Providence Cotton Mill was the best venue we could've picked for our wedding. From the beautiful venue itself all the way down to the staff led by Sommer it was first class. If you're planning an upcoming wedding they should be number 1, 2 and 3 on your list!

The most BEAUTIFUL venue around! From the time we booked to the wedding day everything was organized and ran smoothly! Sommer and her team went above and beyond to make our day special. We had so many guests tell us how unique and gorgeous this venue was! I cannot recommend this venue enough!

This is the first review I feel compelled to write in 62 years because I feel very strongly about what I’m about to write. The Providence Cotton Mill is a stunning wedding venue. The owners, Sommer and Ethan, and their associates worked extremely hard to make my daughter’s wedding day perfect! I walked away at the end of the night feeling like everyone at The Providence Cotton Mill would have not accepted anything less.

The building is a gorgeous stucco/old brick structure with many large windows allowing the sun to peak through providing numerous opportunities for beautiful one of kind wedding pictures. This is only one component of why The Providence Cotton Mill is a prime venue.

The other reason and the most important reason is the owners, Sommer and her husband, and their associates. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. Leading up to my daughter’s wedding, every single email was answered quickly, even if there were several emails sent in one day or a question was asked previously. Sommer was our month of and day of planner. She was a literal wizard handling every single little detail before, during and after the wedding with enthusiasm and in a calm manner. Her associates were equally as helpful and enthusiastic.

We had an unfortunate problem with charters buses we hired to transport guests to and from the venue. The morning after the wedding, Sommer was still assisting us by sending an email to her contact at the bus company demanding answers and some sort of compensation for us.

I wholeheartedly recommend The Providence Cotton Mill. For the reasons mentioned above, your wedding day will be everything you envision it to be if you have it there.

All of our guests can agree: the venue made our wedding day!! The Providence Cotton Mill is so beautiful alone, we were able to spend less money on flowers and decor because it speaks for itself. The team at PCM was extremely responsive and answered any questions we had. Sommer was a great contact and was very helpful throughout the process. She was willing to work with us on a few things and helped make our day special! We were torn on the venue given it was far out, but If you are on the fence DO IT!! It was worth it and I can't imagine having it anywhere else. We transported our guests via buses and it was perfect. I highly recommend PCM.

My husband and I got married at the mill in December and let me tell you, it was the most beautiful day. Everything was so calm due to the fact that they have an amazing team on staff to ensure the day ran as smoothly as possible. We had endless compliments about the location as well as how wonderful it was to be in an indoor / outdoor facility during COVID. All of our guests felt safe and comfortable due to their safety procedures in place. All in all, a wonderful experience. The bridal and room suites were just what we needed. The owners, Sommer and Ethan, were a pleasure to work with, as well as their decor team at Elegant Classy Events, which they also own.

We orginally was gonna do our wedding in SC because that was where I was from.
When we found this venue online, we thought it was too good to be true or if maybe the pictures were just deceiving us.
When we were able to see the venue with our own eyes. We fell in love. It was my vision to have nice high ceiling and lots and lots of natural sunlight shinging through. It was the perfect place we wanted. The venue looked exactly like how the pictures were when we looked.
The owners were just as awesome as the venue.
They did their very best to make your day the best of your life. They also had great staff, they all worked together and also recommended great vendors. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a big spacious place, yet so simple and beautiful.

This venue and staff was absolutely perfect. They made our wedding day a dream! Even without tables and decor, this venue was beautiful. It’s a hidden gem in the small town of Maiden, NC.

This venue is stunning! My guests could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. If you're looking for a truly unique place to get married- this is it. Ethan and the whole staff are amazing and so easy to work with. I couldn't recommend them more!

Couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect wedding venue

I never imagined we could capture the dream our daughter had for an "outdoor, fairy tale ,romantic, and elegant wedding".
The providence Cotton Mill provided the outdoor open air feel with coverage from the downpour of rain that day. The owner was exceptional, working with us on timeline with bridal portraits, onsite meetings, etc as my daughter experienced some traumatic medical diagnosis during her wedding planning. Ethan worked with us scheduling bridal portraits and meetings any time we needed him. Together with his wife, Somer (Elegant and Classy Events, for floral and rental) , they captured and created the wedding my daughter has always envisioned. They were onsite, professional, took care of situations that came up without us ever having to worry about anything! If you are searching for someone that will work with you every step of the way while making you feel you are the only bride they have, look no further!
