I was speaking with friends day after the party who said the tacos were unbelievable or the burger was amazing. Therefore, my only disappointment was that I didn’t get to try everything. The service was fantastic and Hannah was on top of everything from the moment I reached out to hire them for the party. I can’t wait to have another party so I can hire them again. Thanks for making this celebration a memorable experience for wife and all the guests.
