''My approach to documenting weddings is simple: have fun and tell your wedding story in a unique, creative, and unobtrusive way. I’ll make you laugh and bring out the best in you. Often times you won't even know I'm there. I work very hard behind the scenes to capture the emotion and feels of your day. Your final collection images will include a blend of artistic details, intimate candid moments, dramatic pulled back scenics, and timeless portraiture highlighting your love and connection. Not only do I want you to be extremely happy with your wedding photographs, I want you to have fun taking them. Can't tell you how many times I've heard, ''Wow Matt, I'm not a picture person, but you made that really fun, quick, and easy! Thank you!'' I believe every wedding gallery should not look the same!! You only get married once. Wedding photography is an investment. How do you want your story to be told? Look forward to hearing from you!''

Matt was awesome to work with and we LOVED our photos!
Matt is our wedding photographer, but we were lucky enough to have him take our engagement pictures before the wedding. We aren’t getting married until October, but we were blown away by our engagement shoot with him! Not only was he awesome to work with (helped my fiancé who hates pictures feel so much more comfortable), it took less than a week to get the pictures back (and they were taken during the week of thanksgiving) and they were AMAZING!!! He is also super responsive with emails and helpful with wedding planning. I honestly can’t say enough good things about him and he hasn’t even shot our wedding yet!Sent on 04/25/2019

Everything you could ask for in a photographer!
Matt is WONDERFUL! My husband and I loved working with him. We felt comfortable, we felt like he was making great use of time (which was big for us) and we know the photos will turn out amazing as they did for our engagement shoot. Matt is great at understanding who you are, your style, and what you are looking for on your big day. You seriously can't go wrong with him! We look forward to using him for family portraits one day!Sent on 07/10/2019

The Best Decision we made!!
My husband and I have been looking for the words to describe our fairytale experience with Matt and his wife Annie on the day of our wedding. From the moment those two walked into both of our houses they were taking photos and capturing raw, candid and emotional moments that perfectly describe our day. Matt and Annie made us, our families, and our bridal party feel at ease and comfortable. It was quite windy on the day of our wedding and they provided guidance and suggestions to help ensure our pictures still came out flawless. During our reception they were able to capture sunset pictures on the sound side while still documenting those on the dance floor. We cannot recommend Matt enough. We are already looking forward to the next time we can utilize his services!Sent on 06/24/2019
Incredible imagery, creative and well thought out. One of the highest quality photographers on the Outer Banks!
Such a talented photographer! Check his work out!
We just love this guy! His sweet and fun personality comes through his photography each and every time. Those moments that no one thinks could possibly be captured are no match for this great photographer.
