We are so thankful that Lucy Black Entertainment was able to make our mountain wedding ceremony dreams come true! They not only agreed to our idea but were excited to meet our unique request of having a violinist on the mountain at sunset for our small wedding ceremony. They were flexible during the whole process and were transparent and efficient with communication. They guided us through the whole process to make sure the experience was exactly what we were hoping for. On the day of our wedding, the team was amazing and the performance made our ceremony all the more special.

We loved Lucy Black Entertainment for our August wedding. They provided lighting for our reception, mics for the ceremony and of course the most important pieces: string musicians for the ceremony (who even learned a Persian song my husband wanted to walk down the aisle to!) and Lucy Black Luxe (and 2 horns) for the band. Our guests had the absolute best time (even getting on the floor during dinner for an unplanned dance session) and we loved how fun and amazing the band was. We would absolutely recommend Lucy Black Entertainment and Lucy Black Luxe for all weddings!

We had a total blast with Lucy Black Entertainment at our wedding. DJ Tezrah was phenomenal and completely took the example vibe songs that we had provided and ran with them. The dance floor was full all night. Highly highly recommend working with DJ Tezrah! Lucy Black Entertainment as a company was also extremely professional and helpful. They had really clear suggestions for how to execute our vision and were very responsive (even when we changed our mind all the time!). We would definitely recommend hiring them. They helped make a great ambiance and were a wonderful vendor team to work with.

Saw Lucy Black Luxe at a friend’s wedding in 2019 and have wanted to use them for our wedding ever since! We found them super easy to work with and responsive! So grateful the band was able to learn 3 songs for us and did an incredible job with each. The band was incredible and brought all of the energy to the dance floor. Wow, Lucy Black Entertainment from start to finish provided the best music and support. They provided our AV support for our ceremony without a hitch. The acoustic guitarist for our ceremony and cocktail hour was beyond talented. We had put a few songs on our list that were not on the Lucy Black list, but the guitarist had no problems learning them and did the most phenomenal job. We had Lucy Black Luxe, with the addition of a saxophone and wow wow wow, they brought their A game. We had the whole party dancing the entire night. Many of our guests said this was the best band they ever had. Rebecca and Lauren were also so involved throughout the process and making sure it was all smooth. They are the #1 entertainment group for a reason.

Rebecca and her team were beyond amazing. It is two weeks since my daughter’s wedding and the band is still the talk of the town. People danced all night - even people who have never danced at a wedding before. BEST BAND EVER is what everyone is saying - and I agree. The band is fun, engaged and sounds fantastic. Best decision.

For our November 2022 wedding, aside from the venue, Lucy Black Ent was the first vendor we booked! After watching their promo video, they truly stood out from any other band on the DC market. From their soulful and authentic sound to working the vendor contract with Lauren (who is literally the sweetest human), choosing them really was a no brainer. On the management side, we were able to completely customize our services for the day of the wedding and Lauren made a point to work with our budget (which was another huge reason why we went with them -- quality customer service is very important to us). We opted to have Lucy Black provide ceremony music and then selected the Lucy Black Luxe Band for the dinner and reception. Our one request was we wanted the band to be interactive with the crowd, and they truly exceeded our expectations. The band was on the floor with our guests, dancing, and kept the energy up all night. Everyone was out on the dance floor, and the most compliments we recieved from our wedding was from just how amazing the band was. You could tell every member of that band was truly all in the moment with our guests. Major thanks to Lauren who was so easy going, flexible,kind, and made sure all of our questions and comments were addressed. We took our music selection very seriously --- in our opinion, it makes or breaks a wedding. Lucy Black Luxe literally TORE the house down and it was without a double one of the best decisions we made! If I could plan another event just to book them again, I would! Truly masters at their craft and a joy to have at our wedding. Thank you thank you thank you! One things for sure, you have gained some new groupies :)!

The Lucy Black Luxe band was EVERYTHING!!! They truly made our wedding the most fun it possibly could have been, and I have received more compliments and comments about the band than anything else over the whole wedding weekend. We're so grateful for how helpful Lauren was with planning and coordinating and just overall making sure our timeline and events went off without a hitch. The number one thing we heard after our wedding was about how amazing the band was. Lucy Black Luxe was the hit of the night - they do NOT disappoint. Three weeks out we are STILL getting calls about how much people loved our band, and they were able to play all the music we wanted and kept the party going until the very end of the night.
