Hi friends! We’re the Left Coast Quintet, your own mini personal orchestra bringing a live soundtrack to your wedding day.

Based in San Diego and performing throughout Southern California, LCQ is a professional wind quintet featuring flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon. Since 2014, we’ve helped couples create wedding celebrations that are elegant, memorable, personal, and just a little different from the ordinary.

One of our favorite things about LCQ is the incredible variety of music we can perform. Our library includes hundreds of arrangements spanning classical favorites, jazz standards, Broadway, pop and rock, Disney and Pixar, movie and television soundtracks, video game themes, and plenty of wonderfully unexpected selections. From Bach and Debussy to Taylor Swift, ABBA, Elvis, and music from your favorite films, we love creating a soundtrack that actually feels like you.

We can provide music throughout your celebration, including prelude as guests arrive, wedding party and couple processionals, special ceremony moments, your recessional, and cocktail hour. Our smaller Left Coast Trio is also available for couples looking for a more intimate ensemble.

Not sure what music to choose? That’s completely fine! We’ll work with you to build a program around the atmosphere you envision. Already know exactly what you want to walk down the aisle to? Even better. We love special requests and finding ways to incorporate music that has a personal connection to our couples.

Over the years, we’ve performed at beautiful resorts, beaches, gardens, wineries, historic properties, rooftops, ballrooms, parks, and wedding venues throughout San Diego and Southern California. As an acoustic ensemble, we can also perform in many locations where electricity or amplification isn’t practical.

Most importantly, we want this part of wedding planning to be fun and easy. We’ll coordinate the musical details, work with your planner or venue when needed, and make sure everything is ready when your wedding day arrives.
