We hosted my daughter's wedding at Lancaster Host in August, 2014. Lancaster Host, and Karl the Catering and Beverage Manager in particular, were fantastic!! From the guest room experience to the food and the reception venue everything was wonderful!! Such a pleasant and reassuring experience at a time that can be extremely stressful. Thanks to Lancaster Host for making a wonderful occasion so stress-free.

My husband and I, as well as my family, were blown away by the incredible value that the Host offered for prices that were below some less-elegant vendors we had just checked out. Our ceremony was held at the Host's outdoor ceremony location with willow trees and pond, and was absolutely perfect, and our reception was held inside in the Vistas room, which was also absolutely perfect. The whole day was very elegant and we felt very special. Our wedding consultant at the Host was very attentive to detail, so that on the day of the wedding everything went perfectly and none of the guests/family/bride and groom/bridal party had to set anything up or worry about any kind of details. The package we selected was very all-inclusive and that made our experience VERY pleasant and comforting. The place is GORGEOUS, the staff is all very professional and respectful, and our experience with them was truly great -- I would recommend the Host to anyone!

After spending a great deal of time looking for a location that could do an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception we found the Lancaster Host. I was hesitant having an outdoor reception at this location, since they have never had one before. I must say they completely outdid themselves. The ceremony site was beautiful and romantic. The cocktail hour was tucked into a quiet shaded area and the location for the reception tent was perfect. Jenny Mercandeti was our contact person and I can't say enough positive things about her. She took our vision and made it a reality. She was easy to talk to and incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our experience at the Host was fabulous and exactly what we dreamed the day to be.

The Host provided a great quality experience for a reasonable price for our daughter's wedding. The only caution I would have is to be sure to know what everything costs and what is and is not included in writing. There were a few items we thought were going to be included and they weren't - however the prices weren't exorbitant compared to other venues. Ask about their buffet menus for weddings - it was awesome! They worked well with us and helped accommodate our needs around their other scheduled activities. Don't be afraid to ask for what you need - be sure to confirm all the things you talk about too. They are very busy and they do their best, but sometimes things get forgotten, so stay on top of things and everything will be great! Their wedding package is really awesome - a free night for the bride and groom on their wedding night and breakfast the next day AND a free night with dinner and breakfast on their one year anniversary!!! We really had a great experience with the staff and the facility and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Ceremony and Reception was absolutely beautiful. Our wedding was supposed to be outside, but because of the weather the previous day, it was too muddy. The "Plan B" ceremony room was still beautiful. The reception room was more elegant than I expected!!! Everything ran so smoothly considering our coordinator quit a week before the wedding. Becky took over and did an awesome job :)

For the over all cost it was a great place. The reception was beautiful, the food was delicious and at an affordable price. Although the coordinator was very nice but trying to contact her and get things settled was a total hassle. Things she had told us they would do, help with, and coordinate at the wedding never happened. We had a lot of balloons and a staff member even told the bridesmaid that it was gonna be our responsiblilty to clean them up. Other staff talked to us and told us she was in the wrong for saying it, but it made for a hassle on the day that was supposed to go well. Over all I would recommend it.

Despite some incidents that were out of the hotels control, the overall experience was one to remember. Cari Haimes, wedding coordinator, was extremely friendly, incredibly professional and definitely lifted a lot of stress from our shoulders.

The actual place and room was wonderful. The Beef was over cooked, tough and most people did gave up trying to cut it with the butter knife that was served. 2/3 of our guests ordered this. Do not involve yourself with the wedding coordinator Raquel Lack of communication - no returned phone calls and it was always the fault of someone else. There were no signs as promised to tell the guest where to go to get to the cermony - Therefore I (mother of the bride was directing traffic. Mine you the wedding was at 4:00 plenty of time to have had this done. I could go on but I so over it. Thank goodness for the wonderful DJ from Complete Music & video, He ran the show.
