From the moment she arrived, she brought such calm, positive energy—it felt like having one of my closest friends by my side. She’s so easy to talk to and truly made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself.

Melissa went above and beyond in every possible way. She didn’t just make sure my hair and makeup were perfect—she helped me into the car while it was raining, fluffed my dress train right before I walked down the aisle, and even took my furbaby for a quick walk before she left so we didn’t have to worry. Those thoughtful little things meant so much to me and my family. My mom and grandma couldn’t stop raving about how lovely she was!

From the first meeting at our makeup and hair trial, I appreciated Melissa’s affable and professional demeanor. Melissa was timely, organized, and easy to talk with. She created a comfortable space in which I felt at ease asking her to tweak aspects of my makeup and hair style. Additionally, she worked well with all of the women in my bridal party, who all complemented her skill and lovely personality. On the day of the wedding, due to the numbers in my bridal party, Melissa brought in another artist to assist with hair styling. This hair stylist was equally lovely and the quality of her work was also top notch. Having Melissa and her team as part of my wedding morning getting ready crew was fun and enjoyable! Last month I got married at The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island, and I had the pleasure of working with Jackie Fanara, an artist from Melissa’s makeup team. She was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish- it felt like hanging out with an old friend! She is so incredible at making her clients feel comfortable, listened to, and pampered. She went completely above and beyond- when the bridal party was finishing photos outside and it started pouring, she got SOAKED while shielding my bridesmaids and making sure everyone was able to get safely from the park to the vehicles to inside the venue. She literally used herself as a shield and then proceeded to to help everyone get touch ups while they dried off- by the time the ceremony had started, no one would have had an idea that everyone had been rained on. By the end of the day, she was everyone’s best friend. She was an angel that day and I am so thankful she was my artist. If you’re looking for an incredibly talented artist who will charm you with her positive attitude and incredible sense of humor- Jackie is your gal. Special shout out to Tressa, who did the makeup for my mother in law and few other people’s on my husband’s side of the family- they all loved her and said that she made them feel so special! And of course, shout out to Melissa for being lovely and communicative while setting me up with her team!

I can’t say enough good things about Melissa. I was devastated after my first bridal hair and makeup trial with a different stylist did not go the way I wanted it to. Melissa came to our house for our trial and made me feel 1,000x better! She gave me a more natural airbrush makeup look and an effortlessly beautiful wavy side part. I have never felt more beautiful in my life. The biggest thing my husband wanted was to see my freckles on our wedding day, and Melissa made it happen! Melissa was also super helpful about answering questions I had for myself and my bridal party leading up to the wedding! She is a true professional and she did an amazing job with her partner for my bridal party, mom and the mother of the groom on our wedding day. Melissa is nothing short of the pinnacle of professionalism and talent, even during a pandemic she delivers unparalleled work while maintaining all safety measures. She create the most beautiful and timeless side swept style. Something I could not have ever imagined would work on me and my god was i shocked! I felt like I had stepped out of the 1940's hollywood era. A true timeless look. My makeup was created from a number of different inspiration photos i came to her with. She mixed. custom color for my foundation and airbrushed me to perfection. My skin was flawless. Her style was the perfect blend of impactful and beachy california inspired without making me look too cakey or over done. As a New Jersey based bride, I've seen my fair share of over the top bridal makeup and this was absolutely not that. It was light, fresh faced, clean, and beautiful.

Overall Melissa delivered my hair and makeup service far beyond anything I could have ever asked for or imagined and I would recommend her to anyone I could!
