Laura is the real deal!! She was constantly working in the background preparing and ensuring all vendor logistics and details of the day went smoothly. This was essential for us because we were planning a wedding in Sarasota from multiple states away, and only had a few visits that year to accomplish wedding things! She scheduled zoom calls with us in the interim and always made sure me, my groom, and my family were on the same page with the details of the day (not a task for the lighthearted haha!)! She balanced letting us do the parts we were excited about, like the design elements, but taking over and coordinating logistics and parts we didn’t want to do. She advocated for us to vendors if things weren’t going as we thought and figured out solutions for us all year!

The biggest thing for us was the TIMELINE (I’m sure she is chuckling at this)! If there were any problems that day I have no idea because she kept the whole night running smoothly and efficiently…which was key for keeping the energy up on a LATE evening New Years wedding! I had full faith that she could handle anything because of her years and years of experience, and that came in handy more than we would have expected!

On the actual wedding weekend, for multiple unforeseen reasons, we had to change the wedding church two days before!!! Everyone I tell that to says, “oh that must’ve have been SO stressful,” but honestly it wasn’t because we had Laura figuring everything out! I can’t even imagine how stressed we would’ve been otherwise. She truly went above and beyond for us!!

Don’t think twice about having Laura and her team help plan your dream wedding. They worked with us for 6 months to make our quick April 2023 wedding picture perfect. Words can’t express how wonderful they are to work with, let alone how good they are at what they do! The details and work they put into a wedding are incredible. Laura, Ashley, and Katie made our wedding experience the best day our our lives. We want to do it all over again. They are with you every single step of the way and are always accessible for anything you need. We would of never done this without them and are grateful for everything they have done for us.

Laura helped us plan our April 2023 wedding at the Sarasota Yacht Club. From beginning to end of the planning process, Laura and her team were fantastic! She helped us to stay organized and on track, which made planning so much easier.
She is very efficient and very easy to work with. Always quick to get an answer back to you or update you on something. As it got closer to the wedding, she had meetings planned perfectly to get every being addressed in a timely manner.
The weekend of the wedding was truly a breeze thanks to her and her team. She made sure vendors were coordinated and on time. Quickly addressing and resolving anything that popped up. Our wedding day was such a joy and truly made so much smoother by her attention to detail and organization. We are so thankful to have gotten to work with her for the past year and feel genuinely sad not to have something to work on with her.
Besides amazing event planner, she is an extremely kindhearted and wonderful person. Truly someone you want to work with and have alongside you during an important event. LDE is the best vendor we’ve worked with for any project. Laura, Ashley, and the rest of the team are incredibly nice, professional, and fun to be around. They went above and beyond in so many different ways. They made our wedding perfect; we could not recommend LDE more strongly!

For context, I was an out-of-state bride planning the wedding with my mother. Neither of us were too familiar with the local vendors or contacts we needed to involve in the process. I also never cared too much about weddings and definitely never thought about my own. We were starting at square one. I have a unique style that is important to me which guided our general vision, but we had no idea about a lot of the “low-level” specifics. I mostly knew what I did not want. I felt very out of my element, but Laura showed me the way and helped us turn my high-level concepts into concrete ideas. I’m also the type of person who tends to over-research things before taking action and has a hard time outsourcing tasks to other people; Laura immediately understood what we were thinking and we quickly trusted her to make many decisions on our behalf. She really is as good as she sounds!

Planning the wedding remotely meant that Laura and her team shouldered extra weight. My work also made it hard for me to be available during normal hours. Laura connected us with the perfect local vendors and made sure we were aware of time sensitive communications. Again, she and her team went the extra mile in so many ways.

The wedding was logistically complex from inception, but our goal was to make the event as easy as possible for our 150 (mostly) out-of-town guests. They stayed at multiple hotels while I stayed at an Airbnb with my family. The wedding required the attendees to move between three different spaces at the venue, Selby Gardens. Despite the complications, Laura and Ashley made sure the day ran flawlessly. My husband and I had an absolute care free blast.

Our wedding was incredible—even better than we could have imagined… and we could not have pulled it off without Laura, Ashley, and the LDE team. Easily the best wedding decision we made. We would hire LDE again in a heartbeat – Thanks for everything!

Laura and her team were an essential part of our wedding weekend! We worked with Laura for a year in the lead up to our wedding in April 2023 at Selby Gardens. We had a partial planning package which was great as we were planning from out of state. Laura was very helpful in recommending vendors and suggestions for our venue which she works at frequently (a big plus!). In the lead up we met with Laura several times over zoom or in person while we were in town. The week of the wedding, Laura and her assistant Ashley were available for anything we needed. Everything the day of was so smooth all because of their hard work to give us the perfect day! I would definitely recommend working with Laura and her team!

Laura was cool, calm, and collected from day one, which was very important to my husband and I since we were planning a wedding in a relatively short amount of time. Laura and her team were fantastic to work with leading up to our wedding and even more amazing on our wedding day! We were planning a destination wedding, which is always scary when you don't really "know" any of the vendors you'll be working with, Laura included! We did her "happily ever after package", she was extremely helpful and provided so much value the months leading up to our wedding. She was extremely knowledgeable in guiding us with vendors, providing suggestions and ideas based on our needs. She has an excellent network and was able to find us options in our budget, despite it being spring break and a very large wedding. I changed my mind on things, switched vendors, she was always willing to provide guidance, suggestions, send notes on our behalf, etc. She was fantastic the month of diving into every detail with us and managed to put out quite a few fires day off with ease. If you are a type A bride, and want to feel like everything is handled on your day, I would suggest using Laura, she really thinks of everything and when we had to move things around due to weather last minute, I really trusted her. What I love most is that she still checks in on us from time to time just to say hi, she really cares!
