Mike Zhu is THE ABSOLUTE GREATEST WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER. Professional, kind, and responsive throughout the entire process, from the moment we contacted him, to my many questions throughout the year, to receiving our videos. I loved every minute of working with him. And the finished product... there are no words to express how talented he is! He works so stealthily. I really didn't even know he was there and he wasn't in my face at all. He moved around our tented, 200-person wedding with ease and didn't miss a moment. He returned our short trailer in under two weeks which was so incredible (I watch it almost daily to relive all the moments) and our long video in 2.5 or so months, which is also unheard of for most videographers. And the videos were just perfect. Every single minute of them had us laughing and crying and holding onto the memories. Our wedding planner loved him, my parents couldn't speak more highly of someone than him, and my husband and I adore him and his work. He might be the only wedding vendor we had that no one on our wedding team, nor us, had a single bone to pick with throughout the entire process. He's just fantastic! Hire a videographer and hire MIKE ZHU. You won't regret it!

We chose Mike for his creative eye and his documentary type style. What he delivered to my wife and I was absolutely stunning and flawless. We were left speechless. He was able to capture moments that we didn’t even know he witnessed. He blended in so seamlessly while filming; letting us feel comfortable and natural, letting us be, us. Videography was the second vendor that we sought out for our May 2022 (originally June 2021) wedding. Harry and I are incredibly decisive - I am pretty sure we literally only reached out to Mike Zhu just based on how fun the weddings in his videos were. After speaking with Mike, we knew he was the best choice for our wedding. He really understood Harry and I's romantic, dreamy, yet fun vibe we were aiming for with our wedding.

Mike was incredibly patient and caring with any question we had and ultimately when we had to postpone our wedding. He was really just an incredibly easy person to work with! Day of the wedding was an absolute breeze - Mike and Daphne are a great team and really helped bring out Harry and I's glamorous side when inside we were truthfully a puddle of nerves. They really made us look good! :D

Overall, we are just so happy with all the work we received from Mike (and we got a TON for the amount of the package). Mike's professionalism and positivity really made our day perfect. We are forever grateful for the gorgeous memories captured by Mike and Daphne on our wedding day. Highly recommend and can't wait to see him at a future wedding!

Mike is truly a master at capturing your big day. Originally, I had planned for no videographer and just pictures. But once the pandemic forced us to postpone a whole year, I decided to add Mike to our team and I am SO glad I did. When we initially spoke, I had told Mike about my vision for our video and he exceeded our expectations and truly created a masterpiece. I can't believe I almost went through the biggest day of our lives without him! He was also very responsive and returned final edits in a timely manner. If you are still debating on adding a videographer to your day, DO IT!! You won't regret it and having Mike & Daphne capture your beautiful day will be the best decision you make for your wedding!

Mike Zhu films was one of our favorite wedding vendors to work with! We had two different wedding ceremonies, one in a very traditional orthodox christian church and one at the venue before the reception, on two different days and Mike and Daphne filmed both. I was nervous as to how they were going to use footage from two very different days to create one concise video, but they made the most perfect wedding video that we will forever treasure. Mike also went out of his way to help me when we needed to add a virtual component to our wedding ceremony last minute. Because of his guidance, those who could not attend the wedding due to covid were able to watch the ceremony live. This was outside his contract and what he agreed to do for us, so I was especially grateful when he offered to help with the virtual component.
Do not hesitate to book Mike and Daphne for your wedding, they will capture all the wonderful moments without ever being "in the way" and will give you a film that enables you to re-live your wedding forever.

And if you’re a little camera shy and think you’ll be awkward, don’t let it be a concern because you’ll hardly notice they’re there. He’ll give you little cues to get ‘the shot’ and it will feel totally natural.

Mike and his wife Daphne are an amazing team together! From the beginning Mike was communicative and helpful, answering any question especially during the uncertainty of the pandemic. The final product we received in such a timely manner blew us and our family and friends away. My family can’t stop talking about the quality of the footage of our videos. Everything came out exactly how I dreamed it would. My husband and I feel so lucky we have our wedding recorded and can look back on it in the years to come!

I hired Mike for my New Year's Eve wedding after attending a friend's wedding that he captured, and overall we're so happy with how everything turned out. Since we proceeded with a smaller wedding than initially planned due to COVID, video was extremely important to ensure we could share the day with the many friends and family who ultimately couldn't celebrate with us in person. Mike was extremely responsive and easy going during the planning process. Day of, I hardly felt like he nor his partner were there! They were not intrusive at all and it was so nice to see all of the moments they were able to capture afterwards. Mike turned around our teaser in a week, and trailer in less than a month, both of which we were able to share with friends and family eager to see content from the day. Our trailer truly captures the emotion of our day in just 3 minutes. I would definitely recommend Mike to any future couples - video is definitely an investment worth making!

Similarly to the other reviews for Mike, I can't say enough positive things. He was so easy to work with in advance of our wedding, with quick and clear responses and none of the back and forth haggling that comes with a lot of vendors. On the wedding day, I was worried about bright flash or obtrusive lighting, but I truly forgot he was even there- and when I saw the footage I couldn't believe what he captured. He and his partner were so pleasant and easy to work with on the day of...and the videos they produced for us are AMAZING. Our trailer was delivered so quickly, and done so well. It's been 4 months and we still receive compliments on it. Our full length film captured our day absolutely perfectly and allowed us to relive every detail of our wedding day. Mike even went back and added some extra footage that we asked for within a week! He was truly the best vendor out of our entire wedding/planning experience.

Mike did such an amazing job as our videographer and we cannot recommend him enough! We initially didn't think to get a videographer for our wedding but after some thought, we decided to hire one and we're so glad we did. Mike's video allowed us to re-live our big day and be in that moment again, something that photos just can't fully capture. I wanted our videographer to just capture the day as it naturally unfolded and Mike did just that. Everything in our video was so natural and candid and he captured our day perfectly. Not only that, Mike is highly professional and worked so well together with our photographer (which was so important!) so they never got in each others way and were both able to do their jobs perfectly. When we got the trailer back from him (less than two weeks after the wedding!) it was absolutely perfect - the style of the video was exactly what I wanted and the cinematography was so well done. He is clearly a very talented videographer and you won't regret hiring him for your wedding!
