Loved Styles on B! Stacie and her team have the best vibe and make the wedding glam process so relaxed and fun – as it should be! Stacie is so talented and had a better idea of my vision than I did (haha!). She was also honest and helped guide me during our trial to looks that would suit my face, frame, dress etc. On the wedding day she did my hair, my mom and five bridesmaids/MOH with ease. Laureen at Styles on B is, without exaggeration, a bridal hair unicorn — especially if you have curly hair. I spent weeks searching for someone who actually understood natural curls. Every other stylist wanted to blow my curls out first and “curl them back,” which anyone with curly hair knows is a one-way ticket to flat roots, limp ends, and curls that don’t look like yours at all.

Laureen immediately understood all of this. From the moment I walked into my trial, I felt seen, understood, and instantly relaxed. She has this warm, calming, genuinely comforting presence that makes you feel like you’re in the best hands of your life. She listened, asked smart questions, and then I showed her my dress — and this is where her brilliance really took off.

Laureen is an engineer, and she brought that same structural, artistic mind to my hair.
She didn’t just “do an updo.”
She designed a hairstyle that echoed the movement, flow, and detail of my gown.
My hair looked like a couture extension of the dress itself. It was beyond anything I imagined.

On the wedding day, she executed every curl with surgeon-level precision. She used different curlers and techniques to get my curls fully defined from the root, with volume, dimension, and hold — not stiff, not crunchy, just… perfect. Then, she took a piece of appliqué from my gown and wove it seamlessly into the side of my hairstyle, exactly where the appliqué sits on my dress. I wasn’t wearing a veil, and this became the focal point for the entire bridal look. Guests were obsessed. I was obsessed.

I only had one bridesmaid, and a few friends joined me while getting ready — and every single one of them loved her. She never rushed, never stressed anyone out, and somehow kept us perfectly on schedule without sacrificing an ounce of artistry. She created the calm, happy, unhurried bridal morning every bride dreams of.

My curls stayed flawless the entire night — photographed beautifully, held their shape, and still looked like my curls, just elevated and perfected.

Laureen is the real deal. If you are a curly-haired bride, she is not just a great option — she is the option. And even if you don’t have curls, she’s simply one of the most talented stylists you will ever meet.

I worked with Alyssa for my wedding. she did an INCREDIBLE job! Everyone (5 of us) loved our hair styles and received compliments all night. She's very talented and efficient. The studio was professional and easy to work with. I also found the cost to be reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Stacy and her team did a beautiful job with my hair. I have curly, sometimes unruly hair so I knew I needed to be strategic with who I hired and the style I went with to ensure my hair stayed the entire wedding day (especially in August!). Stacy did an amazing job giving me the look I wanted, and it was beautiful all night (as good as my hair can possibly stay).

I had a bridal party of 10 and everyone was happy with how their hair turned out! Stacy & Alyssa were on time, professional and fun to be around on wedding day. Alyssa and Styles on B are amazing!! I first got to know Alyssa when she did my hair at a friend’s wedding. I loved her so much, I hired her to do our hair at my wedding, too! As you learn attending many weddings, some vendors are calm, cool, and collected, and others add to what is already a stressful time. Alyssa (hair stylist) and Aubrey (who handles all communication from Styles on B ahead of the actual wedding day) are both wonderful. Aubrey is a great communicator, clear about pricing, availability, and everything you need to know to make sure you and your bridal party are prepared to have your hair done the morning of the wedding. Alyssa is awesome. She styles your hair beautifully and is extremely efficient. She structures the day differently than some other stylists. She sets everyone’s hair first, so curls have time to take hold, and then finishes everyone’s hair after. She’s the first hair stylist I’ve seen who’s been able to get fine hair to hold its style most of the night. She’s very easy going and efficient, easily able to work around the makeup artists’ more rigid schedule. Somehow, despite having a relatively short window to do everyone’s hair, she always finishes early, able to do touch ups on everyone before heading out. She made everything feel easy and seamless throughout the whole time getting ready. I was glad to have a reference point ahead of my wedding to be so confident in Alyssa’s experience and hope I can do the same for anyone reading this here. I would recommend her highly and would choose her for our wedding again if given the chance!

Could not have asked for a better experience than working with StylesOnB for my wedding. Aubrey set me up from the inquiry onward and was extremely responsive, helpful and so nice. Laureen was our stylist both for trial and day of, and had a mix of older and younger hair styles (and hair types!) to contend with. Not only did she do a FANTASTIC job, she is also a joy to talk to and a wonderful human being in general. The StylesOnB team was incredibly flexible and understanding given our multiple COVID reschedules and I cannot thank them enough for their patience and customer service from beginning to end. Cannot recommend Styles on B highly enough! Alyssa was SO amazing to work with both during the trial and all of wedding day! She listened to exactly what I wanted and nailed it!!! (and then listened again when I changed my mind and/or wanted things tweaked). In addition to doing an AMAZING job on the entire bridal party (all of the girls wanted to know exactly what products and things she used because they were all so obsessed with their hair), Alyssa was also just such a great vibe to have in the bridal suite with us all day. AND on top of that, during an absurdly windy wedding day, she literally followed us around with our photographers during pictures to make sure every hair displaced by the wind ended up in the right spot :) Truly went above and beyond what I could have asked for in a wedding day hairstylist. If you're looking for a hairstylist, look no further!!!

We had a great experience with Alyssa at my wedding! We had a small group (myself plus four bridesmaids and two moms) and Styles on B were so accommodating for the whole event, including travel. I did a trial with Alyssa before the wedding and she did exactly what I asked for, however after wearing the hairstyle for the afternoon I realized it wasn't the style I wanted to go with for the big day, she was so accommodating and arranged a second trial for me to make sure I was super comfortable with the style we finally decided on. At the wedding she was perfectly punctual, professional and so fun! All the styles she did for the bridal party were gorgeous and each of us were very happy with the final result. I would definitely recommend Alyssa/Styles on B to anyone.
