Kelly's catered our August wedding and we were very pleased. From the appetizers, to the meal, to the dessert bar, everything was delicious. The service was superior and they were exceptionally attentive, organized, and friendly. They handled things a little differently than some of the other caterers I had spoken with- as the alcohol was per consumption rather than estimated ahead. We have nothing but a glowing report about this vendor!! First, their dishes are value priced (in our scenario, less than $50 per person – 2016 prices)! They will work with your budget to provide an amazing spread of food with great variety. They will also put together a full tasting for the bride and groom-to-be well in advance of the event! Let us get your mouth watering. We chose a heavy hors d’oeuvres array to include: sweet potato ham biscuits, blue cheese stuffed mushrooms, grilled shrimp served with remoulade sauce, tuna seared rare with wasabi, soy, ginger and seaweed salad, hot crab dip w/pita points, chicken breast stuffed w/Ham and Swiss finish w/Dijon cream sauce, beef shoulder tenders served with bread, béarnaise and horseradish sauces, and grilled vegetables. Dishes were cooked fresh, on-site. Every dish was fabulous and our guests complimented the amazing menu throughout the evening! Kelly’s also provided tea, soft drinks, lemonade, water, plates, utensils, glassware and coffee in the $50 per person cost! Remember to plan for tips for the staff as that is not included in their charges. For a party our size (170 guests), plan on about 12 staff including manager, bartending staff, cooks and servers. The bartending cost was based on actual consumption. Our venue limited the alcohol to wine, champagne and beer and the resulting per-person cost was less than $15!Sent on 08/22/2016
