Melissa is the absolute best!
Melissa was absolutely amazing! She did my makeup and hair for my wedding, and I can honestly say I have never felt more beautiful! She truly listened to all my wants and needs at our trial and ABSOLUTELY executed them all!! She was also the most calming spirit the day of my wedding, which is exactly what every bride needs! I could not recommend her more!

Melissa is incredible!
Melissa did my hair & makeup for a photoshoot and she has done hair & makeup for a bride that I photographed, and her work is always stunning! On top of that she is kind and professional and a joy to work with. I recommend her to all my brides! 10/10

Amazing work!
I don’t know where to begin with this review. Melissa did my hair for my bridals and wedding day! She went above and beyond for my bridals and went over the top for the wedding! She asked prior to the session for inspo and when I showed up we talked about it and she went to work. She was super friendly and professional the entire time and quick to respond to my inquires. She was patient with my million questions I had. My wedding hair was more than I even dreamed of (and it held up so well in the texas heat and on the dance floor!). She truly is a beautiful soul and I will be using her for future events!

talented, punctual, and kind
I don't even know where to start with this review, but I guess I'll start by saying if you're looking for a hair and makeup artist for your wedding or an event, look no further. She is one of the most talented and artistic people I've ever met, she's punctual, and oh so kind. Not only did I feel absolutely beautiful for my bridal photos and on my wedding day, I also got a new friend out of the whole experience! You won't regret booking Melissa, I promise you. Your curls will hold all day, your makeup will enhance your natural beauty, and you'll have the sweetest person to hype you up on your big day! Oh, and did I mention she also does photography?! @melissab_photo :)

Melissa for the win!
Melissa is FANTASTIC, look no further. She is such a sweet girl you want to spend the morning of your wedding with. Not to mention she is extremely talented and selected the best co makeup artist to assist her the day of my wedding. Melissa and her partner completed makeup and hair for 8 of us the morning of my big day and EVERY girl was pleased. The weddings I have been in previously always had one or two girls who were unhappy about some component of their beauty but that was not my experience with Melissa. My aesthetic is normally no makeup just sunscreen. So i knew i needed a natural look and less glam for the big day to still look like my authentic self. MELISSA nailed it. I was so comfortable in the makeup and did not feel overdone. This is a big component of your big day and i highly suggest Melissa so you do not have to worry at all about looking your best!

Melissa is the best!
Melissa did an amazing job styling everyone's hair for our wedding! She was super quick (not rushed at all, just a magician!) and every single hair style was complete perfection and lasted through the whole wedding. Melissa is super friendly, too, and made everyone feel comfortable while she styled them. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a HMU artist!

Beautiful person inside and out to do beautiful hair
This review is overdue! To say I am grateful that Melissa, even with her move to Texas, came all the way back to Utah to do my wedding day hair and coordinate mine and al my bridesmaids/MOB make up as well is an understatement. Not only was she super transparent in everything, she is kind and professional and how to make the morning of my wedding super relaxing. I loved the relationship between or hairstylist and make up artist and I knew we were going to be well taken care of for the day. Thank you thank you thank you!

Skilled, professional, and kind!
Hire Melissa! You will not regret it. She was probably my favorite vendor to work with in our wedding planning process! From the beginning, she was responsive and detailed in our email communications which made it easy to trust her. When a second artist had a scheduling conflict at the last minute, Melissa went above and beyond to find a replacement makeup artist of the same caliber so that we didn’t have to start at 7am to be ready on time. Beyond that, her artistic skills gave me the perfect hair and makeup that I was looking for. She also did the hair of my bridesmaids and all the moms! Everyone looked and felt beautiful. You hang out with your HMU for so long about on your wedding day, so their personality matters. Melissa was sweet and a natural, calm conversationalist that was lovely to hang out with. I would recommend her to anyone!
